Ein unvergessliches Familienwochenende in einer tollen Stadt.

Tolles familiäres Ambiente in einem stilvollen Altbau, gutes Frühstück, super Lage zur Altstadt, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind recht individuell gestaltet.

WLAN hat nicht immer funktioniert und ein Zimmer war nicht rechtzeitig fertig, es wurde noch renoviert.

Classically Beautiful Rooms and Hotel with wonderfully kind and helpful owners and staff

The owners and staff are amazingly gracious and helpful. The room was absolutely beautiful in a classic and elegant way. The updates made to make the rooms modern did not strip away the historic charm of the room, common spaces in the hotel, and fine details - it is elegant and classically gorgeous, but with updated bathrooms and plenty of modern power outlets. The breakfast is wonderful. The location gives very easy access to the main train station and is in easy walking distance of the Munsterplatz and other places visitors come to see. We loved, loved, loved this hotel.

The internet was a little spotty, slow and challenging to connect to at times. Many of the tv channels did not get a signal. Both of these are extremely minor things that did not take away from how much we loved the hotel and appreciated the kindness of the owners and staff.

Good location and comfortable stay

Hotel was located close to the railway station and within walking distance of the city centre. Staff friendly and hotel clean. Breakfast was fine - the usual continental offerings. Shower was small, but fine.

We were on the top floor and as there was no lift had to carry a number of heavy bags up to our room, after a long day's travel. However, this was mentioned in other reviews and I understand why it is not possible to have a lift in the building. If we stayed here again the staff suggested we request a room on a lower floor.

Quaint historic hotel in the middle of everything

This is a quaint, historic hotel just a couple of blocks from the main station on a quiet street. It is close to all the main attractions and they serve an excellent breakfast for a reasonable extra charge.

It was a bit expensive for what you get.

Würde sich gerne immer wider kommen!

Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes, sehr gut vorbereitetes Personal. Romantische Ausstattung. Sehr gute, fast zentrale Lage ; nah zum Bahnhof, nah zum Zentrum. Auto kann man auf dem Parkplatz unter dem nah liegenden Bahnhof kostengünstig abstellen und mit dem von dem Hotel ausgehändigten Parkticket tausend Mal am Tag und Nacht rein und rausfahren. Die Kosten sind am Ende im Preis als Pauschale für die Parkzeit inbegriffen. In den Zimmern gibt es Klimaanlagen. Frühstücksaal mit der sonnigen Antresole und Blick auf die Straße. Zum Abschied gab uns die Hotel- Besitzerin ein nettes, schnuckeliges Gläschen vom selbst gemachten Bergsalz- es schmeckt fantastisch!!

Etwas problematisch für die ältere, ggf. durch die Zeit und Krankheiten gezeichnete Gäste kann der Mangel am Aufzug sein, wo man mit den Koffern Treppe auf steigen muss, aber es ist ein historisches Gebäude, in welchem solche baulichen Maßnahmen nicht möglich durchführbar wären. Etwas nervig können an warmen Abenden und Nächten die etwas alkoholisch angeheiterten Passanten sein, die keine Einsicht auf die Nachtruhe nehmen und beim vorbeilaufen laut brüllen, was für den nächtlichen erholsamen Schlaf nicht besonders förderlich ist.

Äußerst angenehm und wertvoll.

Das Frühstück ist liebevoll zubereitet und schmeckte wunderbar. Gerade die Vielfalt war entzückend. Das Zimmer erfüllte unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz. Und die Lage ist echt topp. Man kann fissläufig die ganze Altstadt erreichen. Nicht zu vergessen die wundervolle Herzlichkeit der Frauen und Männer, die dort arbeiten.

We highly recommend this hotel when staying in Friedburg. However, make your reservations early!

Excellent location; side street, off the main road. Breakfast was outstanding.
