Be aware of certain details

Communication regarding check-in and location were excellent. Very well & safe access-controlled and easy to get in & out through gate and house.

Parking is very tight. Luckily I had a very small car, with a normal sized sedan it will be difficult and with an SUV most likely impossible to maneuver in the parking space. Breakfast is self-serve (all food is made available but you have to cook it yourself). That is fine but should be included in the advertising description. Rooms are on a second floor, with VERY narrow stairs. Some people will not be able to get up those stairs and it is very difficult to get up them with heavy and/or large luggage. Advertising of this place should include this as a warning.

The loft room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Mandy was very friendly and hospitable.

The stairs were a bit steep to the loft rooms.

Nothing to complain about - lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Hosts always available but never "in your face".

The room did not have an aircon, only a fan. This can be uncomfortable in high temperatures.

I really liked Vlei Lofts. Great couple as hosts, we had an interesting talk together. Nice spacious room, Wifi, hot shower, self-made breakfast included with everything you could wish for, great view from the veranda, secure parking, good restaurants in the nearby mall and the beach a short drive away. I would come back anytime, recommended!

Pleasant.

Lovely hosts, incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs. Clean and private rooms, common room looks out to a scenic vlei which distracts from the city feel. Location is central to most Cape Town activities which was perfect. The “make your own breakfast” facility was cleverly thought out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable, clean and cosy stay.

For my needs the location was perfect. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I was upgraded to a room with a lovely view on the vlei which I really appreciated. The bed, pillows and bedding were super comfy and the towels soft and fluffy. WiFi was excellent. I did not verify with the owner, but it looked like loadshedding did not influence the establishment. The host was friendly and instructions for going out and coming in, were clear. Very good variety for a continental breakfast and thank goodness....filter coffee! There were also chocolates and popcorn available, which I unfortunately only discovered in the morning. LOL.

No points subtracted, but the stairs to the rooms are quite something to master.
