Basic, no bed sheets provided

The camp was easy to find and the staff at reception (Beth) was very lovely to deal with. It could have been a great stay for a family, except for the urine smell in the cabin. We got there in the dark so we didn't get to see much of the place and had to book a different accommodation last minute because we couldn't let our newborn stay in the cabin with that smell.

As soon as we opened the door, we were punched in the face with a very strong ammonia/urine odour. Everything in the room looked tidy so we were puzzled where the smell was coming from. We checked the toilet, bathroom, and laundry but the smell wasn't coming from those areas. We're guessing maybe the carpet?? No idea. We had to open the windows to lessen the smell. The beds also didn't have any sheets. There were only fleece blankets in the wardrobe that had hair on them. So we ended up booking another Airbnb last minute because we couldn't stay there with our newborn. We lost out on our payment even though we were only there not even an hour because their policy states it's a non-refundable booking. They said they'll look into some kind of refund but I haven't heard from them since.

Pleasant surpise, beautiful location

Wonderful welcome and check-in. Well maintained grounds. Appeared to be plenty to do for children. Beautiful lakeside location, beach only 5 mins away. Very nice cabin and deck to enjoy the sunset.

Only there overnight, didn't have any disappointing experiences.

Parking at my door Spacious for a small group - kitchen, dining, lounge, bedroom, separate toilet, separate basin, separate shower, separate laundry. Super friendly staff. Easy to walk down to the lake Convenient drive to surrounding areas Peaceful location away from busier areas.

It definitely felt like a school camp or family unit You have to do a lot of tidying and cleaning yourself on leaving, without a clear fee for leaving it to housekeeping.

A family we went with was treated awfully by one of the staff members. There was some misunderstanding simply because the family was not told the areas they were not supposed to be at or things they were not allowed to do. Instead of explaining what guests could and could not do, the family was accused of stealing stuff. The whole experience made us extremely uncomfortable.

A lovely space - I would come here again.

Not long after arriving, whilst sitting on the loo, a couple of staff members / delivery guys (?) let themselves into my accommodation without knocking or making themselves known - to deliver a couch. This was most unsettling!!

Beautiful area, great value, basic but comfortable.

It was fine for a short stay on the way down south, The value for money was excellent, and Forster/Tuncurry is a beautiful place. The facilities were clean and well-kept. The area was spacious and there was plenty of room in the cabin. The beds are a bit worn and the lining is wearing off but quite comfortable, and the cabins have lots of beds.

No TV, no alcohol allowed (not complaining, I understand that it is a christian camp).

Affortable fun family holiday

Location was so serene and breathtakingly beautiful. Sunset by the lake was not to be missed. Had no issue that the room had no tv, it was peaceful and wonderful that the kids get to go outside and play and enjoy the outdoors. Would love to stay longer if we could. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Shower pressure and couch although comfortable not pleasent to the eye.

Quiet and restful wilderness

Lovely quiet spot in fabulous natural setting. Amazingly interesting flora around here. Very comfortable spacious house , immaculately tidy

Just a few maintenance issues but we easily managed around them. If we had asked for help they would have come straight away I m sure.
