It is always a fantastic experience to return to Pazo da Trave. We found the place as we were looking for a dog-friendly pazo. The kindness, friendliness of the staff is second to none, you feel really welcomed and they are very attentive to your every need. Add to that that the property is really beautiful and not far from the sea

The staff, and especially the Director, Leticia, we're very attentive and warm..The furniture was traditional for the area and the garden a beautiful place to read or have a drink. Both breakfast and dinner were available and delicious. Parking was ample.
There was absolutely nothing not to like.

Beautiful property in an amazing area of Galicia. The art incorporated in the interior design is a real plus. The welcome and attention given to us were appreciated.

it is a lovely historic building, quirky but nice. the facilities were very good and the staff exceptional. it is set in beautiful countryside but close to a few towns should you want that.
nothing to dislike but I can imagine that the lack of AC in summer might put some people off

A wonderful gem. Extremely characterful old building steeped in history with fantastic furnishings and décor, beautiful gardens and private parking. Lovely pool too but unfortunately it was due to open after our stay. Leticia was so very helpful from the start of our booking and continued to be so before and during our stay providing a small fridge for our room and recommending places to visit. We had a wonderfully spacious quiet 1st floor family room overlooking the garden with decent sized bathroom. We chose to eat in both nights – traditional homely meals with a choice of wine – perfect after a day out. Breakfast consisted of home made or locally produced products and we even had egg and bacon one morning. A perfect place to sit and contemplate the day, relax and unwind. Thank you so much Leticia and your team. We will certainly recommend to friends and family.

The Pazo da Trave was the perfect place to start our holiday and explore this corner of NW Galicia. We liked everything about it - the warm welcome, the art, the history - but our highlights were:
The staff: Leticia and her team were outstanding - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. We felt they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay.
The garden: the ideal spot to relax with a chilled glass of Albarino after a day of exploring. We loved how peaceful and calm it was.
The food: I wasn't sure what to expect based on past reviews, but I needn't have worried. We usually like to go out for dinner, but at the Pazo da Trave, we were happy to stay in the hotel and enjoy tasty, authentic Galician food at very reasonable prices. The menu included slow-cooked meat and fish; I had chicken cooked in a white wine sauce one night and baby squid in black ink with rice another time. All fresh and delicious.
My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
Nothing. We liked everything!

Everything. The best place ever. Wonderful place with beautiful rooms and surroundings. The staff is more than helpful and beyond nice with the clients. Food is great. Dream place. We had an excellent time. And they are pet friendly on top of this. One can't ask for more.
Everything was great. Nothing negative to say.

Simply everything. Our initial greeting from Letisha was wonderful, showing us around and making us feel incredibly welcome.
The property is wonderfully unique in decor and the grounds lovely to explore.
Our room was spacious, immaculate and well appointed with a great bath and loads of hot water.
But best of all was the food, much of which was sourced from chef Anna’s own garden. Each mouthful was heavenly, served with style by Letisha, and the wine list was interesting and like the food, well priced.
Situated slightly out of town but that simply meant that it was even more peaceful and relaxing.

We loved the quirky art which was all around the building, and the well-maintained gardens. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the evening meal was in the restaurant as there was only a limited menu, but everything was beautifully cooked, our plates were wiped clean!
Leticia was a wonderful host.
The weather!

wonderful place with the most kind and helpful staff. we felt at home immediately
Some of the furniture or facilities might need about if an update but at the same time they get the vintage feel very well

Staff served us tapas in our room when we got back at 21.00. Manager gave us excellent tips on what to visit next day on our journey along the coast
A little far out from town but manageable with our GPS

Pazo de Trave was a beautiful, unique property, with an interesting history, it had been very sympathetically restored to a high standard.
The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English very well.
Our room was delightful with a lovely view fron the balcony.
The meals they served were very tasty and good value fo money.
Everything was perfect apart from the ugly building opposite the property. No big deal though.

Lovely rural setting, gorgeous premises and wonderful photo opportunities. The place has an old world, magical feel like stepping back in time. Lovely old church on the grounds, also facilities for conferences and weddings. Breakfast was lovely and staff, especially Sara, was incredible kind and helpful. Well done for running a great hotel. We loved it!
It’s a bit of drive away from the center, shops, restaurants, etc so it isn’t easy to go exploring from here. However, there are some great country walks which is a nice alternative. There is nothing negative to say about this place - it was great!

Our stay at Pazo da Trave was like stepping into a fairytale! From the minute we arrived we could sense that it was going to be a magical stay. We spent as much time as possible in the garden reading, working, enjoying a beverage, or simply taking in the surroundings. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was especially unique with its thick rock walls. I spent a fair amount of time at the sink washing masks but I didn't mind with the views and feeling like I was in a Disney movie. I half expected the birds to start talking to me!
Breakfast was an sensational feast (and challenge to finish!!) We also enjoyed dinner one evening and highly recommend it to complete the experience. The girl in the dining room was very friendly and attentive. An added bonus is that the meals were very reasonably priced so it was easy to make the decision to eat there (and it would be within a normal budget to do so more than once).
Thank you very much and we'll be back!!
