The unit was perfect for me needs. The place was as advertised. It was a quick Uber from a nice little downtown area. Within walking distance to the Sound and some great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice little spot for 1 or 2 people. Noce host! There is a view of the ocean from the yard. The bed was comfortable, needs more pillows. I would suggest a floor fan & window fans for air circulation as the room gets stuffy without fresh air. The TV is a micro 24” screen - way too small.

Location was convenient to area attractions; description of property was accurate.

Very nice location & great outdoor patio access. Only downside is "kitchen"-type amenities very limited.

This property was exactly as described. Situated in a beautiful neighborhood with great views and easy access to shops and dining options. My stay was for 9 days and I was perfectly comfortable. I would stay there again next time I’m in the area.

We stayed three nights while in town for our daughter’s graduation from PLU. The property was even better than advertised. Loved the neighborhood. Loved the view of Commencement Bay from the patio. Loved the big, comfy bed. And the sauna was fantastic!

Everything was great! The property was quiet, safe, and the owners of the property were quick to respond to communication. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect for us. We were in town to visit family and friends. Close to the waterfront restaurants, and to family. Easy access to the Narrows Bridge.
Two suggestions: Notify client of the significant stair in order to enter the bathroom; the addition or access to water and a sink would be ideal in the coffee area.

I would recommend this stay. You couldn't ask for a more lovely neighborhood and it is all less expensive than a hotel room.

Beautiful area. Super cute guest house. It’s very small and only a microwave and mini fridge for kitchen equipment. But if you are ok with that, it’s a great place. They do little things to make you feel very welcome. We will definitely book here if we are back in the area.

Other than the place not being prepared for us to check in, this place is a nice "hotel room" type option. Just a room with a microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a very nice view. The owners were out of town and miscommunicated with the contact person so the place wasn't ready when we checked in. Dirty dishes, used bottles of water around, no coffee, or wine glasses (as stated) were left for us. It took about 8 hours but we finally got some assistance. Overall though, it's a nice place to stay.

I slept better there than I had i 30 years. The location is quiet and within easy reach of shopping and attractions, like the Point Defiance Park and the Ferry to Vashon. I would gladly stay there in the future.

Cozy quiet and comfortable. Nice to have a view to wake up to! The house is located in a great residential neighborhood we walked to the waterfront and the park enjoying all the beautiful views, houses, and flowers along the way! Because we were in Tacoma for a wedding we didn't get to hit the museums or do much shopping but I think we will just need to come back!

My husband had a conference at the Tacoma Convention Center. This was a short, easy drive to the convention center and also a short distance and easy drive to Port Defiance park. Enjoyed our stay!

A very nice property well-appointed. Suited our purpose as a stopover while visiting family.

This property has some issues. The pictures do not portray the truth…very low ceiling and lower beam, poor light, dirty windows, and the room is under the garage and it feels like it with chopped up space. toilet and bathroom sink in small, oddly sized space.
Worse, pictures don’t tell you the story.

It was okay

First of all, the heating system was broken so it was very cold.
The tiny fridge was full of other people’s food. The coffee maker didn’t work.
The internet barely worked.
It took multiple attempts to contact the host. Very unresponsive about internet issues.
There were at least half a dozen spiders throughout the place. There’s no means to prepare food.
The soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty.
I am a neat freak and the host said I left it messy?
She also said in her review I didn’t follow the property rules? Not sure what that is about.
Overall I would not recommend this property.

Comfortable and relaxing home base for a busy weekend. First time experiencing a PNW heatwave. So pleased that the situation of the guesthouse kept it cool all day. Thanks for the lovely accommodations.

Perfect for me as a single traveler. Nice location with plenty of restaurants. Safe location. Comfy bed. TV could be a bit larger but not a big deal.

Great location and the sauna was great! A little tough for the tall, because of a low beam, but all in all we had a fantastic stay.

Great location. Not fancy but met our needs.

The room was nicely appointed and clean. I had one issue - the heat (or lack thereof). I arrived to a cold room, found the heating unit in the bathroom didn't work, turned the heating unit in the main room to high and left. That night I almost slept in my clothes because it was still cold. It took a day and a half for the room to become comfortable. I would have called the owner, but the access information did not include a phone number.

This place is perfect for a short stay. Bed is comfortable and shower is hot. There is a sauna but too hot in The summer for me to try it, It is quiet .
There is no “kitchen” just coffee pot and microwave and small fridge…so don’t plan to cook. There are plenty of restaurants close and the Metropolitan Market has plenty of choices for carry out.

The location of the property is excellent for people who like to be off the beaten path a bit. It was a quiet location close to some easy hiking trails, nice walking paths and really good restaurants.
It is not the place for you if you want to cook or prepare any food. There is no kitchen facility.
We enjoyed our stay and were able to do what we wanted.

It was a nice quiet beautiful neighborhood with shops and restaurants near by. We had unusually hot weather and understood there was no ac which can be common. We could have used a fan as there were several windows but we only kept 1 open because the others all had holes all over the screens large enough for insects. There was a slug on the floor the second day we got back from an outing . We were there for 5 nights and left with 2 towels, 2 washcloths and 1 roll of toilet paper. We did contact the owner who responded quickly that she was away but would have someone drop by with toilet paper and they did by the next morning. We did not receive any additional towels. The owner stated not to use the bathroom sink to rinse dishes because the sink had been previously clogged due to food getting stuck which supposedly was repaired. The sink backed up every time we brushed our teeth so we just turned the water off while doing so. Our stay was disappointing because of these issues and feel they should be addressed before future renting.

Nice room, lovely location, very short on amenities
The location of the room is wonderful. The garden is nice, but the patio furniture is partly broken and uncomfortable. There was only one mug and glass (for two people), and no shampoo for the shower. The only way to wash the few dishes that were available was in the small bathroom sink which was clogged up. It's a nice place to stay for one or two nights, but we were there for 5 nights and it wasn't the right spot for us.

Anniversary Getaway Weekend without Kids
The property was great for a couple. It was close enough to the waterfront, hiking trails, Proctor District and Point Ruston. The studio is below a detached garage. It does have some unique design and construction traits (low beam, steep steps) but other areas, like the private sauna, great water pressure & comfortable furniture make up for them. The TV could be larger but it worked for the room. The Apple TV and Direct TV were nice to have. The owner was great with communication and made herself available if needed but only saw her or the family on our way out. We had a wonderful active & relaxing weekend.
