The Estate consists of 'The Residence', with 5 bedrooms, a refreshing swimming pool, plus a full size tennis court. Just a few minutes walk away is 'The Homestead', a large 4 bedroomed property. The Estate also has a cellar door and you can stroll to the fantastic Amandas on the Edge restaurant. Both of these properties are nestled in their own quiet secluded spot overlooking Rothbury Creek.
The property will sleep up to 29 guests between the Residence & Homestead and if you require accommodation for a larger number then there are also 2 two-bedroomed cottages available.
Windsors Edge Residence is a large 5 bedroom 2 bathroom home situated at the front of the Estate, with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor area to enjoy with company. It has a large kitchen and a huge dining room with space to seat 20, plus a lovely music room with open fire.
Windsors Edge Homestead is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom homestead located approximately 300 metres from the Residence, next to the best Shiraz vines, with lovely views and with total privacy assured. The Homestead has a huge en-suite with spa within the master bedroom and spacious kitchen, dining and living areas.
Without leaving the Estate you can relax on your private verandah with a glass of wine and enjoy the views, have a refreshing swim and a game of tennis on the synthetic grass court. Finish your day with a tasting of some award winning wines at the cellar door, or perhaps dinner at Amanda's on the Edge...all in walking distance from your accommodation.

Windsor’s Edge is the perfect getaway for a large family/friend group. It was a cozy place to spend out time away.

We really loved how the accommodation was set up with a table long enough to seat all guests inside and out. Lots of space, with enough plates, cutlery, bedding and towels. It was a shame that the house was very untidy. All of the guests that stayed with me noticed different parts of the house being very dirty (e.g. showers were dusty/dirty, corners of the floor were also very dusty). It seems like after a guest leaves, the tables are wiped and that is all. Other than that, great location and plenty of room for a large group!

Great property for a range of age groups! Tennis space a great addition for ball games with outside seating for adult catching up and supervision! Comfortable bedding and well equipped kitchen for entertaining families We were also lucky with the weather !

Was very unhappy with the overall stay as the property was not well maintained or cleaned and there were faults the whole way through.

We had the place for a group of friends away for the weekend and it was perfect. Everything we needed, plenty of communal space but everyone also had their own room, pool was the perfect antidote to a few 35+ degree days

The properties were great for our large group family milestone birthdays celebration. Plenty of room inside and outside to get together, and well equipped kitchens. Good location not too far from anything the Hunter offers. The houses are about 500-600 meters apart, easy walking distance for most. Highly recommend Amanda’s Restaurant which is between the two houses - excellent food!

Wonderful get-away for large family group. Before arriving we believed that the two accommodation buildings were close together. Upon arrival, we discovered that this was not the case and were worried, but in the event it did not turn out to be a problem. It might be in the event of bad weather.

Family birthday celebration
Our family had a wonderful time at both the Residence and the Homestead despite the poor level of cleaning. The pool was a great hit as was the tennis. We virtually lived outside enjoying the scenery, the children loved the freedom of running with plenty of space and especially loved the seeing some kangaroos.
Disappointing was the poor cleaning in both houses, with cobwebs and filth around screen doors and a sticky table.

We enjoyed the place with beautiful landscape and morning sunrise... However it was one of those hot days, would have been better if the centralised AirCon served its purpose.... It was bit low from our end.

Windsors edge weekend
We had the 2 larger properties for a large group of friends. It was very hot so the pool was very useful. It was really relaxing. The large dining area and outdoor dining was perfect for us to share a meal. The kitchen has lots of cups, plates and cutlery but lacked cleaning materials. The properties ciuld do with good cleanout of dead insects but it didnt bother us. The beds were so comfy. Remember there is no wifi. Overall great for large groups.

We had a great stay at Windsors residence for my parents 80th birthday celebration.The property was perfect for a large group and in a great location.There are a few things I would raise about the upkeep and cleaning of the property though.The light on the main bathroom didnt work, there was no iron the be found, some of the pots in the kitchen were dirty in the cupboards and there were large spiderwebs everywhere on the outside of the windows. Yellow bin was half full when we arrived.Apart from those things we had a great time and would definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Windsors residence for my parents 80th birthday celebration.
The property was perfect for a large group and in a great location.

This was one of the best weekends of my life. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics and cooking utensils! Both houses (homestead and residence) were stunning and well maintained! Lovely place
After being upgraded from the homestead to the residence, it was lovely & clean on the inside and well & truly large enough for our group of 11 ladies, weekend away. The kitchen & bathrooms were well equipped and bedrooms were spacious enough. Apart from the below issues, it was a very enjoyable stay & nice & close to Bimbadgen Winery for day on the green.
Kieran was very helpful and wonderful throughout the whole booking process.
