There was no pool or restaurant!
Inside very basic. Like a fly in fly out room.

I like nothing, although I booked no room information was given after the accommodation was told id arrive after hours.
Unfriendly staff, do not give out room information, do not answer phones, after failing to provide a service they are unwilling to give a refund.

Rooms were tidy.
Not all of the plugs worked in my room, my neighbors woke me up at 5 in the morning.

We did not stay at Stork Road, the shared facilities, (shower & toilet), did not suit my needs. I was travelling with my daughter. I had not read the ad correctly.
The staff at reception happily re-booked us into a different room.
Online booking needs to highlight the fact showers are communal.

It is what it is for the price. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was good.
bathrooms need a lot of attention. All shower heads need to be replaced.

for donga accommodation the room was very good. Queen bed, flat tv, fridge, comfortable bed and pillow. rooms are pet friendly.
I wasn’t keen on the shared bathroom and toilet but the layout made it ok. in my section there were approximately 6 separate little bathrooms each with a shower and toilet, so although you are sharing you actually have your own bathroom for a time.

Theoretically well situated.
The worst place we’ve stayed at in 5 weeks in Aus. Choose anywhere but this, including the nearby town, Ilfracombe, if you are visiting Longreach. It could be reasonable, if the owners and management cared a damn about the place & their customers - they don’t, so be warned!
We had no choice about staying here for the first 2 nights in Longreach, despite poor reviews - turns out they were being too kind! Several locals, including staff of the main motel nearby, apologised to us on behalf of Longreach.
The Bedroom, bathrooms and kitchen area (outdoors in both cold & windy weather) were not clean, and the latter two were neither cleaned daily. Supplies, like toilet paper and coffee/tea supplies ran out, or - like dishwashing & drying materials were completely non-existent. The tops of all shelves, rails, ledges etc were dirty in every room. Outdoors cleaning has not taken place for weeks, there were NO STAFF on site, and literally zero information about the facilities, town or events supplied. Neither of the 2 bathroom doors would properly close. plus it was a LONG way from the commercial centre (nearly an hour’s walk), so you need a vehicle if you wanted to visit most places in the town.
It was massively overpriced (about 3 times what a fair price would have been), and it was a disgrace to the town, and to Booking.com - who allegedly clipped the ticket on this place in a big way (we are going to raise this with them, as we want a good chunk of our money back).
Booking.com should remove this place off their books, and the owners - who apparently live in a different state, should close the whole joint, and not re-open until they’ve properly cleaned, renovated and organised it! We doubt they’ve even visited it.
As a regular and long-term user of Booking.com, we were disgusted with this outfit.

Late checkin was easily organised.

Located on a large property. Good set up. Fairly close to town.
Rooms were small. Shared bathroom did not appear to be cleaned daily. AC unit was very noisy.

nothing
it was hot, stuffy and more like a mining camp than accommodation. I have written to the property explaining our dissatisfaction and haven’t even had an acknowledgement. This place should be closed down or advertised for $10 per night.

loved the area!
very little appliances and utilities in the shared open kitchen

Location
No wifi. TV didn’t work in one room

We could see a couple of staff working very hard in the late afternoon trying to complete changing bedding in each room.
It was not made clear when booking that it was shared amenities- did not appear to be enough amenities for the number of people being accommodated. Did not feel comfortable or safe and did not stay for the night.

Loved the building with the wide verandah where we watched the sunset.
The room was fairly basic but comfortable and clean.
The outdoor kitchen was great except for the huge puddle on the floor between the sink and the centre bench
No complaints except for the puddle on the floor in the outdoor kitchen.

Convenient location - Longreach isn’t big though so it’s not hard.
No positive feedback. Rooms are ridiculously overpriced for dongas. Bedding was dirty and uncomfortable. Two thin pillows supplied with no doona. Towels were old and scratchy.

Nothing.
The bathroom was very far fro our cabin.
We didn't see any staff. Very expensive with shared bathrooms and kitchen.
No kettle or toaster in the room. The community kitchen was outside, freezing. Even to have a warm cup of tea I have to go to this very open kitchen. Not happy for the price. It was the most expensive accomodation in our trip.

Leaving in the morning to go get a coffee and breakfast
Everything.. and I've travelled all over the world in many different types of accommodation. Would no recommended anyone to stay here

nothing
The room we paid $170 and it had no ensuite. The curtains were tied on by string and were disintigrating. We had to walk about 15 metres to shared ensuite facilities that were dirty, and over the 3 days we were there were never cleaned. The airconditioner didn't work so we were cold overnight. There was one thin blanket and no spare blankets or pillows in the room. The camp kitchen had no utensils or crockery. We felt the room was worth $80 at best.
