Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Zimmer hatte eine ruhige Lage und war sehr geräumig incl. schönem, großzügigem Bad. Highlight war das Frühstück - sehr fein und optisch toll angerichtet. Dazu ausgesprochen freundliches Personal (auch am Empfang)

Gefällt mir sehr gut, würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

Tolle sehr zentrale Lage und dennoch relativ ruhig in einer Seitengasse gelegen. Sehr modern und chic ausgestattet. Eigene Tiefgarage perfekt! Frühstück perfekt!

Leider hat das Hotel seit einigen Monaten keine Bar mehr für den abendlichen Absacker, aber das kann man ersatzweise im Restaurant machen.

Good option for a stay in Karlsruhe

The staff were warm and welcoming, attentive to our requests. The room was very clean and spacious, it had all the amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The bathroom was new, spacious and well-lit. There were plenty of options in the breakfast buffet, with coffee, eggs and other delicacies made on demand as well! The garage had plenty of parking places fitting our mid-sized car, with controlled entrance to keep it safe overnight.

The pillows were on the (too) thin side for us, and the towels felt a bit tired. The A/C could only be switched on if the outdoor temperature was above 22 degrees, even though the indoor temperature was 25 degrees. While this makes sense environmentally, having the windows open during the night to cool down the room meant that we had to bear the noise from ambulances passing by and the window shutters rattling in the wind, which made for an uneasy sleep.

I liked the vast breakfast. I liked the convenient parking. I liked the the convenient location.

I didn't like the rather limited checkout times (especially considering that the city is 1 hour out from the closest international airport). Fortunately the hotel was accommodating and were able to help me at my early check-out. I just needed to coordinate this ahead of time.

Very comfortable and with a nice breakfast

We booked this hotel for our wedding party. My husband and I had one room, my parents another, and my sister had a single room. We were all on the same floor, which was something we requested and they accommodated. We had the breakfast included, which was a nice continental style, but you could also request things like Weißwurst or other hot items. I think the breakfast was worth it if you aren't looking to try places in Karlsruhe out. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was great, barrier-free shower. I really liked everything about the room. There was on-site parking for a fee, though it was limited and I don't think you'd get parking nearby if it were full. The hotel is very accessible to public transit, so we parked the car and didn't move it while we were in town.

It was a little awkward having to get our bags and everything from the underground parking that was across the street in a different building, but I don't think there's anything to be done about this. It would have been perfectly convenient if we'd been housed in the same building as the reception (the hotel has two separate buildings, one where the reception is and the other cross the street).

Friendly, clean and comfortable

Really helpful and friendly staff. Very clean with a good bathroom and good bed. Room was quiet and the food was excellent --- both an evening meal and breakfast.

The wifi was on an unsecured network and wouldn't work on either of our laptops. For one night we could work around it.

Staffs are helpful. Hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood with private car park(5€ on ground, 10€ underground). Supermarket is right next to the hotel. Good breakfast. Train stop just a few minutes walk.

Nice hotel. Definitely I will stay at Rio hotel if I pass by Karlsruhe

The room was spacious and nicely renovated and very clean. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good.

No negatives. Probably the lobby need to be renovated.
