We had to change cabins at last minute but everything went very smoothly and cabin was beautiful with a beautiful view! Very pleased

Great escape for our family including our dogs! We hope to return next year for a longer stay! So many things to do in the area! We loved that Eagle Creek was hidden away from the hustle and bustle of things, but just a short drive to everything!!!!

This is a great place to feel like you are truly away from it all. My husband described it best.. this is a wooded cabin, not a mountain cabin. Do not rely on internet access or your phone to stay connected as neither had strong signals (sometimes none). It was a perfect property for our dogs as the fenced area allowed them freedom and they enjoyed frolicking in the creek that runs through the property. We did see multiple bears, some very large so be sure to be vigilent with your pets ( the bears are not aggressive and would alter their path upon discovery of us/dogs). I would also discourage wandering the path behind the property. There is another cabin and it is clear that wanderers are not welcome! With that said, the cabin is clean, well stocked and a wonderful plave to unplug and take in nature and truly unwind!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was at the end of a road in a little valley, so it was more secluded than most properties we passed on our drive in. The cabin could use a deep cleaning, the dog odor was very strong and the floors throughout were very loud when walking across…. So if you plan on putting anyone in the loft to sleep- make sure they’re the last to go to bed, there’s no tip-toeing around.
Those things were bothersome but we were able to overlook them as we didn’t spend the majority of our time inside. The porch and outdoor area were amazing and we even had a couple bear visitors (from a safe distance)! Would stay again.

It was a great stay at the cabin. Loved the location next to the mountain stream at the end of the mountain road. Peaceful, quiet, perfect.

This property needs some attention from the owner. The deck under the hot tub is in need of some repair. The steps going to the back yard are broken and unsafe. Floors are extremely creaky. Appliances need updated to a useable level. When it is more comfortable to sit on the hardwood floors than on the furniture it is time to update the couches.

Loved the location and peacefulness. Very cute cabin tucked away in the woods. Loved that it was family friendly.

Spring break family vacation overall it was a good stay. I think storms or high wind came in before we got there so trying to get into cabin was troublesome. Communication with property manager was well. My family and I would stay again.

We loved the secluded area this cabin was in. I’d recommend arriving before dark, if possible. The little creek was my favorite spot! We enjoyed sitting on the porch swinging and having our coffee listening to it. The back yard and secured porch were great for the dogs. Oh, great mattresses, too.

Great house!
The house was very clean upon arrival. Check-in was a little difficult because you have to log on to the site to get the door code and there's very spotty reception at the cabin. Like previous reviews state, the road to the cabin is slightly nerve-wracking because it is only one lane and if you run into anyone going the opposite direction, it takes some maneuvering. We did enjoy ourselves at this cabin and we LOVED having the babbling brook running right beside it! We brought our dog and really enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The cabin floors are very creaky, and the steps are slippery (the dog fell down the stairs several times). Having the kids toys upstairs was a nice touch and we finally ended up putting the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep the dog safe. We would stay here again, but probably not with the dog.

Overall good experience
The check in and check out experience were very smooth. The cabin was smaller than the pictures portrayed. We also talked to three different people in maintenance and housekeeping about the property not having trash cans inside of a cage. We never saw one the whole time we stayed there so I would update the trash policy on under this property. Also it says on the checkout list that you can take trash to dumpsters behind the main office and when I inquired about this I was told that was incorrect and should not be on the paper.
The creek is very peaceful and I like how private the property is. It was an overall nice vacation.

Gatlinburg 2022 trip
Rental was exactly like the pictures. It was clean, having a washer and dryer was convenient and the best part was the amazing hot tub! The road to the place was a little tricky.

Quiet and secluded
My husband and I decided to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary here, and we brought our dog as well. The thing that sold us on this house was the fenced in back yard for our dog, as that made it easier on us to let him out without having to have him on a leash constantly. The road to the house was a little sketchy, as it was a one lane road but thankfully we didn’t have any other cars on the road at the same time as us! The only issue we had was there being no curtains/blinds on the main sliding door facing the road and neighbors house. It would have been nice to have total privacy at night, but it didn’t ruin the trip. The hot tub was splendid and the bed was super comfortable! Loved our experience overall.

Needs updated
No listing of washer and dryer I also called and was told no there was not any. Packed extra clothes and towels for six of us for 8 days took alot of room in car. Got to cabin new washer and dryer. Refrigerator is loud and vibrates. Dishwasher did not work. Floor in cabin creeks alot when you walk on it. So bad that you wake other people in house up. Don't believe oven works right . Seemed to burn things. Did find mouse droppings in cupboards by fridge. Didn't realize it was so far from town. No place to put full garbage bags.

Cozy & secluded
The cabin was very cozy and secluded. They provided plenty of towels and everything you would need. We had 2 kids with us and they absolutely enjoyed the toys they have upstairs. Directions to the cabin are direct and easy to get to. A little more secluded than I thought it wound be with a very creepy cabin down a trail that had a mask and hand in the Window, I didn't sleep very well after funding it lol, but asked for more I fo about it and haven't heard back from anyone. I think they should definitely let people know it's back there and some history in case you walk your dog and stumble upon it. That's what happened to me, kids were a little freaked out, as well as the adults. Love the washer and dryer, brand new! I don't think we're going to be staying there again, only bc of the little scare, not bc of cleanliness or anything else. It was all fun and spooky till night fall, then that's all I thought about LOL. Thanks for providing so much for our stay and we really did overall enjoy the area and the rustic cabin feel. Thanks again!

Perfect for pets
This property was perfect for us with our fur babies! We have in the past had to walk our dogs and I was always concerned walking early morning or night due to wildlife. This property has a backyard and we were able to let them go potty off a leash, which is their preferred method lol
Also the steps down to the yard had a rotten step and when I notified guest services they came out same day and replaced all steps. Hot tub was also perfect for relaxing after all day walking and shopping.

Eagle Creek
Eagle Creek is a wonderful cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sounds of the creek are so soothing and relaxing, almost mesmerizing. Great deck/porch area, wonderful outdoor fenced in area if you have fur babies like we do! We saw a bear come up by the creek on our second evening there! The cabin itself is really nice and clean. Very comfortable and set up nicely with all the amenities and essentials for grilling and preparing meals during your stay. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would happily stay again!

Beautiful setting, lovely cabin but they need to work on cleanliness
The cabin is adorable and the property is private and gorgeous. There is a lovely creek running along side the property which is wonderful to listen to as you sit on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book. The property manager could work on the cleanliness of the cabin and the grounds immediately around the cabin. There was a beet bottle cap on the rug in the living room, cobwebs hanging in door frames and mouse poop in numerous areas. My hubby says that the cabin is in the woods so I should expect mice but I'm sorry, I just can't get comfy knowing that a mouse may run across the room at any moment. LOL. Some folks may not have an issue with that and if that is the case, you will LOVE this property.

cute cabin
We enjoyed our stay, the cabin has an odd smell to it, not sure if it's from previous pets or just from it being closed up. The location was easy to get to and was nice and quiet. We enjoyed listening to the creek beside the cabin, watching lightning bugs and the overall peacefulness of the area.
I would like to make anyone planning a trip aware that we saw several bears, they would walk in the area between the cabin and the creek, and they would come up and smell around our vehicle. We also saw a mama bear and her cub walking the morning that we left to go home. So, stay observant.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin.

Cabin itself was fine, strong dog odor and dirty paper towels in the bathroom floor & trash in yard.
Cabin was over all fine and little things I can deal with but dealing with Vtrips which I assume manages this cabin and others was HORRIABLE. I signed the electronic agreement with my name but it wasn't as it appeared on the contract to then received a contract canceled email with no refund! Which should have been an email saying resign and the reasons why. I needed one extra day added to my booked trip and emailed Vtrips immediately to add on a Sunday but that day was amazingly booked. I will buy a cabin there before I book with VTrips again.

Excellent cabin!
We had an excellent family vacation in this cabin! It is about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg and we also visited other popular areas. The hot tub was welcoming and a favorite spot for our teens. The porch has a gate so our dog could just hang with us while we swing and listen to the creek. Our youngest spent all of her time in the creek catching snails and salamanders. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. It does have a small dishwasher and the kitchen is stocked with all things needed for cooking. The only thing that bothered us was the road to the cabin. It is a short stretch of road but super narrow so only one vehicle can fit and there is no guard rail or anything, just a super steep drop off the mountain. We saw bears on this road multiple times and that was fun but a little scary with the narrow road. Overall we thought it was a nice place and would stay here again. The creek being right by the house was one of the best parts!!

Short getaway
We really enjoyed the privacy and the fenced in yard for our dogs. The wrap around porch locks so we weren’t worried about the dogs getting out. The drive to get there being a little scary as our GOS took us down the golf course road and we had to turn around. I don’t recommend making that drive at night. We enjoyed our trip!

Cozy cabin next to a small rushing stream
Had a cozy stay at this cabin with a wrap around porch next to a small rushing stream. The drive up the mountain was steep and the final road down to the cabin was one lane. Thankfully we never met anyone going in and out. We saw two bears driving up the mountain and heard lots of birds while sitting on the porch swing listening to the stream and tones of the wind chime. The hot tub was relaxing and the drive to Gatlinburg was only about 15 min. The cabin floor was a bit creaky and the upstairs bathroom floor was a bit warped but the beds were super comfy. We had to call maintenance to come fix a sink that wouldn’t drain but they came while we were out for the day and it was fixed when we returned. Definitely a nice setting and a fairly comfortable stay for a few nights. The place is conveniently set up for people who bring their dog. They even have dog dishes set out and a way to secure the porch gates from wandering pets. But beware for poo mines if you walk in the fenced in area around back.

This cabin isn’t one that is sitting precariously on the side of the mountain but instead placed off the road surrounded by woods and a stream that makes going to sleep peaceful. We enjoyed the large kitchen, comfortable beds, and the neat design of the cabin. I was very pleased and the price was fair. The drive up the mountain to the cabin is fun and was a big talk with us. The security guard at the base of the mountain was funny and sweet. She said that they regularly drive the roads to monitor. What I didn’t realize about this cabin however is it did not have a washer/dryer. This presented a serious frustration as there was not adequate towels/wash cloths. The shower head needs replacing. I wouldn’t plan for someone to sleep on the couch bed as it is thin and uncomfortable. The contact with Jackson did drop off towels at my request the next day. Despite the negatives, I would come again!

Great Getaway
We had a great experience here! It was cozy and clean! To give some advice before you come, the oven cooks faster than we had expected; once we noticed we didn’t have any troubles after that. We also didn’t have enough towels for the hot tub, so make sure you bring beach towels to use outside. We also stayed during the winter months and since it’s off the beaten path it was a bit scary going in and out during the bad weather. However, it’s a nice, quiet location on the backside of the mountain! The management company was very kind and helpful as well. This was a short trip for us, but we will be back in the future!

Better than advertised
I didn’t know what to expect because our last cabin stay was so good. This cabin far exceeded our expectations. It had plenty of room and was better than advertised. It had a creek that ran next to the cabin and the views were beautiful secluded Mountain Views. The hot tub was clean, warm and in good working order. The cabin was very clean and the linens smelled fresh and inviting. The beds were so comfortable! I didn’t want to leave. They had everything you would need for your stay from linens to kitchen appliances. They even had toys and such for small children if you are traveling with the family. The wrap around porch made the cabin have true southern comfort. The decorations were adorable and matched the scenery well. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

Good Time!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is set in between two hills with a stream running along side of the property. There are other houses within view but for the most part we felt fairly secluded. The place is very well lit and was fairly easy to find in the dark... just keep going down the road and you pretty much run right into the driveway. The inside and outside were clean, the place felt like home. We went into town a few times to walk the trails. It's roughly a 30 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg but a fairly easy drive. Once we returned the hot tub was very inviting and relaxing. Like others mentioned we did see a bear one night... we heard him first grunting at us and used our flashlight to find him/her standing roughly 30-40 yards up the hill. Not our first bear encounter but definitely the first at night that close to us. All in all, we had a great trip and would definitely stay here again!!

Such a relaxing time! Just what we needed!!!
No complaints! Thank you so much!!
Word of warning for future renters, the road to the house gets very narrow and steep during the last stretch so be careful if you go when it’s icy/snowy! Also the oven cooks really quickly so check your dinner as it bakes lol.

Cozy Mountain Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was very quiet and private. The yard was nice for our dogs to be able to play and go potty but make sure if you take your dog, don’t just let them run out.... there are bears all around the neighborhood! It was so neat to see them driving up the mountain. Thankfully we didn’t see any at the actual house but the closest one was maybe 2 minutes away. The hot tub was nice, clean and stayed hot. The grill was very clean and worked well. There were plenty of dishes for us to use and we brought our own paper towels and toilet paper. There are a few things I could suggest to management: the downstairs bed is very uncomfortable, please consider replacing! The shower head is broken but works. It felt like we were being hosed down with a water hose! The water stayed hot though so that was great. There’s no dishwasher or washer and dryer, which wasn’t a big deal for us but it would have been nice to have. Overall GREAT stay! Thank you!

Great secluded mountain cabin
Great cabin in the woods with all the amenities. If they could somehow fix the address on their site to take you up the correct side of the mountain this would be a 5 star for sure. Once we got the correct directions everything else was great!

Cabin vacation in Deerpark area
Floors were squeaky and disturbed guest in room located below. No washer and dryer. No kitchen dishwasher. This wasn’t a problem for me , but maybe for a family. When oven is used , smoke alarm goes off at smallest amount of heat detection. This was a little annoying. Two burners on top of stove don’t heat up. Hot tub located a little to close to wooded area of back porch. The level was even with wooded grounds, not much protection from wild life visitors. Woke up first morning and a bobcat had walked on railing and hot tub cover. I definitely only used it in daylight , which was a little disappointing. The property was nice but in some cases inconvenient compared to others I have stayed at. Don’t know how but I overlooked the fact it had no fireplace or fire pit as alternative ambiance. Did enjoy our time. We did see a lot of wildlife and came home to turkeys and a huge bear in driveway about 6:30 pm.

Major Mistake
The pictures do not convey the true nature of the property and the directions do NOT take you to the address!
The place was disgusting. If not for the cost, I would have left and gone to a motel! Given the state of the cabin interior, I was glad I brought the dog's blanket as that is what we slept on as it was cleaner. YES we slept on the DOG's BLANKET! The carpet, bed and couches were filthy with food crumbs and mold. The bath was nasty and there hadn't been a duster present in the cabin for quite some time.
Outside, no garbage cans and the outside lights did not work or were burned out without being replaced! Garbage, saw horses, the hose strewn about. The land is obviously ignored.
If this is the general state of property Home Away manages, this will be the first and last time I use Home Away!

Overall Great Get Away!
Property was amazing! Just had some issues with the check in process.. had to call multiple times for different reasons. Had random transactions taken from my account that still have not been given back due to this booking throughout Homeaway. Also, the address you search can take you 2 different ways where on leads you to a dead end asking you to walk through the woods to get there and another reason for calling was because I was given the wrong codes to get in. However, the cabin was amazing and we had no issues! Baby playard and gate came In handy! The WiFi is outstandingly awesome! Everything loads really fast. Just overall wish the check in process was better and transactions that we’re taken out could please be replaced since they had nothing to do with the cabin.
