The Space:
Echo Point Lake House is a large one level house on Lake Hamilton that has been recently updated. It is located in the popular 7 South area and is close to restaurants, a grocery store, and Hot Springs National Park attractions. The house is on a large point right on the lake in a quiet neighborhood and has a nice flat private backyard. It is located approximately 10-15 minutes from historic downtown Hot Springs, Bathouse Row and Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

This was by far the best, most equipped, stocked vacation home we have ever stayed!! The house was clean, in a great location, and there was more than enough room for our family! The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. She responded back to emails very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

The lake is great, we loved swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking around the islands and in the cove. The house location was great for that. We also boated near the house and had a great time.

Loved the location and set up of the house. The beds were comfortable and sleeping arrangements were great. We loved having 2 living rooms with t.v.s. Kitchen is well-stocked. However, the house is older and the cabinets need redone or a deep cleaning. They are sticky to touch and smell musty. The house was clean but carpets are all stained and need replaced. The yard needs picked up, trash under deck and around trash cans. The wicker table on deck was full of junk that needs to be thrown out along with an open bottle of lighter fluid lying on top of it all. The top of the wicker table had big holes in it. The cushions are all faded and mildew stained from being left out in weather. The metal furniture set on deck has rust spots on the chairs. All the water toys that we found had holes in them. Some were thrown under deck and so covered in mud and dirt that we didn’t even mess with them, they were just eyesores to look at. Outdoor balls we’re laying around and all damaged from weather. The trash cans were completely full when we arrived and grass needed cut but these needs were addressed immediately. The house could use some touch up paint, lots of marks and dirt around that make it seem dirty. The broom was old, bristles were all bent and needed replaced, as well. Overall, we had a good stay. Maybe if the pictures were updated with the worn furniture instead of new furniture, my expectations would not have been so high.

The house was wonderful and the view was awesome. It was very clean and provided anything you would ever need. I would definitely recommend Echo Point to my friends and we would definitely go back.

We loved staying at this property. It was easy to access, great location on the lake, clean and well stocked with what we needed. Loved having 2 king bedrooms so 2 couples could each have a big bed. Our kids had plenty of room to play, games, great yard, and we loved hanging on the deck and grilling. The cove was so quiet and great for swimming with small kids. Laundry room was well stocked with brooms, vacuum, etc and lots of swim noodles and floats. The beds were so comfortable as well. TV had all the apps we needed for kids and to watch football. Super pleased with this place - we will be back!

Communication spotty and a bit confusing

We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion! All 10 of us had our own spaces. We loved the two family rooms since the kids took over one and the adults could have quieter conversations in the other. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Lake fun
Highly recommend staying at this property. On the lake but close to shopping and a grocery store! Kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies. We spent a lot of time on the covered dock, swimming and kayaking.

Clean, nice, spacious home with great view.
The property was very clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. The pictures did not do justice. Beautiful views from inside and outside the house. We have stayed in better coves but this cove was not bad just not the best compared to our past experiences. It is very quiet and has rules to follow to keep it that way. I would not recommend this home to young couples or parties who want to stay on porch late and cut up. Fortunately for us we go to bed early enough to follow the house rules.
Over all we had a great trip and the house was awesome.

Relaxing
Everything was great, the only negative comments were about the metal dining room chairs. We like to play card games and they were the most uncomfortable chairs for everyone.

Great place!
Great place! The house was just as described. It was very clean when we arrived. Even smelled very clean! It was well appointed and very comfortable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was close to town and easy to get to. I highly recommend this as a vacation stay.

Roomy house on a quiet cove
This house was great. Tons of space. We loved that it was so close to the water. It sits on a quiet cove. While I prefer less houses in the vicinity all the neighbors were quiet, and the water wasn’t busy with people flying by.

Nice lake house
The lake house was great, held a good size group. The kids had a great time jumping off the boat dock and swimming. Was very nice to sit out on the dock and relax. Good sized kitchen and space for everyone.

Convenience
The home was just as listed. We had a family get together with our kids and grand kids from Texas. We are from St. Louis so could not have been more convenient. Quiet neighborhood.

Spacious rental in quiet cove
This property was in a nice quiet cove which was safe and fun for the kids to swim in. There were 8 total in our group- 4 adults and 4 kids- we had plenty of room. The location is very close to a grocery store which was nice. We cooked in most nights with the charcoal grill. We did go to two restaurants by boat and they weren’t too far at all. The beds were comfy and the nicest part was that after a day in the lake there was plenty of hot water for all 8 people to shower. We also appreciated Netflix and Disney plus for the kids and a nice big washer and dryer. We will definitely be back!

Nice location
we enjoyed our stay here. It was on quiet road on a cove. Peaceful and relaxing. Just only a mile from main road, so access to activities easy. Checkin was simple and easy. I would return again.

Everything was nice we had a great stay we had kids and boats . So the area that the house is located worked well well for us. Not a of bad boat traffic so water was clam for the family to swim and play

Amazing lake vacation
This home was everything we were looking for in a safe (From COVID) family vacation. The kids had fun fishing from the dock and swimming in the quiet cove. We brought kayaks and we were able to paddle all over on the calm lake. The neighborhood was very quiet With the exception of the construction at the neighbors house. The yard was nice and flat, good for playing games. The driveway had plenty of room for parking. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for all and nice big bedrooms and beds for everyone. You could easily have many more people and still be comfortable. There was a grocery store and places to buy bait close by with very friendly staff. We felt comfortable because nearly everyone in the stores had Masks on. Also near by was Garvan woodland gardens. A must see botanical gardens. The kids loved the tree house and the ponds and waterfalls were beautiful. It was not too crowded so we could practice social distancing without problems. Julia was very easy to work with and answered questions promptly.

Family Getaway
We had a wonderful time! We were looking for somewhere safe to vacation as a family, and this provided a beautiful answer for us. The house has a nice lawn area In the backyard for family games, and a deck with a grill. The covered dock was the perfect spot to sit and fish, and my grandson caught a few. It was also a great place for swimming. We love the lake! We swam, fished, played games, and relaxed. The house is decorated with comfortable and attractive furniture. They have quite a few board games in the bonus room, which was nice. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need plus pantry space. That was great since there were ten of us and we ate all our meals at the house. Julia was also very responsive to questions. We had a fantastic, memorable stay, and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location on Hamilton.
We enjoyed family time, playing in the lake, riding Jet Skis, tubing, floating, swimming. Kids had a blast. The dock has the perfect amount of sun & shade and the yard was flat which is perfect for kiddos to play. The sleeping accommodations were great for 2 couples & 6 kids and very well decorated overall.
Cooking was challenging. Specifically missing a cheese grater, serving & stirring spoons, colander, enough dinner forks and a fly swatter.
Other than that it was wonderful!
Great vacation VRBO. Loved it.

Family Vacation
We had a good stay, despite all the crazy in this world now, with COVID 19. Julia was very prompt to attend to any issues we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Let me say that this property did not earn a 3 star because it wasn't a nice house. It is nicely decorated with all the bells and whistles of what is currently in vogue for décor. It sits on Lake Hamilton and has a beautiful, peaceful view with a very nice covered dock. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. Bedding was comfortable. What we initially thought was a yard full of dog poop turned out to be Canadian Geese using the yard for a rest stop. Julia, the proprietor was very responsive.
Herein lies the problem. The advertisement states it sleeps 12, has a fully equipped kitchen and family games among other things. There were 10 of us including 2 children under 6 for a family reunion that included guests from Germany. There are sleeping accommodations for 12 people but the house is not set up for 12 people.
The only dining table is a "bar table" in the kitchen with 4 stools that are almost as tall as the bar. There are 3 additional stool chairs in other areas of the house but the bar can only accommodate 6 comfortably. There is outdoor seating but the only deck light was a motion sensor light that would not stay on and turned off within a matter of seconds. We took most of our meals scattered between the table and the living area which had us worried about potentially damaging the furniture.
There were 3 towels, 2 hand towels and 3 washrags in each of the 2 bathrooms, most of which were dated and worn; for 10 people.
The kitchen had 10 incomplete place settings but there were no serving platters. The kitchen was stocked with minimal cookware but had plenty of serviceware. One set of serving bowels was provided. Four wine glasses were provided and the only staples were salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion powder and parmesan cheese.
There were no clocks anywhere in the house There was no "welcome" book with wifi passwords or local eateries, grocery/drug stores or attractions. No games were to be found.
When contacted, Julia was very apologetic and told us how to get into the cleaning closet to get more towels and had 6 children's games, 22 wine glasses and new towels sent the next morning as well as additional containers of seasoning spices. Unfortunately by the time she could get any of this to us we had purchased paper-goods and basic kitchens staples as well as adult games.
Again, while this place is asthetically nice, it is not set up for large groups or individuals who want to prepare meals inhouse.

Super nice home. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of parking for our boat and jet ski trailers too. We highly recommend this property.

perfect setting & perfect house = perfect weekend
We had a lovely weekend with family on Lake Hamilton, staying in this clean and comfortable home. The lake was in full view, and the deck and dock allowed us quick access for swimming and watching the sun set. Julie the owner was very prompt and thorough with responses . The neighbors were friendly. We had easy driving access to everything we needed to do in downtown Hot Springs . We will definitely be back !

Great Stay!
The pictures don't quite do this property justice. The house was spotless and very nicely decorated! The lake is right off the back porch and we were able to dock our rental boat there without problem. With two living areas, the home easily accommodated our large group. The wifi and A/C functioned without problem. The owner was readily available via message/text and was super accommodating. This was exactly what we needed during a difficult time. We can't recommend this property enough! Go! You won't be disappointed.

Nice Lake Home
The house was just as pictured. It was very clean and nicely stocked with everything you need for your stay. It had well stocked kitchen, that we used to cook meals. The outside deck overlooking the lake was nice to relax anytime of the day. Quiet neighborhood, all the neighbors were pleasant. My family and I enjoyed some nearby hiking trails. Memorable family weekend, will definitely return in the future. Thanks Julia for wonderful stay.
