About this house rental
Our single story beach house is recently redecorated and includes a large, brand new heated pool. The home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and only a short, straight walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast. The home includes a large covered back porch which overlooks the pool and newly landscaped, fenced in yard. You will find that the home has every amenity from beach chairs and umbrellas to a well stocked kitchen. Just grab some flip flops and a bathing suit!
We are also walking distance from the free trolley that runs every twenty minutes up and down the 7 mile island, with stops all along the way. Jump on for shopping and sightseeing and restaurants in Holmes Beach, Bradington Beach, and Anna Maria! Try your hand at world renown tarpon fishing, go parasailing, paddle boarding or biking! Take a drive out to Sarasota and visit historic St. Armand's Circle for fine dining, nightlife and plenty of shopping. Tampa is an hour and a half away, and Orlando is also within driving distance in case you want to visit some theme parks while during your visit. Whether you are looking for a little adventure or just some relaxation, we have what you need for a fun Florida vacation in the sun!

This house such a delight to stay in during our Fourth of July vacation week! It is difficult to find small but updated homes like this on AMI. The covered back porch and pool area were our favorite, but really the house had everything we needed and more. It felt like much more like staying in someone’s well-cared-for home instead of in a bland, characterless vacation property. And in the perfect location for the beach and all the fun of AMI. We hope to come back soon!

Our family had a wonderful, memorable vacation. Everyone enjoyed the pool, especially our water logged children. Location was key. Host communication was seamless. Any minor things are insignificant and not worth mentioning. Would definitely recommend.

This is an old Florida home with some updates. It is comfy and “homey”. Short walk to the beach and a great pool! Katherine, the owner, is a delight. A great place to unwind, for sure.

This home is the perfect place for a family. The heated pool kept the kids occupied on the cooler days and it was easy to watch the children in the pool from anywhere in the house. This meant I could be doing laundry or prepping a meal while keeping an eye on the kiddos.
The furniture was comfortable, too, which is not always the case in rentals.
We will definitely be staying again!

My family and I visited 10/28/23-11/4-23 for a family vacation. We booked this property for being close to the beach, heated pool and it was cheaper than other properties. Unfortunately, this property had more negatives than positives. The positives were the short walk to the beach and the backyard with lights which had a covered patio that we ate at every meal. The negatives were no check in from the owners once we got there to see how things were going or if we needed anything, lack of communication from the owners, grill didn't work, TV didn't work which not the end of the world as we didn't go there to watch tv but would have been nice to watch a Halloween movie or two, pool was not heated as the listing said, the place overall was very dusty and did not look like it had been cleaned, the washer smelled very strongly of mildew so we ended up taking our clothes to a laundromat. Then there is the issues of the cockroaches that we found. At first it was only a couple which not the end of the world but then we had found one in a drawer with cooking utensils which prompted my husband to remove the drawer and that is where we found A LOT of dead ones. We had messaged the owners about them and the response we got back we didn't feel it was professional. We do not recommend this property nor will we rent it again.

The instructions seemed to contradict check-in time, in one place it said 4 pm, and in another, it said 6 pm. We had no problem getting to the house and got right in with the code given to us. The instructions seemed to be outdated, referring to masks that must be worn on Anna Maria Island. That should be revised. I saw a few wearing one. What seemed to be the master bedroom and bath, there was a pile of bed linens on the floor against the bed with a note saying "Xtra master quilt & shams"; the top bed sheet on the bed was all wrinkled and looked as though the bed had not been changed; in the bathroom, there was a basket presumably for used towel one.

Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. The kitchen had every utensil a chef would and abundant china and glassware. We were disappointed that there were no "lounge chairs" by the pool. We got by with the large tubes.
Katherine was very responsive when I contacted her to see if I had left 2 pairs of my glasses. In the meantime, I found them in my suitcase

The house has everything you need for a relaxing beach escape. You can walk less than 2 blocks to the beach or just enjoy the backyard pool. It's perfect for the family.

Our stay was amazing, property was clean, well organized, and full of fun. After an amazing day at the beach, this was the perfect place to relax the rest of the evening. Owner was amazing in the way the one small hiccup with the property and stayed in touch above and beyond to see that it was handled. Look forward to staying at this property again.

Due to Winter Freeze storm we were not able to visit FL. Airports closed until 27th in MI. Katherine did offer to rebook us in January/February. She was very responsive and seemed to care!

This place is the ultimate perfect vacation home! Large rooms through out, ample space for all of us. I especially appreciated how many essential items there were for us to use. Laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc.
The backyard is exactly how it appears. An absolute oasis! I can't say enough about the pool, sitting areas, bar, and our favorite game, JENGA! The night lighting is soo awesome! There is just too much to type to explain how wonderful this property is.

Great location with an incredible back patio and pool area. The house is well-stocked with housewares and most everything you need to enjoy the pool and beach. Katherine was very communicative leading up to and throughout our stay. We’d stay again!

Fantastic!! Blue skies and pleasant weather let us enjoy the fantastic pool. The location is so perfect for a short walk to the beach. The house has a lot of enjoyable amenities. It’s a place that we will continue to go to.

Great location! A very short block or so to the beach. The backyard with the pool was an oasis! We split our time between the pool and the beach. We spent most of our evenings playing games on the table on the covered patio- a little chilly in the evening while we were there so no evening swims. Enough space for the 6 of us. The kitchen was supplied well with all the needed items for cooking meals at home. Communication was fantastic- Katherine responded promptly. The only negative (and the host has no control over it)- the neighbor's pool filtration/pump was extremely loud- it didn't sound like it was working properly- detracted a bit from the beautiful ambiance Katherine and Joe have set up in their backyard oasis.

Our family visited AMI for the 1st time ever in June of this year. We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Heaven!! We spent every night in the back yard by the pool and under the covered patio. The location of the house was perfect being only a block from the beach. We did rent a golf cart for the week but we walked to the beach a good bit too. There were plenty of beach chairs, beach and pool toys for the kids, and anything else you may need in the garage. We loved our stay so much that we have already booked again for next year! Can’t wait🌞

Comfortable house & backyard pool/patio
We truly enjoyed our time on AMI and this home was quite comfortable for us. We had a few minor issues but the owner was quick to communicate and make things right. Walking 1.5 blocks to the beach with a lovely pool in the backyard was the best of both worlds for our family.

Loved, loved, loved our stay here. The house and pool could not have been more perfect! The trees and shrubs and wooden gate in the back yard made the ABSOLUTE PERFECT backdrop for our pictures. We would definitely go back for another stay!

We hope to return next year!
The property was much more than we expected. It truly felt like a home away from home- from the home decor to the variety of ammenities available. I loved that the house was all on one level, and our family loved the backyard. We will be buying hammocks for our house now! The location is perfect with just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The owner checked on us (via message) and was very quick to respond to an issue we had with the door (just needed new batteries). I highly recommend and our our family can see our future vacations at this home!

Another Week of Blue Heaven
Our second stay at Blue Heaven, and again, it did not disappoint. The interior has been freshened with a new coat of paint, but the beautiful pool and covered patio continues to be the main attraction. Katherine is an outstanding host, and she is great about providing necessary information and responding to questions.
And yes, we’re already booked for next year. Thank You, Katherine!

This property lives up to it’s name. Perfect get away from the snow and cold. Heated pool makes Florida cold very bearable.

Perfectly situated within walking distance to lots of AMI’s best restaurants, and a mere 1.5 blocks from the beach, this house was the perfect home base for our Thanksgiving in paradise. What really made it special was the backyard oasis. The pool was a big hit for my boys, and we all loved enjoying our meal outside, especially at night with the fun lighting. Owner communication was on point leading up to and throughout our stay. Already planning our trip back! Thank you!
