Recomendo.

Breakfast was great. Very friendly staff.
No washing of clothes during carnaval (this is when I needed them washed the most)

Excellent room! Very spacious with big and comfortable bed. The shower was very good as well.
Location of the pousada was very good for walking around Centro.
One of the photos indicated that breakfast would be available at the property which was not the case.
It would be nice to have some coffee making facility in the room if no such is offered on premises.

Nothing realy
I guess the area is a fact, yet for those whom do not know Salvador, this is not a nice neiborhood, especially for the eyes of someone out of Brazil.
The hotel is on the lower scale of low level hotels.
The reception is basically a POS machine, that's it in the enterce room.
The room is very very basic, the soap package was open, not necessarily a new one
No value for money.

good room with a/c and Moskito net at one window
no kitchen, no breakfast, many Moskitos

The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was awesome.
It was a beautiful, historical, large home with plenty to see. They have a few little monkeys, too!
It was clearly stated that it included breakfast, which we were depending on, but when we got there, only after paying for the room did they tell us that it doesn't include breakfast now because of COVID. There was no prior warning, nothing. It's been more than a year, they should have something to let people know before they pay. There are plenty of hotels that have found ways to continue feeding people in a sanitary way during the pandemic.
It was also clearly not a safe area, unfortunately. Get an Uber to anywhere you go and wait for it in the hotel.

Do estilo e da tranquilidade do local
Sem café da manhã.

Amazing location, the pousada is a traditional house in the historic center, Hans, the owner, is a great Host, has good stories to share. For sure a great price quality deal!
We had a problem with the shower and asked for the help of the cleaning staff, they were not polite and open to hear. Nonetheless once we texted Hans the problem was quickly solved!

The room was big and clean, quiet and it's 10 min by foot from the historical center
Breakfast supposed to be included but when we arrived they said that because of the pandemic they do not provide. During our 2 months visit in Brazil, we had breakfast everywhere in all states of Brazil, even in Bahia.
Smoking is not allowed throughout the property, not even in the garden. The owner said that it's a regulation in Bahia.Well, every other properties in Bahia it is allowed to smoke, we were in many. Then when smoking, the owner said he will call the police and we have to leave the property, even it was payed already.
Every property is offering free cleaned tap water. Since our arrival , even tap water was refused. The attitude of staff is very bad, not even a greeting. You can not pay with card, only cash. It was also strange. Avoid by all costs. We found for half of the price in the area an amazing place, big room, sea view, super friendly helpful owner , breakfast and water included with terrasse and smoking area. You can have many nice options in Salvador.
