About this apartment rental

Our Villa is located in Building 28 at The Ridge. It is one of the 2 best located of the 29 buildings at The Ridge. The Villa has 2-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms and everything including access to the Villa is ground level. The master bedroom has a king size bed (with the same mattress found at the Ritz Carlton) with an adjacent private enclosed lanai. You can hear the waves crash as you fall asleep each night. The Villa has been renovated and is beautiful in every respect. Both bedrooms and the living room have high-definition, flat-screen televisions. The living room also has a DVR. There is a large wrap-around balcony off of the living room which affords world-class views of Molokai, the beaches, the Bay Course, the Plantation Course, the Ritz-Carlton and the West Maui Mountains. We offer free long-distance calling (within the US) and also free wifi internet access. Please take a look at the video as well as the still photographs.

It is perfectly situated within the resort. The walk to the Kapalua Beach is under 5 minutes. As well, you can easily walk to D.T. Fleming's beach, Napili Bay and Oneloa Bay. The Kapalua Resort offers a free shuttle throughout. The snorkeling and diving is superb.

For golf, the Kapalua Resort has two 18-hole courses. The Bay Course and also the world-famous Plantation that is a challenge for even the best golfers. The Plantation is the home of the PGA's Sentry (formerly Mercedes Benz) Tournament of Champions and The Bay Course was the home of the Kapalua LPGA Classic. The Bay Course is scheduled for a complete renovation starting approximately in April 2025. AS A GUEST OF MY VILLA, I CAN PASS ALONG TO YOU THE RESORT RATE WHICH WILL SAVE YOU APPROXIMATELY $50 PER PLAYER ON THE PLANTATION COURSE AND $25 PER PLAYER AT THE BAY COURSE. IF YOU ARE A GOLFER AND WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THESE SPECIALS, DON'T FORGET TO ASK ME.

The Kapalua Tennis Club is also a very short walk from our Villa. There is a community pool available immediately outside and in the pool area are gas grills for cooking.

The Kapalua Resort has 100 miles of trails planned from the mountain ridge to the coastline for walking, hiking and horseback riding. You'll find trails for all hikers and they weave a diverse tapestry throughout the resort's land holdings. The Coastal Trail offers a unique chance to wander along the coast through different terrains. We think it is a great way to start a morning.

All in all, this offers a great value for a memorable vacation. Don't pay the high prices from the Kapalua Villas or other rental pools. This is the EXACT same unit as they offer at a fraction of their charges. The Villa will be clean when you arrive and cleaned when you leave. If you would like additional cleaning, it is available at an extra cost.

There is a reason why Kapalua is world famous. It is a gorgeous spot and one that all ages will enjoy.

We loved the condo. Peter was very responsive. There was an issue with AC and he had someone come take care of it quickly. Condo is in perfect location, clean, quiet with spectaular views of ocean. Few minutes walk to beach. Kitchen well stocked with cooking gear. Stayed with family of four adults and plenty of room for all. Would absolutely stay again. Oneola

This is such a lovely property. Nicely decorated and comfortable with a full kitchen and laundry. Very spacious. It has a quiet secluded feel and absolutely breathtaking views just from the back balcony. A perfect way to wake up and enjoy a cup of Kona coffee! Close walking distance from restaurants and shops and the beach. We've stayed at resorts before, but there is a certain freedom to staying in a rental property. I'd highly recommend this place in the future. Just breathtaking.

The host was very easy to communicate with. The place is amazing, very spacious, great amenities and the balcony is the gem of the property. The views are unreal, you can watch surfers all say and whales all day. If you have a great camera, you are into video and imaging, bring your gear and sit on this balcony, you wont be disappointed, we got great shots of whales breaching and surfers doing their thing. Truly impressive property grounds as well.

We enjoyed 4 days at this wonderful condo in Kapalua. Everything was clean and high quality, as described in the listing. Our only hangups revolved around communication with the owner...he never responded on our request for a late checkout (8 days notice) to let our infant get a full nap in.

Great location to be able to walk to all our favorite spots in Napili and Kapalua. Ideal condo location for the pool and barbecue common area. There were a few snafus however the homeowner was available easily and responded quickly and had everything taken care of in timely manner.

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful condo in Kapalua. We chose to stay here at the end of our trip to Hawaii and were thrilled by all the beach options so close to this home. We spent most of our time snorkeling on Kapalua Beach or walking/boogie boarding on nearby D.T. Fleming Beach Park. The close proximity to stores (and coffee) at Napili Plaza was very helpful. As for the home, it was expansive, had a gorgeous view, and a floor plan that worked for our family of four, which includes two children under the age of 12. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

The house is spacious and the shuttle bus is great. We use the shuttle bus to the beaches to snorkel almost everyday, and saw lots of fish, turtles, and even a shark!

Unit was fine. Fantastic views. Kitchen well equipped. Beds were just ok. Also the unit reeked of strong bug spray....rally knocked you over. We probably followed a scheduled bug spray service. Had a little trouble gaining entry and making contact with owner but it eventually got resolved.

Some of the most amazing views. It was breezy all the time during our stay up there, but wasn’t a problem for us. Very clean and was everything as advertised! Internet connection was not good, but we spent very little time in the villa and didn’t need it. Really don’t need to add anything else. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing place, but better suited for a family with kids

We loved this place very much. It was beautiful, the views were amazing. Watching the sunrises and whale watching from the lanai was devine. There was lots of places to walk to. I will say that there was only one large bed in the main bedroom. I believe there was a pull out bed in the living room but we never used it. The second bedroom had two squeaky twins so not suitable for another adult couple (we pulled the mattresses off the box springs and laid them on the floor instead). There were also security lights that turned off at 2am (totally great for people coming late), but because the shades covering the window in the second bedroom were broken we had to wedge a full towel in the window to cover the light at night. Sprinklers right outside the second bedroom went off at 230am one night and totally woke me up and caught me off guard (I actually thought we were in a crazy rain storm). The kitchen was amazing and very stocked, which was greatly appreciated. The telescope that was there was perfect for whale watching. Would love to come back to this place but only if I convince my other adult friends to take the squeaky twins so I can get the main bedroom.
