We rented the apartment with sea view terrace. Everything was great and the host, Lea, was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of information about the beautiful Cilento coast. Thanks again!!

The breakfast terrace is amazing, staff is super friendly and helpful with helping to arrange transportation & excursions, especially in a place where you absolutely have to speak Italian to do those things. I have come to this place pre & post covid times, and it is still exceptional. I loved being able to speak Italian with the locals and staff, and that they were able to speak easily with my family who only spoke English. Incredible!

Everything in the hotel is very beautiful, a true labour of love. The owners and staff were very welcoming and gave us plenty of tips to make our stay as memorable as possible. Delicious breakfast, great cocktails and the best view.

Truly exceptional place and people. moving us to write our first ever online hotel review. The hotel is in an old building that was lovingly restored by the owners. It is full of character, comfort. The setting is spectacular, breakfast and evening cocktails on the terrace overlooking olive groves and miles of deep blue sea. Quiet and peaceful but just a short street away from the center of the lovely, vivid old town, where there are excellent restaurants. The owners, Lea and Massimo, were warmly welcoming and went out of their way to give advice and support that enhanced our stay. We so liked the hotel that we changed our travel plans to stay a full five days, which Lea somehow made possible despite it being a weekend. She also helped us book a local car rental which allowed us to explore the beautiful coast and the national park. Also: great breakfast with creative variations from day to day. So grateful for our wonderful time there.

Staying here is a truly exceptional experience. The hosts Lea and Massimo really are the best I have experienced. They could not have been more helpful, from meeting us on arrival to help with bags and parking, to recommending restaurants and sights to see, to offering us a choice of rooms, they were wonderful. The hotel itself is everything I had dreamed of (beautiful rooms and views, magnificent terrace, cosy garden seating), and every tiny detail is considered. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff super helpful. The village of Pisciotta also has everything you could wish for in this region, wide choice of restaurants with differing regional specialities, authentic bars, cafes & pizzerias, and local culture (in two days we saw the weekly market, a religious ceremony & a live band in the main piazza!). Having travelled from the busier Amalfi coast region this truly was the best part of our whole trip and the one part we would happily repeat! 10/10
Nothing. However, it is good to know that shops & restaurants here follow traditional opening times, e.g. lunch is 12-2, dinner is 6-7pm onwards (later the better!), and shops are generally open until lunchtime and then after 4pm, so you need a bit of forward planning if you are used to more touristy places that are open all day.

Luxe uitstraling, maar niet over the top. Unieke ligging.

The focal point of the hotel is the terrace where breakfast and evening drinks are served, and from here you have a wonderful view of the old buildings of Pisciotta and of the sea. Lea and Massimo, the owners, are so friendly and helpful - they give you an overview of what there is to do nearby and are very helpful with booking etc. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped, breakfast is plentiful and delicious - we enjoyed "happiness in the cup"!

Marulivo Hotel was the highlight on our three weeks trip to Italy. Marulivo Hotel is located on a hill in picturesque Pisciotte offering a spectacular view of the The Mediterranean Sea. The owners, Massimo and Lea, made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. We will be back!
The aircondition could use an upate.

The owners, Lea and Maurizio, are simply wonderful, helpful, and solicitous of guests' comfort and needs. The terrace where breakfast is served and one can have cocktails in the evening, offers a stupendous view of the sea. Two very fine restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. One can easily reach the sea by a shuttle. Extremely highly recommended.

The Marulivo Hotel has not only a wonderful setting perched on a hill overlooking the Thyrennian Sea, the village Pisciotta, has a magical aura which leaves the observer sitting simply spellbound and breathless. The owners, Massimo and Lea, made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Lea was particularly helpful when giving us tips and advice on all the excursions and sights that the Cilento area had to offer. The apartment in which we stayed for 1 week in October 2020 offered a spectacular view of the sea from the terrace. It was also very spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything one might need. Enjoying an aperitif or cocktail on the hotel’s terrace watching the sunset was truly marvellous and we were so grateful to find such a well-kept secret off the beaten track. We will certainly go back since the hospitality was so personal and the accomodation was affordable and the service very professional.
