My place was fully renovated with highest standards by our family construction company the year of 2018. My place is in walking distance to the city center , art and culture, restaurants and dining, parks, Acropolis, Plaka square, Monastiraki, Acropolis Museum, Parthenon and more others.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
The space
The apartment where you are about to stay is brand new and fully renovated recenlty with highest standards by our family construction company (Clever Constructions Co) and by the well-known architect Dimitris Moschos. The apartment is 74 square meters. It is located on the first floor and can be accessed by it’s elevator. A great house is more likely to provide a great experience; and that's what we aim for, especially when it comes to our holidays! Thus, no expenses have been spared in the materials and quality of work of our renovations, in order to ensure the exclusivity of our apartments; As you can see from the photos the flat is extremely luxury. There are hidden lightings everywhere in order to ensure a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere in the place. The flat has 2 bedrooms, 1 spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen and last an extremely spacious bathroom with amazing lightings. All mattresses are anatomical to offer a relaxing and a comfortable sleep to all guests. There is also an electrical heater radiator in the bathroom for having your towels hanged. The flat is ideal for up to 5 guests due to the two independently bedrooms. At the living room there is a big couch (purple) that can be also used as a bed for the 5th guest.
It is equipped with all necessary and luxury amenities such us a professional cooling and heating system (central heating and cooling for the entire place-all rooms have the ability to control independantly the temperature - a total of 42.000 btu). Extremely quiet when it is turned on. There are USB plugs to charge your electrical devises and a HDMI plug at the diner table to connect your laptop with the 45”inch TV.The internet connection is very fast and reliable in order to stream movies and watch youtube . There is also provided Netflix to all guests (logged in with my account) in case they want to stay in and relax by watching series or movies. Moreover, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry (washer), microwave, oven with kitchen hobs, Nespresso coffee machine, iron, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, 3 televisions, one 45' inch in the living room and two more 32' inch, one in each bedroom. All televisions are SMART technology so that you can plug your usb device to watch movies, listen to music or even watch Netflix-Youtube!. There is also a professional sound system in the living room (YAMAHA CD-DVD player with bluetooth connection) with 4 speakers fitted in the ceiling for perfect sounding at the living room and the kitchen, with external port available also to connect your device (iphone etc). You will also find speakers on the ceiling in each bedroom in order to connect your phone (via bluetooth) to listen to your own music while sleeping or reading your favourite book and last but not least 1 beautiful balcony with a sitting area where you can drink your coffee or have lunch, all necessities guaranteed to enhance your visit to Athens. The building is extremely quiet and it is located in a discreet neighborhood.
The apartment is fully furnished, with two double king size beds with anatomical mattresses and pillows (1.60m. width, 2.00 m. length.) one in each bedroom and a couch bed (purple) in the living room (2,60 length x0,95 width). All bed linens and towels are made from 100% cotton to ensure the best feeling. Also there is a safe box inside the closet in each bedroom so that you lock your important belongings such is your passport.
A fully equipped kitchen, with oven, microwave, kitchen hobs standard cooking equipment, cutlery, Nespresso coffee and filter machine, dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. At the kitchen you will also find a small planter box. It is air-conditioned by a professional cooling-heating system (total of 42.000 BTU), airy, with plenty of sunlight flowing in. Furthermore, the front balcony provides seating (ideal for a peaceful breakfast right next to the flowers and the Acropolis) The living room is spacious and cozy, with soft lighting providing a relaxed environment. In addition, hidden lighting creates an atmospheric twist in both bedrooms the living room and the toilet. Also included are the following: hairdryer, iron w/ ironing bed, laundry washer w/ drying loft, kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, vacuum cleaner, security alarm, security door, and plenty of storage space (closets). Upon request for families with small children a Crib is Available and a Baby chair also (upon request) can be provided without any extra charge.
-Free Wifi Internet access is provided to all guests.
-Recommendation leaflets and subway maps will be also available for you. Guests will have 24 hour access to any assistance needed by phone; also further guidance and services can be provided upon request. I will always be there to welcome you upon arrival and say goodbye upon check out in order to show you the apartment and give you the keys.
-Transportation can be arranged from and to the airport and of course whenever is needed! The apartment is also accessible by the Metro .
-The Acropolis is 10 mins. away, by foot; (950 m. away), and the Acropolis Museum is just a few minutes away (8 minutes), so is the Acropolis Metro station; the nearest Metro station (Fix) is 600m. away (7 min. walk). -Basic facilities such as supermarkets, pharmacy, police station, grocery stores are in the direct vicinity of the apartment; an informational leaflet with all exact locations and maps will be provided upon your arrival.
Furthermore, a wide variety of popular and highly praised Greek restaurants and pastry shops can be found nearby.
-Most Athens centre nightlife hotspots (such as Plaka, Thisseion, Monastiraki, Psyri, Gkazi and Kolonaki) can be directly reached by foot, Metro or bus-trolley.

The apartment was wonderful and as advertised. And in July, the air conditioner was wonderful! It’s located in a nice neighborhood just a short walk or metro ride to tourist sites. The host is very responsive and helpful! You can’t go wrong with this property.

We stayed for 3 days when we visited Athens. We walked tithe entire stay. I would say we were no more than 1.5 miles to everything you would want to see. We saw all the historical sites and had Dinner in Plaka most nights. The apartment met all our needs for our Family of 5. It was modern, comfortable and quaint. John, our host was very responsive and helpful. Although we arrived early, he allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment until it was ready.

Nice apartment located just outside major tourist zone so easy to walk to attractions but get to stay in a more authentic neighborhood. Quiet area with a nice little balcony to enjoy a cocktail in the evening or a coffee in the morning.
Speakers in the ceiling in the bedrooms great if you want to have some white noise or music while you sleep.
The host was great with recommendations, arranging cabs, and answering any questions quickly.

The apartment was amazing. Very modern and clean and had everything we needed. Our host was great and very prompt in answering questions and helping arrange transportation from our cruise and to our early morning flight. The place is on a quiet street but very close to anything you need --- shops, groceries, bars and restaurants. Short walk to the acropolis. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.

John was the best host ever, i ask him questions before our stay and he was always quick to answer even when i forgot about the time difference, he still answered me back. The flat was clean and just like he said. We went to local stores and all kinds of great place to eat close by. I wish I had more time to spend in Greece it is so beautiful. I highly recommend you get the service to and from the airport or the port, The driver John arrange for us was professional and on time. My sister and i felt safe walking to dinner each night. You must check out the local place just around the corner the food was excellent and after the meal they give you watermelon. We walk almost everywhere and for thing father away we did on off bus, i cant say enough about how wonderful the people of Greece were to us American

We had a great stay at this amazing apartment. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the start of the historical district. There are good restaurants (10 or more) within 3 short blocks. These local restaurants don’t always speak English as well as the more touristy ones in Placa but the cost is half as much.
The apartment itself is very nice and appears to be just about brand new in May 2024. The beds are very comfortable and my wife and I both have occasional back issues so this is something we pay attention to. We didn’t cook any meals so can’t comment on that but otherwise everything was very nice. The two bedrooms worked well for our family of four. We have twin 15 year old boys and they were able to share the bed no problem. Although the couch would also have worked for one of them.
As for the owner. John was fantastic. Very easy to communicate with and very responsive. He also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and to return us to the airport. It felt like VIP treatment as the driver held a sign with our names as it after we came out of customs.

We loved this apartment and would happily stay there again. Everything was clean. Super modern but still comfortable. It had everything you could hope for and more. The electric blackout shades were very cool. Great restaurants nearby. If I came back to Athens I would definitely stay here again. The host was also very nice and responded quickly when I had a question. Stayed with my husband and 18 yr old son and there was plenty of space for us.

Location was amazing!!!!! if you can walk you can walk to the Parthenon the Acropolis museum Monastraki Sqaure etc. Took us a bit to get our bearings on this. but we walked everywhere. Downside was there is some sort of sewage pipe issue so it smells a little like poo a lot if the window aren't open. There is no clothes Dryer as advertised and you cannot see the Parthenon from the anywhere as it appeared in the advertising. Beds were nice and we requested more towels the cleaning crew did not leave paper towels or additional garbage bags. The host however was very accommodating and responded to us quickly.

Excellent location with easy walks to great restaurants, activities, shopping and attractions. Taxis were also very reasonable. John was very responsive and helpful with all we needed and arranging transportation when needed. Only issue was with the hot water which was limited even when using the electric heater. Unfortunately we had little sun while in Athens so the solar heater for hot water was limited. It was difficult for three adults to manage at times and waiting until it heated in the am for 20 minutes or so was hard. Would give a 4.5 stars if possible. Nevertheless we would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your space.

This was the perfect location and accomodations for my husband and I. We spent two days in Athens before boarding a cruise ship for the Greek Islands. It was only a short walk from everything we wanted to see and do. John was the perfect host! He was always very responsive as well as quick to respond! He helped us arrange a pick up from the airport using the taxi driver he recommended. The taxi driver was there waiting at the airport for us holding a sign with our name on it as soon as we got through the passport inspection. I honestly don't know how we could have had a better location or travel experience with John's VRBO. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Really nice,clean and modern apartment. 15mins away from the main places in Athens. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Great communication too. The drive who he recommended who picked us up at the airport is very nice as well. Very happy with the stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately clean and modern apartment! Our host, John, was extremely helpful in his communication and his nearby restaurant recommendations, market day info, airport transfer arrangements, etc, were much appreciated! Walking in the Plaka neighbourhood and surrounding areas felt safe no matter the time of day or night and there are LOTS of nearby restaurants, bars, and coffee shops to choose from!

We loved our stay at Ioannis' place in Athens. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and safe, and a very close walk to all of the attractions. Ioannis had his driver pick us up from the airport and he gave us great tips on what to see and when and was just delightful and informative the whole way. Communication with Ioannis was excellent too...he gave us a ton of terrific recommendations for our stay in Athens as well as our later stay in Paros. The apartment is very comfortable and had everthing we needed. Made for a wonderful time in Athens.

Very good stay at Ioannis flat. Appartment is modern and clean and has sufficient spacre for 4 people. Good location (walking distance from the acropolis museum). The area is quiet and safe. I especially enjoyed taking my breakfast on the small balcony. I can only recommend Ioannis' appartment.

What a vacation in Athens! We highly recommend this apartment. We loved the apartment, it’s location and convenience to shopping, dining and local tourist attractions. The kids are still talking about the apartment and what features they want added to their rooms.The apartment is clean, modern and has a wonderful ambiance. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the walk to the Acropolis, Parthenon, prison of Socrates, Roman agora, etc… there are so many places to visit that are within walking distance. We enjoyed the local restaurants that were by the apartment and the late night walks home. John, the owner was great and answered all our questions thoroughly! He arranged to have us picked up by a nice taxi driver who gave us details of the area and sites as we went to the apartment. We plan on coming to Athens again and this will be our place of choice!

We had a lovely stay in this very modern apartment within easy walk to many attractions. Ioannis was extremely helpful with anything we needed. The neighbourhood felt very safe. Shopping was close by as well as several cafes and bars. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a place to stay if you want to be close to the Acropolis.

It would be my sincere wish that John had properties in each city my wife and I cruise from. He also went above and beyond in arranging all transportation for our stay in Athens. The transportation was provided by a very polite, prompt and engaging driver named John.

This apartment is all you could ask for in a happening and central location in Athens!!! It had everything it advertised and that you would need for a short stay in Greece. Would not recommend for more than 4 people but very Good.

Great property for two nights pre-cruise. John arranged for pick up at Athens airport. Small issue not having a large enough taxi for four adults plus bags. John was helpful in allowing us to store our luggage for the day so that we could continue to explore Athens prior to arrival at the cruise terminal. John is very responsive to messages and was most accomodating. I would not hesitate to stay again if I return to Athens.

We loved our stay - the apartment was in an ideal location and we enjoyed walking to all the top destinations and neighborhood restaurants. The apartment had all we needed and was perfect for travelers: laundry, full kitchen etc.

This was a nice place exactly as advertised. Ioannis was helpful with the booking and arranging our cab to the airport. Unexpected bonus, the cab driver continued our tour pointing out sites of interest and history along the way. I admit to being in travel mode at that point so it was nice to have a reminder that the vacation wasn’t over yet. Our only problem was minor-there were multiple key boxes outside the unit and even though the directions I received from VRBO said there were pictures attached, they weren’t there. Luckily the second key box I tried was the right one. It’s the one that doesn’t look like all the others. 😃

The property was beautifully renovated. The beds and bedding were virtually new, and super comfortable and the property was really quiet at night. We all had an amazing sleep. The owner was extremely responsive and really helpful. He organized a fantastic taxi driver for all of our outings, and made a reservation for us at a restaurant we were having trouble connecting with a table looking right at the Acropolis. Thanks.

This was a great property. Ioannis was great at answering every question I had. Arranging transportation, etc. This was my first trip across from the states and he always reassured me. Definitely glad that I booked the same Vrbo with Ioannis for my stay after our island excursions. My daughters loved this place as well.

This property has everything you need. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka area and very close to a grocery store. There is an elevator but we only used it to bring up and down the luggage. Communications with the host was excellent. He provided clear instructions to access the apartment as well as arranged taxi pickup at the airport. He also informed us about lockers where we could keep our luggage after checkout and arranged taxis for this as well.
Overall a perfect place to stay in Athens.
