Not COVID friendly renters
In short we would have cancelled this trip since the area was code orange. I tried to cancel once I was informed and the property manager said that they would only refund our money if they closed everything. The cleaning service was difficult, eating out was not easy, and the experience was a complete failure. We booked this trip before things went to level orange, so there should have been some level of tolerance for cancelling. Tells you everything you need to know about this renter in a COVID world.

Truly a first class establishment
The Timbers is the finest service establishment our family has seen. The accommodations are great, but the people make the place. The ski valet literally knows you by name and looks out for your kids. We will be back.

My husband and I and our three small children loved our stay at the Timbers BC this past December. The unit was in amazing condition and the services and amenities at the residence was top notch. The residence is ski in/ski out and all of the Ritz amenities are right next door. The shuttle to the village was an extra step for ski school but it was well run and came very often so not that big a deal at all. The entire experience from booking, our stay and checkout was flawless. We would definitely recommend Timbers to friends and family and cant wait to come back soon!

Awesome Colorado condo
Great property and staff! Ski in-out is easy for everyone, but it is not as convenient as Beaver Creek Village for smaller kids, especially if they take any group lessons. The ski valet made it so easy for our entire family, including my 14 and 11 year old daughters. Proximity to the Ritz restaurants, pool, spa etc. was fantastic. The concierge team was very personable and helpful with booking restaurants and excursions. The condo was very well appointed and spacious with twice daily housekeeping. The TV remote had some troubles, but they quickly fixed. It was definitely convenient to have a nice kitchen to prepare breakfast and snacks. We even enjoyed some quality family time in the small game room.

We have a 12 yo and twin 9 yo girls. Our condo was immaculate and the housekeeping was excellent everyday. The evening service cleans your lunch/dinner dishes and the kitchen had everything youd need. We used one roll away bed and the mattress was definitely old and saggy. Otherwise, the heated bathroom floors, bathrobes for all the kids and the warm accommodations were great!

Perfect ski condo
This was a perfect condo for our family of four. We rented a large, 3 bedroom unit and everything was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were roomy with Molton Brown products, lots of drawer/closet space, room for all the ski gear, and a well-appointed kitchen. As a selective, five-star luxury hotel family, we had no complaints. And the staff were so accommodating: extra linen change in a bedroom because we had visitors for a night -- no problem; tv remote not functioning -- fixed! The location cannot be beat, with ski shop at the property and ski in/out services, and access to all Ritz Carlton amenities including spa and gym. Great value, great property; we will be back!

Oustanding
This place is fabulous. Service is extraordinary. Ski Valet was wonderful. A true ski in/ski out location. Units are wonderful and well-maintained. While there is shuttle service to Beaver Creek, we were happy we rented a car. There are only two restaurants within walking distance, both are at the Ritz.

Fun summer getaway
We have been coming out during the winters to ski and snowboard for a few years and that has always been an wonderful experience. What a great spot in the mountains! This was our family's first summer vacation here - many things to do this time of the year. We had fun on the mountain bike trails, horseback riding, and rafting with Nova. The farmers markets were fun too. The kids had a blast at Adventure Ridge on Vail where they had zip lining, an amazing ropes course, a bungee trampoline and a rock climbing wall! We will definitely come back for another summer vacation.

Beautiful accommodations and location for a ski vacation
You can’t get better than this location for ski in ski out. Walk out the door and the valet was ready with our skis and you are looking right at the lift. We found it perfectly convenient for us with the kids. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable. The on site staff was very helpful from parking our cars to the ski valet service. We used the kitchen a lot - it was well equipped with everything we needed to cook and serve several meals. My only complaint (and not really) is that they don’t allow grills on the deck. We had one dinner at Spago’s over at the Ritz hotel one night, that was amazing as you might expect. The concierges were very helpful is assisting us with other activities too. They set us up with dog sledding and snowmobile rides which were great for non-skiing days. Check-in and check-out was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Would strongly recommend staying at this property.

LOVED the Timbers - Exceptional Property - wonderful Property Manager
My family and I returned last Saturday from a one week stay at The Timbers- Bachelor Gulch property. I had originally reserved a suite at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch, but stumbled upon this property the week before our trip and after a flurry of e-mails with the local property manager Erin (she patiently answered all my questions) I took a chance and booked this unit.
We were so blown away by this gorgeous property and immaculate unit. First of all, I was worried about booking with no contract but as soon as I made my reservation I was contacted by the Timbers concierge to confirm my dates and details. I even called and asked the concierge if this was a good unit and she assured me it was! Check in was amazing, a stunning lobby and architecture, the concierge going over all the ammenities with us. I thought my husband was going to fall out of his chair when he heard about the cookie "humidor" that is filled daily. Fresh lemonade, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit flavored water, member activities such as wine tasting and crafts... Redbox type free movie rentals, games for the kids, management thought of everything. We have been fortunate enough to stay at many nice properties all over Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Arizona... this was by far the nicest out of the Fairmonts, Ritz and Waldorf Astoria brands we have visited. My family LOVED it here. We hiked, rafted, took the shuttle to Beaver Creek, went horse back riding, swimming, visited Vail a few time, and did a train/silver mine tour in Georgetown. At the end of our day we were so happy to come back to this unit and relax and talk about our adventures. We fully utilized the kitchen and washer/dryer. We were so busy on our adventures that it was nice to come "home" and eat in the dining room. The photos are accurate for this unit, the description accurate, it was so clean I did yoga daily on the living room carpet (I have never done that in another rental ever!!) The booking agent (Erin Heath) was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone although I hope its available to book again if I get the chance to come back to CO!

What an incredible spot
We were two families that stayed at Timbers for our winter vacation. I can say without hesitation that this was our best ski trip ever. The Timbers is a premier ski-in/ski-out location at the base of the Bachelor Gulch chairlift. You don’t even have to carry your skis, the ski valet does that for you. The condo itself was beautifully furnished, super comfortable beds and the service was just incredible, everyone was more than friendly. The free lift tickets also made this property an incredible value.

Perfect spot for a family trip!
We brought our 3 children (ages 5,7, and 9) here for a week. Part way through the week their cousins and uncle joined in as well. The room accommodated everyone very comfortably. Tons of space and a great location. The ski valets are some of the nicest guys on the planet! They do a great job of getting everything ready and keeping kids happy while they get dressed. Getting over to ski school was a bit of a journey, but totally worth it because the place was so luxurious. Property was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend it to friends! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a large group.
