Excelente opção de estadia próxima a Tobermory

Localização excelente a apenas 30 minutos de Tobermory. Cozinha completa para preparação de refeições. Quartos espaçosos.

Pequeno problema para acesso ao quarto devido à senha informada diferente da correta (prontamente resolvido pelo anfitrião Doug). Colchões afundados poderiam ser trocados.

There seemed to be much more for the tourist in Tobermory.

Comfy room in a nice house on a large plot.

Lions Head is a very small & quiet place, with only a couple of dining options. Nothing after 9pm that we found. Communication with the host was poor/slow, and the only reason we were able to enter our room at all (one hour after arrival and because the code provided to us didn’t work as it should’ve) was because another guest managed to contact the host via phone on our behalf. Also our toilet flush didn’t work; I messaged but nothing happened. I left some chocolate milk in the fridge, and it was removed within 18 hours; presumably by either a thief or an over-exuberant cleaner. The room had a fan only, and in July-2023 the nights were very warm (interestingly, the upper landing outside our room had chilly but noisy aircon).

Terrible! Owners don’t want to be in the business which showed at every turn and hence, they shouldn’t be.

Quaint, Serene setting

Room was not what was booked (had a queen bed and not a King). Although bathroom was exclusively for us, it was across the hall from our bedroom. Did not offer any breakfast as we purchased. Sounds (snoring) from adjacent room clearly heard. Hostess (Marlene) was most unwelcoming and off putting, and very unaccommodating. She ruined our experience with her super negative comments during our entire checking in process. Thank goodness we never saw her again.

Fantastic stay, my parents and family loved it.

Breakfast was not provided, but we had a kitchen to ourselves

Air-conditioning was off, we slept comfortably, but could have used a bit of cooling

A good quiet house. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful buildings and garden. Friendly staff.

Poor cell phone reception. We can connect to the WIFI, but the internet connection is unstable.

The house is around 125 year old and very clean with beautiful vintage furnitures. We loved staying there for two nights and Doug was very friendly and easy to talk.

Cute place...walls are too thin and there is a stale old odour when u walk in..

We got there a bit early and wanted to leave our car and walk around but couldnt find anyone to talk to to see if that was ok so came back at 4pm and had to end up calling to find out how to check in...the owner said he sent a txt but i had not recieved anything and that was the only conversation with the owner in the 2 whole days we stayed there.. no other interaction.very disappointing. Also didnt find out till after i booked no breakfast was included with our room so yet another disappointment...$370 for 2 nights midweek and no breakfast?

Excellent location and friendly host

We stayed in Room 4. I was ok with the single bed but my friend did not find the double bed comfortable. We enjoyed having the kitchen and the lounge. We had not watched cable for ages so we watched the news!

A Quiet Escape

There was lots of property where you could sit outside on the chairs. Very clean with friendly hosts.

Overall a charming and delightful comfortable stay.

Beautifully maintained accommodations with charm appeal. Lovely to be able to walk and enjoy scenery, waterfront and local resraurants/services. Welcoming and helpful hosts. The guest house provided all of the "little luxuries" to be able to easily prepare your own meals during your stay.

A little bit warm ... no air conditioning in guest house bedroom area. Small toiletries such as grooming or body wash as extras would be lovely compliment to the package (I.e. little soap shampoo etc)

All in all the experience was amazing. Definitely coming back in the future.

Location was excellent. Got a little lost on the way however Doug was very helpful in getting us there in one piece.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that the bed and pillow were too hard for my liking. Everything else was very enjoyable.

Great location

Well kept and great location. Can walk to water and nearby restaurants.

It was a ver nice bathroom but it was across the hall for room 2.
