Everything was perfect, the owners are so nice , the food is fresh and amazing, thank you for this experience ❤️
Just for letting know the people the road is hard , be careful if you don't have a 4×4

The hospitality of the owners, the dinner and breakfast prepared using local ingredients. The view over the valley is gorgeous from the room and terrace.
The road is challenging but can definitely be done in a normal 2WD car. It's an unpaved road with rocky areas (3-4 areas). Just use 1st gear, drive slowly and continuously, do not make stops, and keep the wheels in the higher areas.

Very kind and helpful hosts.
Clean and large room.
Animals in the garden for the children to play with.
Tasty diner and breakfast.
Strong raki & red wine.
Location at a hilltop overlooking the river valley.
Monumental villa.
Fair price.
Nothing to dislike !
The road uphill is quite challenging, but we managed to do it with a normal 2wd sedan.

Perfect location in the most picturesque setting, overlooking the river valley and mountains.
Beautiful imposing stone house, which has historical significance for the past several decades. Very spacious room, kept neat and spotless by the Lady of the house.
Friendly family who try their utmost to accomodate you and make you feel welcome.
They offer you local delicacies like home made jam, fruits and fresh juice. The owner is ready to share tidbits about the history and culture of Permet. Overall a very pleasant, memorable experience!

This is not just a guesthouse. It is an experience. The family welcomes you into their 120 year old stone house with surrounding herb and fruit garden. Home cooked fresh meals were amazing, the beds were comfortable, and the room was super clean. The guesthouse overlooks the Vjosa river that runs through the valley. Spectacular views.
If you prepare for this experience, you will love it.

A beautiful location and house run by an incredibly kind and helpful family. Food was absolutely delicious and we ate every breakfast and evening meal there. There is, obviously, an extra charge for this but we didn't know what it was so do ask if you are unsure. I would highly recommend eating there, you don't want to be going up and down the hill too much! The views are amazing, it is a little cooler on crazy hot days and you will be made to feel completely at home!
This isn't a criticism, more advice: the road up to the property is treacherous in a small/2WD car! We did not realise we could ask the host family to collect us from Permet and leave the car there so do contact the host with your arrival time. Other guests also drove up and found it very challenging indeed. The road is extremely steep and rubbly and longer than you expect. However, we were able to get lifts up and down after that.

We had a great time staying here. Considering the fact that we got lost thanks to google maps and we arrived late in the night at the property, the hosts were happy to see us. We got escorted to the house by their friendly dog. The rooms are just like in the photos, even bigger. The food was absolutely delicious with local ingredients and also from the garden. It was a pleasure chatting with the hosts and playing with their pets. We highly recommend this place.

please be careful this is not an easy drive and goes along a long gravel track.

amazing spot with great views! friendly hosts and great food.
the drive up is a bit of a challenge, but worth it! recommend a car that’s good off road

A historical guesthouse in a lovely garden with a lot of hospitality
Road to guesthouse is 5km off-road. It’s doable by car, but was not indicated in advance. Better call host to pick you up in Përmet

Wow, what a place!
Our room was very big and with very comfortable bed, everything very traditional and well made. Beautiful furniture. And the view!
The hosts were very sweet and the food delicious! We even tried home wine. Faleminderit!
We were on a roadtrip and this was definitely a highlight. :) The drive up the mountain is challenging with a smaller car, but possible and definitely worth it.

The family owning the guesthouse are simply remarkable.
You can feel the warmth of the house and the hospitality.
If you are looking for a calm stay with an amazing view and super kind hosts, this is the place to be
The road leading to the guesthouse is a bit challenging for a normal car especially during the night

Stunning views, beautiful property, incredible home cooked food. A warm, local experience thanks to the kindness offered by Elvis and his family!
More of an FYI than “not like”, the road to the property is pretty bumpy and bendy - suggest getting a small SUV when travelling in Albania as it definitely helps if you come across these kinds of roads!

its a unique location up on the mountains. also the views are stunning.
the drive up the mountain is little bit harder with out a 4x4 drive.

Very warm welcome and made feel at home. The food was amazing and very accommodating of our dietary requirements. It was like staying in a museum and staff helped us understand culture and history of the area. The view is amazing
The road to the property is quiet well worn but is an interesting trip in itself

I liked the owners, who were very kind (Flora and Kristaq). I enjoyed waking up with the birds singing. To experience their tradition was really nice. Their house is beautiful and unique.
The food was yummy 🤤
We felt like we were visiting our family.
I'm glad we booked this place, after reading the reviews I was worried about the road but to be honest it wasn't really bad. We had a Fiat Panda and no problem at all, drive slowly and be happy because their place is amazing.
We highly recommend this guesthouse.
Nothing, it was all wonderful.

Amazing hosts! They treat you like family. They cooked us amazing food and we sat by the fire together with their gorgeous cats!
The driveway was an adventure for sure haha. We were in a little Toyota Yaris that we were a bit worried about. Ended up being fine, but just be aware.

The view is amazing and the couple who own the house are beyond fantastic. Will come back for sure.

The last 2kms of road are bad.

we had the best time there. if you want to experience the real albanien hospitality, this is the place to be.
They were so lovely and made leaving even harder.
And the best part was the food, which was all homemade with mostly self grown vegetables and fruits.
we will be back soon! ☺️

A true home stay experience, as close to rural life as a tourist can get.
Road in is rough, but manageable.

The stay in the house Is an an amazing experience. The view on the mountain and the river is awesome, and the hosts are really nice and always ready to share stories. Really good food also.
As indicated in info and other review, the road to get there is difficult with some stiff parts with rocks which can really be tricky. If you are not an experienced driver ask for help to the hosts which will be available! I really suggest to provide a pick up service (I would have been ok to pay a small fee for that) to avoid problems and enjoy the stay without thoughts
