Exceptional

A great location with a fine view. A realky comfortable apartment in a house with character. Lithuanian chocolates as a welcome gift were much appreciated.

Great place!

Spacious and very clean apartment. Beautiful view to the castle through the kitchen window as well as perfect location. Very close to the main street but also very quite and private. A walk to the town offers great views too. Well equipped with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. Would for sure stay again at this property!

Superb

If you want to have a direct view on Trakai Castle, but at the same time be in calm region of the city, this the best place to go. Its located on the other side of the lake than city center - so evenings are calm. Byt you need ust a 10 minutes walk to reach the main promenade. The apartment itself is big and fully equipped includign dish washer and clothing washer.

Just one info. For sure its not negative but for some people this may be important. The apartment is on the 1st floor and stairs are rather steep. So if you have some mobility issues might not be place for you. Some small pets (kudos to owners for accepting pets) may also problem to go up by themselves.

Perfect location, perfect comunication. The best place we've stayed in Trakai. We could even take our dog with us! We found everything we've need. I' ve forgot to buy garlic for the shrimps to grill outside at, they even helped with that. The view from the kitchen is amazing. Besides, water is sooo soft in the shower, my hair became amazing after two days staying there😁😁😁

Lovely

Location was great. It is a few minutes walk from a footbridge that takes you across to the centre of Trakai yet you feel like you are in the country. It is only about 10 mins round the lake to the castle. The kitchen and one of the bedrooms has a view of the castle across the lake, the other bedroom looks out on the garden and fruit trees. We didn't meet the owner but they were very helpful and responsive to texts. We swam in the lake only a few minutes from the house which was lovely. Perfect place to have both and evening and early morning swim. Very quiet. Would definitely stay there again. We had a car which is why we chose this place but it is easily accessible from Trakai on foot so would be fine without a car as well.

A very minor point was the lack of breakfast bowls and large plates but the owner says they will remedy this and we ate out in the evening anyway. Otherwise it was lovely and we would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
