Séjour très agréable au calme et proche des restaurants.

Taille de la chambre, literie, insonorisation intérieure, petit-déjeuner, emplacement. L'accueil est excellent avec du personnel souriant, avenant.

L'hôtel est un peu vétuste : la décoration de la chambre (peintures, style..). Nous étions hébergé dans une suite pour 4 personnes avec notre fille de 11 ans et il manque un plateau de courtoisie, un mini bar et un peu plus de rangement.

Wonderful stay in Bénodet

The location is perfect and the view over the river from our room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were very helpful. They sent some great suggestions for places to eat and to visit. The breakfast was great.

The decor in the bedrooms is a little old fashioned and would benefit from being updated.

location was good, staff were lovely, bed was comfortable.

breakfast was poor - no fresh French bread, what was on offer was mass produced but unfortunately that seems to be common in France now (certainly in Brittany), bathroom floor tiles were loose and looked in need of of updating.

The welcome was excellent and the staff very helpful.

My impression was of a rather "tired " hotel that was in need of some renovation, rather than what appeared to be some emulsion paint "slapped " on: even onto the skirting boards in places. There was no restaurant for an evening meal, but a credit note was given for one of two local establishments. For one of these the amount credited would just about cover their basic menu. Didn't seem to meet the claim on the booking confirmation. All in all, I felt somewhat let down by what was called "The Grand Hotel ". I'm sure other visitors might not agree with my comments.

amazing stay at a wonderful small town

very well placed at the port, excellent localization. electric bike rental at the hotel. excellent breakfast. nice forties' hotel architecture (a bit messed up) just beside the Abbey...

might improve railroad & airport connection with Bénodet: information, options, bus schedule, etc... too much boat-ferry agency without regional land integration or circulation (culinary, oysters, mangroves, sightseeing, etc.)

Lovely location

Great location in a very quaint town, nice range of food at breakfast, rooms were relatively clean, staff were very helpful (recommended a nice restaurant).

Overall decor of hotel is outdated, no power sockets near the bed for charging phones, the window in my room was damaged, no sound proofing (I could hear people in other rooms), bathroom needs an upgrade (water damage due to bad design).

Perfect location in a lovely hotel.

The continental breakfast was excellent there was plenty of choice and ample of everything. The location was perfect - right on the river and very near the sea.
