Nettes Hotel

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Großes Frühstücksbuffet. Abends ebenfalls Vorspeisen-Buffet und nette Auswahl an Salaten - Essen sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Großer eigener Parkplatz. Wir waren als Zwischenstopp nur eine Nacht, aber wir werden wieder einmal kommen.

Bom pequeno almoço. Localização extratordinária. Qualidade geral corresponde ao previsto.

O estacionamento é um pouco afastado do hotel, mas percebe-se.

Bisher unser schönster Aufenthalt in Kärnten

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 7. Stock mit herrlichem Ausblick. Das Frühstücksbuffett hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, nicht nur wegen der Auswahl und Qualität des Essens, sondern auch wegen der Location auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Auch die Lage in Seenähe ist perfekt.

Dass man am Abreisetag nicht den hoteleigenen Strandbereich benutzen darf, ist diesem Hotel eigentlich nicht würdig. V.a. auch wegen der Begründung, dass ansonsten zu wenige Liegen für die Gäste verfügbar sind. Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren max. 60% der Liegen belegt.

Decent woth amazing location

Nice location. Great views. Very clean. Staff very well trained.

Breakfast is not worth it if you are a vegetarian or vegan. It was a cheese and meat heavy breakfast. The entire place has a tired look even after the renovation.

Personal war - egal in welchem Bereich - super freundlich. Bestes Personal am ganzen Wörthersee Die Chefin Wasser die einzige, die hier nicht wie ihr sonstiges Team freundlich war

Beautiful and quiet location

The location is beautiful. Having the private beach area and the ample hotel grounds adds to the experience. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards was free which was good.

The hotel was a bit formal especially at meal times. I think if they have so many children , who are making a noise and rmaking mischief then little point in having dress restrictions(long trousers and no sandals). I approve of the children just not the dress restrictions:-)

Elegant and comfortable hotel made perfect by the wonderful staff and facilities

This hotel is wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The staff are consistently friendly and couldn't do enough for us and, though I tried to use my limited German when I could, were all happy and able to speak English. Breakfast is amazing - everything you could want and incredible quality, with the young waiting staff keen to help and provide whatever you need. The beach by the lake is perfect: free use of kayaks, paddle-boards, inflatables if every size and shape and plenty of sun loungers. The food at the beach cafe (and at breakfast!) is outstanding - generous portions of well-prepared, delicious and very reasonably priced food. The indoor pool and relaxing facilities in the wellness area were also great though we tended to be outside in the sunshine. We came to the hotel to relax and we did that - the beds are very comfortable, rooms large and we heard no sound from neighbours. A truly relaxing, happy experience.

The only potential negative was the cost of eating at the hotel in the evening. €49 per head was more than we wanted to spend each evening, even though the food was probably really excellent if breakfast is anything to go by. However, there is a good outside café just two minutes walk away which was priced more to our budget, and a number of options away from the hotel in the towns around, so we always had a nice meal.

Stay was good except for the glitch in dinner. Overall it was good.

Breakfast was more than adequate & location is next to the beach. Nice place for relaxing.

We wanted to have dinner at the hotel restaurant on our 2nd night & to our surprise, we were told we have to pre-book with the reception/restaurant so we have to source for dinner outside. Alas most of the F&B outlets were closed. Thank goodness we manage to dine at a Greek restaurant that was open. Probably upon check in, the staff should have inform us of the dinner pre-booking.

Amazing, we were sad to leave.

The overall presentation of the hotel exudes luxury and relaxation. Lovely pool. The surroundings are beautiful. Staff were friendly but professional and breakfast outstanding.

Maybe because we are from the UK and 60 + We expected a hospitality tray to make hot drinks in our room! This was not the case, but as soon as I asked for a kettle it was provided quickly.

Everything. Amazing breakfast. Staff super. Amazing view from 7 floor. I was 1 night but I come back for a long time. Thank You.

Apart from breakfast, it was impossible to eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant. Maybe it's just off season. I don't know. The restaurant we visited in the city was tragic.

Other than confusion with the room type, i would say that it was very good

The location and facilities at the hotel

I booked a lake side room, and paid extra for it. I got a garden side room viewing lake from a side. The lady at the reception informed us that all rooms view the lake at the hotel which is true, however i wonder for what i paid extra? Why are there three options available in the booking.com (garden side, garden+lake side, lake side rooms) with different prices? My booking was for only lake side.

the location can’t be better- next to the lake with beautiful view from the balcony and restaurant the stuff is very effective and polite the breakfast is very good the swimming pool open at 7.a.m.which is great for morning swimmers

I only missed a kettle in the room as a strong coffee drinker:))

Nice place but super expensive. Not worth so much money

Very clean. Great park and confortable rooms. Has many free options for the kids ( kayaks, bikes, etc). Kind staff.

Super expensive! Compared to other great destinations in Europe and even in America, it has simply no explanation. Private beach is very small and crowded. Kitchen closes very early at 21hs, with no option to get any food.

Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Location is exceptional. Quality food, professional and friendly staff and facilities were all superb. Free use of bikes and tennis courts were a bonus.

A better selection of lunchtime snacks at a reasonable price. Many of the surrounding bars and restaurants were closed for extended holidays.
