Visiting for family trip. The apartment was very comfortable, nice walkable neighborhood with many grocery and restaurant choices. Apartment is quiet and well appointed. If you have a car, I suggest you take Barb up on her offer to get a parking permit, it just makes it so much easier and less stressful. Barb was very helpful with tips about the city that added to our great vacation. We would stay here again for sure.

Cleanliness was a problem. Human hair on our bed, and one pillow had a sticky substance on it. Other than cleanliness the home fit all of our needs.

Very nice neighbourhood. Host flexible..allowed us to stay after regular checkout time. There were ants in the bathroom and sometimes a few in the kitchen. There was no receptacle for kitchen waste.

It was the worst and horrible experience in Salina’s “dream” house.For us, it was absolutely a nightmare.
We booked the stay for 15 days from Vrbo. In the beginning, Salina was very nice and offered us a free ride to Granville island, and told us if there’s any problem let her know. But things were changed since the dryer had been broken. We hoped to talk about it but she didn’t want to waste time. Because of that we had to ask our friends who live in Richmond to help us take our clothes to their house for washing. After our friend came home, the electricity in the house was suddenly off and we texted Salina immediately because kids were very scared. Then she texted back and said that she had just knocked on the door, because we were very noisy which is not true and told us no one can be in the house without her permission. THATS WHY SHE CUT OFF THE POWER.
The most intolerable thing was she entered the room without our permission and took our webcam away when we weren’t at home. Of course, she denied everything until we told her that what she did had been captured by the camera. She compensated my friend for the camera but money can’t make up for trauma. We are still overwhelmed with fear even we are back home. Before you book the “dream” house, please think twice. So many unreasonable rules to obey, like we were in the prison.

My family and I stayed here for 6 days and had a great time. There is a grocery store nearby with friendly staff where we sent our teenager shopping, a park with play structure and trails, a large, fully-featured community indoor swimming pool, and easy access to transit (need a transfer to Skytrain though).
Salina was very helpful, courteous, and quick to respond to our questions. We would highly recommend this stay to others!

Really great location on a quiet street and in easy walking distance of Main St and QE Park. We stayed here for the Vancouver Marathon and it was right by the start line! Perfect for race morning!

We have stayed at this property several times in the last 3 years. It is always clean and very comfortable. Neighborhood amenities cant be beat. Close to Queen Elizabeth park. Excellent location to visit family.

The property is in a great location close to cafes, grocery shops and parks. Unfortunately we found parking on the street close to the property difficult and had to move our car frequently in order to comply with parking regulations. Salina was very helpful in terms of making sure we had access to the shared laundry and was a great host.

All went smoothly from start to finish. Our host was so accommodating and generous. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed exploring Main Stree just a block away.

This property is nothing at all what it appeared on the ad. When we arrived the garden suite was absolutely freezing. The owner was still “cleaning” the unit. It was far from clean. The dust under the beds were at least an inch thick with dust bunnies every where. The linen on the sheets were old and were not fresh. Disgusting. There was no pressure in the shower, you never felt clean as the water pressure was so light. It was noisy from above. We were given two rolls of toilet paper for a two week stay. We had to keep asking for heat, more toilet paper, paper towel. She never once cleaned the unit during our stay. I asked for towels and she handed me a towel with holes in it and stained. I told her this was unacceptable. We basically froze as she needs her heating system repaired.
She’s willing to rent this place out for two weeks charging $4000.00 and please take my word for it, it’s not worth it. No light in the back entrance way so we would have to use our flash light on our phones.
Dirty, cold and not stocked with what you need to feel comfortable! I am so very disappointed and feel we should be compensated somehow.
She wants the cash but doesn’t even have proper heating in this place. A rate it zero stars! Beware

I booked the accommodation for my husband, nephew, niece and myself. There was ample room for us. The wedding events took place in Richmond, East Vancouver, UBC and Downtown. The location couldn't have been better.

We enjoyed the proximity to Main Street and the Hillcrest Pool. The living room has a cozy couch and good natural light.
The EV charger noted in the listing is at the Hillcrest Pool (a very short walk) and owned by Shell.

Very high standard. Selina was an excellent host and we enjoyed the area (Qn Elizabeth Park and van Dusen gardens memorable). We were blessed with great weather so saw Vancouver at its very best.

We had a wonderful time staying at Salina’s property. We were in Vancouver (from Chicago) to drop off our daughter who is starting at UBC. The property was perfect on all levels. It was clean and cozy and welcoming. Salina was more than accommodating and responsive to all my questions. She even let me ship a few packages to the address before our stay. The location couldn’t be beat in its proximity to Main Street shops and restaurants and it is about 15 mins from the University. We loved going to the park and got day passes to the rec center gym, (also has a pool and ice rink). This was a bittersweet trip for us because we left our daughter but it really helped to be in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Enjoyed Vancouver sights from this wonderfully situated and quiet neighborhood. Home was clean, well stocked with basics and we felt safe staying here. We loved the front patio area and lovely yard. Thank you!

Enjoyed my conversations with Salina, lovely lady! Also enjoyed her adorable little dog! Location a bit further away from touristy stuff then I realized. Queen Elizabeth park and a short walk to Breka bakery cafe was great. Cleaning lady was a no show so Salina did some cleaning. She was gracious to let us check in early, which was super helpful. The bathroom shower looks amazing but floor was slippery and pressure so so. The primary bedroom would benefit from a lower bed and repositioned under the window to make room to get in on both sides of the bed. Overall, great hostess, nice quiet location and great natural light in the main living area, good tv and wifi.

Hiccup on Early Check-in But Very Accomodating
We had arranged well in advance for an early check-in, arriving with luggage on the shuttle from Whistler. Unfortunately the owners were caught off-guard by previous guests who did not check out on time. We called ahead to confirm it was still ok to arrive and there was some confusion. Salina & Adam were gracious about allowing us to come to bring our luggage while we were waiting for the cleaning. They treated us to a bottle of wine for the inconvenience and were very attentive during our stay. The VRBO is in a great area by the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park, on a quiet street with funky vintage shops and cafes nearby. Thank you for all the fresh towels and supplies to make our stay comfortable.

Wonderful, cozy, clean, private spot to stay in Vancouver!
We loved your beautiful dream garden suite! We took advantage of the easy accessibility to so many terrific coffee shops, stores, restaurants, parks within walking distance. And we also had no trouble getting downtown, to the UBC campus, and everywhere else we wanted to see in Vancouver. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Visit for wedding
We had a wonderful stay at Salina’s property. We were over from the UK for our son’s wedding. The accommodation was just a few blocks from his home which was great. The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more. The host was extremely helpful and responded to any queries we had immediately. Hope to stay at this property again when we next visit wonderful BC, Canada

Vancouver Get-away
Cozy, clean unit for a quick get-away so conveniently located close to downtown and for nice morning walks to the conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park. Beds were not so comfortable and kitchen not completely stocked. Only one dish washer pod and no baking sheets. Not many dish towels. So close to Main Street shopping, restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend to others.

Clean and quiet.
This property is just as advertised. The pleasant surprise is how accessible public transportation is. Located 1 block off main street, the bus and train systems are completely accessible. Also main has many shops and restaurants available. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Stay
My husband and 2 adult daughters were in Vancouver for a wedding, so most days we were out of the house. We only had breakfast a few days in the cozy house, so we usually didn't need the kitchen for more than snacks and drinks. But the kitchen was adequate, a little short on glasses (only juice sized glasses - could use some wine glasses) and cutlery but we could manage. There were adequate towels and soap, shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and the shower was great. The beds we comfy and everyone slept well. The garden sitting area was lovely and well maintained. A lot of care in the property was evident.
The location was excellent... we were about 20 min from Stanley Park, and about 15 min from the airport. We could've walked to restaurants if we had more time, and there is a great little ice cream shop around the corner on Main St. We loved our morning walks when we could....
Queen Elizabeth Park and the biosphere are a quick 10 min walk away and beautiful.
I would highly recommend this property for the convenience, safety, comfort and privacy. I would definitely book here again.

Comfortable stay- great location
We were completely satisfied with our stay. Perfect for visiting family who live in the neighborhood. Clean, comfortable, nicely appointed. Groceries, coffee, dining readily accessible on Main St within easy walking distance. Will definitely book here again. Love this part of Vancouver.

misleading!
pic misleading, no mention of owner has dog that barks a lot, or that laundry has to be shared, owner has son who stomps as he walks above you, fireplace non functional, no ice maker, beds uncomfortable, and some kind of construction was going on during our stay.

Wonderful place in a nice quiet naighborhood
The place was lovely and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. My kids loved the bunk beds!!The owner was a lovely person who helped us when we had issues with our car. She went above and beyond for us. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet. It was a great experience. I would stay there again !
