Lovely! Our hosts are so sweet! Everything about this place a “home away from home”.

This is a cute apartment above a garage, right on the water and right in town! Win win!! We will definitely be back

This is the third Summer that we have stayed in this rental. It is close to town, yet feels like you have a lot of privacy. It's just as described on the VRBO site. The owners were easy to reach and always helpful when we contacted them. We hope to return next summer.

We enjoyed the lake view ! Watching boats and seeing Afew planes taking off ! We were there over 4th of July fantastic fireworks! Walking distance to restaurants

We had a great time staying here. Beautiful view from the main window, clean open place. We enjoyed walking through Main Street everyday. Puzzling and reading on rainy days. Our pup loved staying here too!

The accommodations were exactly as advertised and more than sufficient for our needs. The location is perfect for exploring all that the Rangeley area has to offer. The hostess was very accessible and accommodating with a couple minor issues we experienced. We had a lovely stay and hope to return, thank you!

We had a fantastic time in this rental. It's the perfect location - on the lake, so easy to get out fishing - and close to town, so we can walk to many places. We definitely would rent this apartment in the future.

Great waterfront apartment with beautiful view of the lake and a 5 min walk to restaurants and shops in the village. Whether your interest is hiking, boating, fishing, sightseeing or sitting on the dock reading, this place offers it all.
Carol and Curtis are great hosts and will provide plenty of local information and history to make your stay complete.

Although this was not our first time in Rangeley, it was the first time with our boat at the lake. Carol provided an all around amazing experience from the upfront communications, check-in process, and ensuring that once settled we had all that we needed. The apartment and dock exceeded our expectations and being in center of town we enjoyed a week without driving (huge plus for us)! We’ve already booked our next trip with Carol and truly rate this our best VRBO experience to date

Beautiful clean property on the lake. The windows in the living room will be used as your entertainment as you watch the lake all day. It's comfy and reminiscent of a cabin. I really enjoyed my stay and the hosts are great.

We loved our stay. The views from the living room were superb. We watched the Loons for hours. This oversized 1bedroom apartment is perfect for 4 people with one queen bed and a day bed with two single beds. Unit was very clean and as described. We were able to bring our one well behaved dog for an additional fee. Spent hours reading on the dock. You can swim/float out front or swim at Rangeley town dock. Almost everything is in walking distance. FYI there is no tv or WiFi (which my 9 year old was not impressed with) but it was excellent to limit screen time and could always use personal hotspot if needed. Carol (our host) was so friendly and accommodating, helped us with every question. We hope to visit again! ❤️

The property was clean and well equipped. The main feature was the dock on the water which we used frequently. A quick walk to the public park and beach, with a boat launch, as well to shopping and restaurants downtown. A good home base to strike out from for hiking and exploring.

This was the cleanest VRBO property I have ever seen! We had a delightful time!

We were more than pleased with the property super cute with all amenities needed (even sheets, might read up on ME & it’s Wildlife-Human issues) as Mid-Westners never being to ME before it’s a great bit of advice to do. We had a wonderful time as Rangeley, ME is situated about 2 & 1/2 hrs from Bangor where we flew into & only 3 & 1/2 hrs from Montreal if u want to venture over to Canada. We also visited Bar Harbor which was only an hr from Bangor. Highly recommend this cabin & town.

The boathouse is a 2nd floor apartment right by the lake and walking distance from the small but quaint town of Rangeley. The apartment is nothing fancy but very clean and well equipped (no AC but nice cross drafts keep it cool). Owners are affable and respectful. We brought our dog and our boat and it was very nice to have a dock a few steps from the apartment. We have two suggestions for improvement, one of which seems to be planned for: (1) A large window to the lake. The apartment could have a great view... except that there are only 2 tiny windows on the side that faces the lake. The owner told us they will add a picture window with side windows for ventilation in the Fall -- that would be a great plus. (2) Other reviewers noted that there is some traffic in and out the dock, given that the owners live in the lake's island and use the dock almost daily to collect friends, workers or run errands. There were several pickup trucks parked in the property during our week there. The privacy issue did not bother us because everybody was nice and respectful, but our suggestion is to have people park in a way that they minimize the obstruction of the view and access to the lake. It's such a great view that the sight of pick up trucks undermines the beauty of the place. Overall, a very nice experience.

You can walk to everything yet still private, Perfect ! My only two wishes would have been wi-fi and a TV but I watched a movie on my laptop through my hotspot so all wasn’t lost for my son!

My son and I arrived Friday evening of an unseasonably cold weekend. The apartment was everything it was advertised to be and then some. Carol was kind enough to supply towels and sheets as we were travelling from Ontario. The place was spotless and very well equipped. It was a pleasure to met Carol and Robert Saturday morning when they stopped by to make sure we had heat (other relatives weren't so lucky) The apartment was ideally located so we could walk anywhere in town. Rangeley has the nicest people! Thank for a great stay

Splendid! Relaxing, clean, and convenient
Carol was wonderful to work with. We had everything we needed to have a super comfortable, quiet, and scenic stay only footsteps from a few great eateries. It was a no hassle experience. Modern ammenities (minus the TV which wasn’t missed), comfy bed, warm shower, decent cookware, nicely insulated, lodge type construction, and lots of open view. We will surely be back!! Thank you.

Sparkling clean, bright, ideal location on Rangeley Lake, ME
The condo was recently remodeled in pine siding and bead board. Everything was comfortable and it was well equipped. There is a beautiful view out the west windows overlooking Rangeley Lake. If there is anything the condo lacks, it is a small balcony you could step out onto and enjoy the air from the lake, the wind, and a beautiful sunset!!

As Advertised! Beautiful Place
If you are looking to relax this is the place to do it. Just a short walk from shops and good food. It was very clean, bright, comfortable and had all the little things you need to make it feel like home. We will be back! Thank you very much!!

Perfect!
We had a very relaxing time at this rental. We really couldn’t ask for more. Lake front, couple minute walk to downtown, very clean and cozy apartment, and we got to bring our small dog. We caught salmon and trout, visited Smalls Falls and hiked Bald Mountain. Our only complaint is we didn’t stay long enough. I highly recommend staying here, it is a fantastic location!

Wonderful
We had a great time, beautiful, scenic setting. Booked to see the meteor shower with limited (or no) light pollution, we were not disappointed!!! Watching the meteor shower on the dock while listening to the loons, amazing! We will be be back, thank you!

Great value and convenient location.
Our family (4 & 1 year olds) had a very enjoyable stay here. This rental is a hidden gem that we luckily stumbled upon. Being able to walk to all destinations in town made things extremely convenient. Apartment is very clean and well kept. Full kitchen a huge plus with great views down the lake. I would caution that there is an additional dock slip fee if you intend to bring a boat, which unfortunately caught us by surprise.I was dissapointed to find this to be the case, but the owners did work with me to allow us to pull the boat up on shore in order to avoid this fee. Carol was very easy to correspond with, and also accommodated an earlier check-in time ( after what seemed to be a home-away hlitch). There is a fair amount of coming and going in front of the rental so not 100% private by any means, but everyone passing through seemed to be very respectful of the fact we were there. Overall, a really nice apartment in a beautiful waterfront setting in downtown Rangeley, with some very minimal trade-offs. Would absolutely rent again for the value it offers our family. Highly recommend!

Perfect!
We have been going to Rangeley for a family reunion for years! This lakefromt house was a hidden treasure. Tucked away, yet right in town. The waterfront dock was perfect and peaceful! The house had all the amenities needed and was very clean. We will definitely be back!

Perfection
Perfection, at least for the two of us. The opposite of a dark, musty cabin, this bright and cheerful pied-a-terre in Rangeley, Maine met all our needs. Close to the center of town, steps from the lake, adjacent to town landing and beach, available dock for boat, dog-friendly, clean, modern, with well-equipped kitchen, spectacular view, nice hosts. We were there for eight days (with some rain) and found plenty to do in the area. There are hikes, museums, restaurants, a decent supermarket, a wonderful fish monger who parks his truck at the head of the driveway on Thursdays and Saturdays with divinely fresh fish and shellfish. We had fun circumnavigating Rangeley Lake and visiting the plethora of nearby lakes and ponds— Mooselookmeguntic, Cupsuptic, Flagstaff, Aziscohos. We were concerned that Rangeley would be raucous and crowded in mid-July, but it was not, just a friendly, welcoming little Maine town. Like I said, perfection.

Couldnt be better. 100%
Everything about this wonderful fresh comfortable place is good. Fresh knotty pine warmly surrounds walls ceilings and clear pine floors all blond and new.
Kitchen has everything.
Total privacy sits right on the lake with great window water views.just blocks from the center of town.

A beautiful place
This newly made apartment was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed looking out the big window overlooking the Lake with its early morning fog and the birds flying into view out of the mist. By the time we got back from early breakfast, the fog had lifted, the sun was out and we could see all the bird activity on the lake.
All the very friendly shop owners and restaurant people knew the owners and the history of their beautiful island in the middle of the lake. We were just sorry Carol and Robert had left for the season, so we did not meet them or have a tour of their Island and its gardens. We did enjoy touring all the villages and back mountain roads in a 40 mile radius of "home" and visiting with the real Maine people.
