Location is perfect, house has everything you need
Mattresses in some of the rooms could do with replacing and the WiFi wasn't working for the first day which the TV works off impacted the kids more.

Nice place for us all to get together. Tea, coffee etc provided. Decent size beer fridge.
Couldn’t get cold water in the main bathroom, top oven/grill didn’t work. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The size of the place was fantastic and perfect for the size of our party. 2 single adults, 2 couples and a child under 2. 3 floors, 3 full bathrooms, 2 of which had showers and one with a shower over bath. Then a downstairs WC. Towels in all bathrooms and on all beds. There was a double up top with a bedroom with a bunk bed and a single, the landing space had a single, then middle floor had a double room and a twin room so total of 8 beds to sleep 10 people. The kitchen was sizable and well appointed, 10 bar stools too. Loving room had enough seating for us all comfortably. Parking around the back could be a squeeze but we were lucky and had space for our 2 cars for the duration. Check in and out using the keysafe very easy. Kettle, toaster, oven, plenty of crockery and utensils and even shower gels, hand soaps, dish soaps and all that extra to hand. High chair, travel cot, airer all in the utility room, with fridge freezer. Extra fridge in the kitchen. Microwave, Dishwasher as well with some tablets. Location was fantastic, just on the outskirts of the town centre so easy to walk to the Tesco express for basics, nice local shops and a couple pubs. The hot mango is absolutely gorgeous for breakfast! 2 minute drive to the countryside, or easy drive on the main road to Windermere (steam train, motor museum, national trust properties etc) also petrol stations, supermarkets are within a short distance. Showers were lovely and hot.
It was mostly just small things but the washing machine wasn't plumbed in (so unable to use), the microwave stopped working due to a fuse (one of our party is an electrician so no big issue). The top oven doesn't work, just the main oven and hob so we worked around that. Most of the beds I was told were not the most comfortable. Top bedroom double was very comfy but middle double and singles not too comfortable according to my party. Could have done with 2 keys for the property but not a big issue at all.

The apartment is spacious and very clean.
The washing machine is not working. We have to call them to ask, only then did they tell us it hasn't been working for a while. We shud've been told earlier.

Property a bit tired needs a lick of paint and spruce up

Great well kept place, needed somewhere to rest our head after a long day of driving and we was all chuffed when we arrived, great shower too

Loads of space, big kitchen area and loads of beds and bedrooms. Really good location close to loads of bars and restaurants
Beds were so uncomfortable none of my family were able to sleep. It’s also super loud, you can hear things from outside but also walls are thin you can hear people speaking who are 2 floors above! Probably more suited to hen/stag party than for families

The size of the property for the price you pay is excellent value for money, we were a large family group which has with numerous generations in attendance. We actually had property numbers 1 & 3 which was a substantial size for our needs. Location was great for access into the town of Ulverston and surrounding areas are easily accessible via both public and private transport. Parking was plentiful onsite which we made use of, but if not the car park across the street was large in size and low cost also.
Properties need a little housekeeping / maintenance work carried out. Scuffs and scraps on walls in hallways and stairways, all purely cosmetic but would make such a difference to a first impression when walking in the front door.
Only other thing to comment on was the beds, they need replacing (springs are not great at all) as well as the visual aspects of the mattresses, especially when you are asked to strip the beds yourselves when leaving.

We used the house for 6 adults and 4 kids to stay after visiting the zoo which was just down the road. The house had lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen diner and a snug but adequate living room. Tea and coffee were provided which is always useful as well as washing up liquid and tea towels which we normally forget!
The living room is a bit small but a minor detail

Self-catering, so breakfast was not offered. Very grateful for the pots of coffee, tea & sugar in the kitchen. Someone brought a bottle of milk. The house was clean, bright & welcoming. We arrived so late & so tired, the heating didn't get switched on till morning! Everything was easy to use & very accessible, the information in the folder clear & concise
Had we stayed longer, it would have been nice to have found a complimentary long life milk & biscuits. Our stay was so brief & booked less than 48hrs prior to arrival. For the price, it was more than any of us could have hoped for

Spotlessly clean. Great price. Good location. Lovely cleaning lady.
Could do with mirrors in some bedrooms, a few creaky floorboards fixing. But I’ve stayed in 5* hotels for a lot more money that have been much worse.

great size and plenty bathrooms/toilets.

Was all good but the sofa arms were very dirty. could do with good clean

3 bathrooms and WC
Poor decorative order, walls were marked and dirty. Everything very cheaply done — air of not being cared for. Very small living and dining areas for the number of guests.

The location was brilliant, lovely clean and warm property with plenty of room for 8 of us. Local amenities a stones throw from the location. We would definitely return!
There's nothing that we didn't like

Simply it was good value for money.
Car park was full but there was alternative parking arranged and bed was not comfortable at all.

not so clean, no outdoor space

Very good location, clean and tidy.
Noisy floors. It was difficult to sleep if someone walked on the floor.

Excellent Value for money and good if there’s a big group of people, close to town centre
bed wasn’t very comfortable. Could be a lot better if the place had a lick of paint and freshen up with new kitchen floor, lots of rips and big brown stains on vinyl. Its a bit tatty but we didn’t come for luxury but would look s lot nicer if those bit were improved.
