I have stayed at this hotel a few times now its always great.

Breakfast was ok, manager Tandekile was exceptional. The other manager Indian lady did not clear my overpayment. I am still waiting for my refund more than a month now.

Not impressive for a 4 star hotel

The room that we had, had renovations on the upper floor that started every morning at 7am, drilling etc. Reception staff not very friendly.

Experienced some good positives and also some low negatives. But these can be fixed.

Chamelot Spa - Great Experience, wonderful therapists, very knowledgeable and accommodating (Vanessa). Having the Spa in the Hotel was a great idea. It actually contributed to the hotel selection when booking. It was clean, hygienic and most importantly very peaceful and relaxing, fully achieving the objective of the visit. A great treat after a busy workday and travel.

It was disturbing that the bathroom counter, wall tiles and tub were stained and appeared used. The bedding had dust towards the bottom. These are easily fixable with solutions of daily cleaning and maintenance. For business travelers the chair provided was very hard and uncomfortable, which made extensive use, after hours, a very painful experience. For this business visit, we had booked through the booking.com app, which was very easy and convenient, and we were happy that it came with a discount. Understandably, in the tough economic conditions, travelers and service providers alike are trying to cut costs and save money. However, even under these circumstances certain things can be done cost effectively to ensure that travelers are met with some satisfaction to their visit, in keeping with brand reputation and previous high standards that were enforced and upheld. Revisiting these standards will help you ensure you always have return customers to stay relevant and in business.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and extractor wasn't working My room wasn't made up and cleaned Tv picture quality not clear They could do with windows for fresh air We should have been informed that we pay for parking

Just fair.

The location is okay. The breakfast needs more variety foods. The room was mostly quiet.

The Staff attitude: I was stuck in the elevator for close to 1hr, and the Staff didn't act as if it was something serious. The management did not even check on me if I was okay afterwards. Intercom didn't work throughout and they didn't do anything about it.

Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Amenities good. Good location.

Only had a problem with shower in bath not easy to get in and out of bath also water was luke warm when showering. New parking arrangement is expensive.

We'll definetly visit again

The presidential suite bedroom decor was awesome. Some of the staff members were great.

House keeping , guest relation, rooms service kept ignoring calls for hours and eventually when calls got answere it would take long before service. Not everyone can eat fast and it was upsetting that one can't pick up food to take with to room given fact that rooms service were non responsive all morning

Great value for money

Everything work smoothly and with no complaints. Service was swift and helpful. Great gym.

The entrance to the side road of the hotel could have been left open as it is safer and shorter to walk through there. Unfortunately;y, it was permanently locked.

Comfortable bed and quiet room, back up generator for loadshedding an added bonus. Tasty breakfast and good security.

The stay was exceptionally good would definitely visit again given a chance

We booked 2 rooms. 1 for our 2 teenage daughters and 1 for us parents. Both rooms were very clean. Both rooms we well air-conditioned given the cold weather. The feather filled pillows always stand out for me in all Southern Sun facilities. Both rooms were on the 6th floor and the view was breathtaking

Wished the rooms had both a bath tub and shower for better choice.

Wonderful Stay at Southern Sun Rosebank

The location and staff were wonderful, and the restaurant was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean, I would definitely stay here again.

The bathrooms were a little bit small, so it was hard for two people to get ready simultaneously.
