Que estaba enfrente de la playa

El acceso para llegar,la carretera muy mala,al llover tanto parecía un pueblo fantasma,no me gustó encima estaba muy alejado de supermercados,igual en verano la cosa cambia.

Seaside retreat on the Camino

A seaside retreat off the Camino (but only a short way off and easy to rejoin). Had my own terrace. Restaurant below with veggie options. On the sea front, a road’s width from the water.

You could hear every door slam on the corridor.

Perfect rest stop on Portuguese Camino. Eat well and get a good night’s sleep.

Worth a detour!

If you're walking the Camino, this place is well worth the detour. The location is incredible. It was very convenient to have a restaurant on site too, with lots of options for vegetarians. Breakfast was good too. I had the continental breakfast for 6.50 and it was exactly what I needed. Toast, fruit, cake, juice and coffee. It set me up for a great day on the Camino. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but basic enough.

A little noisy with the walls being very thin, but not a big problem.

Superb

This is a charming property on the outskirts of Rondendela and perfect for those who seek a more peaceful location. The patio bar is very relaxing for cocktails with great ocean view. The restaurant is equally relaxing and features a good selection of local dishes and wines. Clean facility. Good service all around.

For those on the Camino, you should be aware that this facility is a kilometer or two off the route. However, connecting with the Camino is quite easy via a 30 minute northern path recommended by the hostel running parallel to the Camino and combining at A-550. And because the Camino to Pontevedra tends to be a long day for most pilgrims, you will appreciate the 3 kilometer head start afforded by the location of this hostel

A beautiful location but...

The waterside location is beautiful with wind and kite surfing happening during our visit

The room was very basic and small and lacked basic tea and coffee making facilities. Some staff were great but others were unhelpful.

Beautiful setting on the edge of the river, restaurant for evening meal is lovely, excellent service and food. Breakfast was self service and good.

Pity there was a wedding reception on in the evening and a lot of noise from the kitchen and courtyard below my room (101) until after midnight.

Location in terms of the beach view was lovely. Great to have onsite bar and restaurant. Staff extremely nice and friendly and helped where needed. Rooms were clean but shower in 206 only had half shower door only a minor a criticism for safety reasons. Breakfast was plentiful and the lady who served breakfast was very helpful.

Great location by the beach. Nice outdoor eating area, nice food too.

Staff were not very friendly or attentive. It was noisy and no a/c. You could hear everything through the walls. Tiny shower.

EXCELLENT

Was a little off the camino path for us but the hotel was awesome! staff helpful, friendly, food was great, room was clean (no AC but able to get cross breeze through the windows) - overall a great place to stay.

Very loud people outside after 10 pm. We had to ask the staff to quiet them down. The group was also smoking and the fumes came right into the room.

It’s on the beach, which was amazing right after a long day walking. The hostal is pretty and comfortable. The food was ok.
