This is the best VrBo we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in some nice ones. What makes this one stand out are all the little details- quality furniture, the super comfy mattress, the fluffy towels, great artwork to check out and fun books! The coffee bar items were very appreciated! Clear instructions are provided so everything goes smoothly.
You could move in tomorrow and this place has literally everything you would need! Kim was fantastic with communication prior and during our stay as needed. And being able to walk to some many fun places is perfect.
I HIGHLY recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Huston House. It was meticulously appointed with all the comforts of home in a Kentucky tradition. Kim was most attentive and communicative with an obvious desire to please. Friends joined us for a few days and they were most impressed as well. Location was perfect and we look forward to returning. Thank you!

Passing through on an annual trip. The Hustin house was perfect. Hit a distillery and brewery for dinner. Perfect location and size for us. A little tricky to find that back driveway but once around the block and we had it! Perfect.

We were four adults from Wisconsin who stayed three nights. We loved the house; very clean, wonderfully decorated, lovely furnishings, organized, well stocked and very comfortable bedrooms! Also loved the attached private outdoor area! Great walkable location. Excellent communication with the owner. We loved exploring beautiful Bardstown and the area. The bourbon distilleries were fantastic!!

Cottage in quaint part of town. All our party could say on entry was "cute, well done". Comfy, attractive, clean, everything one needs for stay in Bardstown. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and activities. Interior of cottage was immaculate with feeling of home. Kim was always available, yet left us to our own pace. Each said we want to return, only ting lacking was more time to explore ' The Bourbon Trail '

This is a great place to stay in Bardstown with friends to enjoy a long weekend visiting distilleries along the bourbon trail. Perfect for two couples to stay with separate bathroom and bedroom areas. Kim was super responsive and check in/out was seamless. I loved all the Kentucky history that was around you in every room. We enjoyed several restaurants in Bardstown for our dinner meals most within walking distance.

Perfectly located home; walkable to town and restaurants but quiet. Ample off street parking. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room listening to records! The little side patio was nice as well. The downstairs bathroom is not en suite but that wasn’t a problem as it is still privately situated.
We had a great time and would stay here again.

This property has a nice location…stylish decor…very clean…. We did not cook at all but the kitchen is nice so I am sure it would lend to cooking easily. Even though we never needed to communicate with the owners, it seemed as if we could easily.

We loved our stay at Huston House. It's so close to everything! We loved walking into town to go to shops and restaurants. It's right across from The Rickhouse and just a block and a half from a brewery, which were both great, but it's also just a block and a half from an amazing bakery! We were lined up every morning with the locals for their amazing donuts! I can't say enough good things about this property. We loved all of the extra touches reflecting Bourbon and horse country in the property.

My wife and I stayed with another couple. It was ideal for the 4 of us. Very clean, incredible location with all the amenities needed. Loved the Kentucky-themed decor throughout. Walkable to everything in downtown Bardstown and short drive to many of the Bourbon trail distilleries.
Kim was a great host and excellent communicator.
Definitely hope to return to this property in the future.
Thanks

This was just a short weekend stay for my husband and I. It was great. We didn’t really use the kitchen, but it looked well stocked. We walked to several restaurants in the morning and evening. It was a little too warm upstairs for us so we chose to sleep downstairs in the queen bed. It’s was very comfortable. Everything was provided much like a hotel. Perfect for a weekend or a longer stay. Would consider staying here again if back in the area.

Great location for walking in town and close proximity to the distilleries. The property was clean and Kim was a great host.

Wonderful experience staying at the Huston House. Right in the heart of downtown Bardstown, yet also peaceful. We enjoyed tours of Willett, Limestone Branch, and Bardstown Bourbon, and we also toured Godolphin and Claibourne Horse Farms in Versailles and Paris. For dinner, Toogie's Table is outstanding (we became regulars, it was that good). And, for lunch The Bar At Willett is outstanding (wish they were open for dinner). The Huston House was perfect to come back to after busy days, and we loved sipping our nightcap bourbon on the patio after dinner. Many interesting books and pictures in the house. We very much recommend this property.

3 Nights stay on the bourbon trail. Great little place and comparable in cost w 2 hotel rooms (for 2 couples) and tons more room and privacy. Nice, well appointed 2 bedrooms w den and nice kitchen area with all required knives / pots/ pans/ cutting board etc. Great little private outdoor sitting area w water feature and gas grill (We had a fabulous prime steak from Boones Butcher shop a few blocks away on the grill one evening) Walking distance to all the downtown Bardstown area shops. Centrally located for a multitude of distilleries on the bourbon trail.

This property was the perfect place to rest after our long trip from the West coast. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We even enjoyed an evening in the side courtyard with the fountain. We walked into the small town and enjoyed the downtown restaurants. We were a short drive to many of the nearby distilleries where we had reservations. I wished we could have stayed longer. I highly reccomend.
