Too noisy and even though the apartment is advertised with a see view, actually there is more a street view.

good location, lovely village, good parking
Upon arrival the apartment smelled heavy of cigarette smoke, although it was clearly a non-smoker apartment. The smell got less after 3 days. The bed was very small, not in line with the advertised description of a large bed, the bedroom was situated next to a a busy hallway where the entrance of 3 other apartments were located. The bedroom window looked out on the hall way, so it was very noisy, and it was not possible to leave the window open or curtain, because of privacy reasons, which felt very uncomfortable. the bathroom had an awful smell of sewage, and the bathroom window was broken, which meant that it had to be fully opened for fresh air, resulting in NO privacy when making use of the bathroom or shower. The friendly owner came by for the window or smell, but could not help us with it. Apartment balcony was situated on a busy road, which could not be seen on the advertised photos.

Great location: truly 2 min walking to the beach, nearby markets and restaurants, bus stop just in the front of the apartment, free parking literally in the front of the entrance. Quite spacious, with small balcony, with some basic kitchen equipment, comfortable beds
Contact with administration was pain in the a... Just before arrival(3 hours) I got the instructions how to pick up the keys despite of that I have been asking for this for 3 days (me and my friends were arriving and different time and I could not redirect this info to them because of being the plane).
While being there 7 days nobody was cleaning apartment or changing towels.

Proximity to everything, such as the supermarkets, the beach, bus stops elsewhere on the island (including airport).
There was enough room for my friend and I to be comfortable, it was quite clean.
Staff were helpful on WhatsApp when I encountered a few issues gaining access in my extremely tired state on arrival.
They were also informative on checkout procedures, and I didn't feel a significant language barrier when chatting.
It was also quite quiet within the building, so I had no issues at all accessing the laundry facilities on the roof.
Open air market in the adjacent car park on Tuesdays, and parking in general is really easy and plentiful here.
The bed was rather hard.
Plates, bowls, etc were very limited though we made the best of it.
Balcony was a bit small and overlooked.
No oven, so hobs only for cooking so I had to improvise a few things.

Spacious apartment, good wifi. Location pretty good.
You get quite much noise from the road and parking lot in front.

Self catering
Their operating system on the net crashed when I tried to register. Wes sorted at the door by an employee and I paid the deposit. Expecting anther apartment but not a problem in the end

location in the village and close to beach
Before you can get in, you have to fill in forms for every guest. We were in the mountains with low signal so that didn’t work. Also we were two groups so I did not have all the information like passportnumbers of all the persons staying. You do not get a code to go in the apartments before you do all this. So we had to contact the organization quite a lot. Also you have to pay 100€ deposit extra.
One apartment had a terrible smell coming out the shower

Location is near to super market, pharmacy, restaurant but a bit of noisy
Only one bed sheet and no quilt for sofa bed, have to use blanket without cover, sofa mattress is full of dust, the covers of pillows seems to have not changed, only one trash bag, no instructions for dropping trash bags, hot water is not enough for 4 persons shower, no checking list for property.

We are an active couple so we rented a car and basically just wanted a comfortable and not expensive apartment to be our 'base' while visiting the island. Sleep and cook breakfast. It was perfect for our needs. Spacious apartment with everything. Two big supermarket 5min walking. Free washing machine in the terrace. The process is all online and the staff was always responsive and helping with every step.
Arguineguín is not the best place in the south, and the beach is not really beautiful. It all depends on what you want to do. For us it was perfect. You are 10/20 min or less by car from all the cool beaches in the south of Gran Canaria, and 30min from the mountains. There are also bus running close to the apartment.
