A family of four adults spent four nights in this welcoming home that had everything we needed. Emus and kangaroos grazed on a reserve area to the rear of the home morning and night, and bird life abounded.
We were very happy with our stay and could not fault the home and the amenities provided.

An eclectic and rustic house with serious beach vibes, this house was perfect for our stay at Marion Bay. The highlight was the back deck & garden which was full of birds and lizards. We were even treated to a visit from an old man emu and his six chicks! What a treat!

Quiet location, good for relaxation.
Seaside decor theme overdone and getting tired.
Didn't appreciate the gardener arriving mid-stay to spray poison on the weeds or the cleaner arriving a day early because she got the dates wrong.
Unless you like overpriced and poorly cooked pub food, make sure that you bring enough supplies to cover your stay.

Highly recommend this very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped house. It is very close to the beach and the Innes National Park. The view over the back reserve is lovely.

Jessica and Ryan's home was beautifully presented and clean. Check-in was easy and all basic amenities were provided. Quiet neighbourhood, neat furnishings, and 3 min drive to the local store. Front garden provides nice privacy for bedrooms. Some mozzies in the house, but not too bothersome. You can open up all windows for good cross ventilation in the living area. Welcome chocolates were a nice treat. Thank you for a nice stay, we really enjoyed Marion Bay!

Great week.
This property was great. Wifi Netflix handy. Beautiful deck to relax on. Good fire place. Best I could bring my old dog a 13yo Rottweiler girl who likes a walk in the morning likes to sleep most of the day then likes to watch television with her family. Finding a place that allows this is fantastic. Had great contact with the hosts . I thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautifully presented comfy stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftaway. House was presented exactly as pictured and advised. Wi-Fi was such an added bonus especially with no Vodafone reception in Marion Bay.
We travelled with a 2yr old and 4yr old, was plenty to keep them entertained and tonnes of exploring in the reserve out back, we spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing in the huge comfy hammock.
Only comments would be that although there was a mop there were no cleaning products for the floors or disinfectant for the toilet and only one chux cloth and a surface spray for cleaning everything. We stayed 5 nights with 2 little boys and the out back dirt and mud so wouldve been good to have something provided amd more cloths so why didnt have to buy from the general store which is not cheap (which is to be expected) apart from that we loved it and would happily recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Highly recommended, relaxing and peaceful surrounds
Our family (including our dog) really enjoyed our stay at your property. The house is stunning with the old jetty pylons, and the private decked veranda that backs onto a lovely garden and conservation area; it was so easy to relax into the super comfortable hammock! The home had a well stocked games cupboard, (the brain teaser puzzles were good for a challenge), and the interior decorating was lovely. We had everything we needed, the air-con worked well, showers were good etc. It was only a short walk to the gorgeous beach, which was perfect. The chocolates on the beds and bottle of champagne in the fridge was a lovely touch, thank you. We’re definitely keen to stay again, but hopefully for a bit longer next time. 👍

Great holiday house and location
We had such a great time at Ryan and Jess’ place. Well set up with a good kitchen, living space and superb deck. The deck (& master bedroom) looks out onto a garden of natives full of birds.
The big open space beyond was good for our kids (when we weren’t at the beach).
Marion Bay is spoiled for choice - no matter the wind you’re minutes from a sheltered beach. The tavern does good food and the general store has all your supplies.
Enjoy!

Weekend away
Great location for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful national park nearby. Nice and homely property which had plenty of room to accomodate for either a couple or family. Nice log fire and heating/cooling. Would recommend for others interested in staying in Marion Bay. Was nice to be able to take my housetrained fur baby.
