The property was well presented and situated as advertised with a lovely garden. Before we arrived but after we had paid the full rental and could not cancel without forfeit we were requested to sign a 2 page contract written in French, not our first language. It stated that we agreed to a very large cash deposit against any future costs, electric, breakages, etc. We spoke to Nermean at Vrbo for a complete translation, which they could not provide. We told them that we would not be signing any contract in French only, nor would we carry a large amount of cash to and from France as a 'caution'. This was far more than we had ever been requested to pay before in our many years of travelling to France. On arrival, Mme reluctantly agreed that a much smaller amount of cash was acceptable. This unfortunate discussion was embarrassing to us and should not have been necessary. While our stay was fine, we are very dissatisfied with the way that Vrbo handled this matter.

Sommerurlaub am Meer
Wir haben eine schöne Woche in der Umgebung von Paimpol verbracht. Dafür ist das Ferienhaus gut gelegen. Strand und Boulangerie sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Umgebung bietet viel für Naturfreunde, wie die Steilküste oder die nahe Ile der Brehat.
Das Häuschen ist gemütlich, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer ist neu, die übrigen Räume könnten mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Der Garten ist schön und mit alten Bäumen bewachsen. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und waren viel draußen.

Un accueil très sympathique par la propriétaire de cette maison simple mais bien équipée pour passer de bonnes vacances.
La propriétaire nous a également de bonnes adresses et de nombreux conseils pour faire un maximum de visites, le sentier côtier est tout proche et permet de faire de jolies balades, mais une semaine c’est trop court, nous reviendrons c’est sûr.

Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise dans la maison de vacances meublée avec beaucoup de goût. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La patronne est très sympathique. De là, nous avons fait de nombreuses randonnées.

We spent two weeks in the comfortably furnished holiday home. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is a pleasure to cook in the bright kitchen, which is also equipped with enough crockery and cooking utensils.
The terrace, which is directly adjacent to the kitchen, is beautiful.
The sea is only a stone's throw away, but excursions into the surrounding area are also possible within a short drive. We really enjoyed our stay, the reception and contact with Françoise was really nice. If we ever end up in Brittany again, we can imagine spending our vacation here again. Très bon séjour
La maison est très mignonne et chaleureuse. Elle est aussi très calme, et les chambres sont plongées dans le noir, on y récupère bien ! Nous y avons séjourné en hiver, donc nous n'avons pas profité du jardin. C'est une bonnne base pour aller à la grève au bout de la route, et découvrir les environs.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen
Francoise war eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Alle Informationen waren verlässlich und ihre Tips zu Unternehmungen und Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung gut auf uns abgestimmt. Wir haben uns in ihrem freundlichen und hellen Haus nah an der Launaybucht sehr wohl gefühlt! Schwimmen war bei jeder Tide (manchmal eben mit etwas mehr 'Anlauf' bis zum Wasser:) möglich.
Wenn es uns wieder in diese Ecke der Bretagne verschlägt, kommen wir gerne wieder!

notre séjour dans cette maison a été très agréable. Tout est à proximité : la mer, les ballades via le GR 34, l'embarcadére pour l'île de de Bréhat, la très belle ville de Paimpol.
Mme CALMES a été une hôte très acceuillante. Le plus de la maison sa cuisine aux grandes baies vitrées donnant sur le jardin !

Séjour apaisant en bord de mer.
Une jolie maison à qql pas de la mer dans une impasse calme. Que du bonheur de pouvoir aller dans la baie à pied tout en étant à qql minutes de Paimpol en voiture. Emplacement absolument parfait et accès direct au GR. Maison individuelle en mode cocon pour notre séjour automnal, nous avons même mangé des châtaigne du jardin !
Françoise est très accueillante et arrangeante, nous recommandons. Merci

Ein schönes Häuschen mit Garten, ca 300m vom Kiesstrand entfernt. Zum Wohlfühlen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ploubazlanec ist auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Séjour formidable
Nous avons passé une semaine en été dans ce gîte avec nos deux enfants âgées de 4 et 2 ans. La maison est très propre et bien équipée. Elle se trouve dans un joli jardin près de la baie de Launay (5 minutes à pied). Pour les enfants il y a même des jouets et des livres. Aux alentours il y a beaucoup de choses à faire avec les enfants et la nature est merveilleuse!
La propriétaire est très serviable et gentille.
On aimerait bien revenir si c'est possible.

Great holidays
We had a very pleasant stay at the house - it is cosy and comfortable, very well equipped with anything you need. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach and access to the hiking trails. Francoise, the landlord, gave us some helpful tips on what to do and where to go. Overall, a definite recommendation!

Ruhe am Meer
Das Haus liegt in Laufweite zum Meer, die Straße endet in einer sehr schönen Bucht mit Steinstrand. Da kaum Autos dort fahren, hat man es ruhig. Der Garten ist wunderschön, man kann auf der Terrasse sitzen und das Grün genießen. In der Nähe ist die Anlegestelle zur Ile de Brehat und auch nach Paimpol ist es nicht weit. Es gibt Bäcker fürs Frühstück und Restaurants, um essen zu gehen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist prima. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

La maison bien agencé avec un beau jardin autour est a proximité immédiate de la plage de galets et sable (a marée basse) . Le gr34 passe tout près et permet de rejoindre le port d embarquement de l île de Brehat . Superbe vacances !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille (2 enfants en bas âge) dans cette maison maison bien décorée dans laquelle ont se sent vite comme chez soi.
La jolie plage de galets est accessible à pieds (5 min). L'embarcadère pour Bréhat est également à proximité (en voiture).
La localisation permet de rayonner dans la région où il y a tant de choses à faire.
Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette location.

Ein individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man eventuell benötigen könnte, ruhig und in Meeresnähe gelegen, war für uns Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Unternehmungen wie Wanderungen auf Küstenpfaden (auch direkt vom Haus aus), Fahrt zur Ile de Brehat, nach Treguier, Gartenanlagen usw. (wir bekamen auch viele gute Tipps von unserer Vermieterin, die uns sehr freundlich empfangen hat), so dass wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der herrlichen Landschaft der Bretagne erleben konnten.
