Posizione super centrale. Tutto lo staff molto professionali e cordiali. Stanze e bagni grandissimi e luminosi.
Riscaldamento camera troppo alto!

Гостиница - дворец, поэтому надо вымыть хрустальные люстры на всём этаже «0»;

If you like to immerse in history, you would certainly like Piacentini’s Hotel Plaza Rome. You will transport yourself in time and enjoy its high ceilings, rich frescoes and marbles. You will take pleasure in its multiple receptions, in the peaceful quiet atmosphere, that makes time stop. Prominent figures such as Charles de Gaulle, Umberto Eco, Pietro Mascagni, Sir Winston Churchill, Gianni Versace, George Clooney, to name a few, enjoyed the same tranquility you will do. It’s surrounded by charming restaurants and shops, thanks to its central location. The staff is really fantastic, alert, helpful and always with a smile. A wonderful, peaceful experience, plenty of luxury. I will highly recommend it.
Perhaps, it will complete the experience to have room service, but then, you have a bar downstairs.

Hotel was grand and spacious... you felt like you were the only ones there

The Hotel location was excellent, right in the heart of the city.
First allocated room was good but it had a double bed, having requested a twin room before hand we asked to be moved. The second room, no 351 had a two large single beds pushed together and fixed to the wall via headboards which we accepted as needed to relax. The room was very tired with power sockets coming away from the wall and the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor.

I love the location and the classic European feel of this hotel.
Despite my constant request, the air conditioning was not working during my entire stay. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Amenities in the room were lacking like bath robes, a coffee machine and even laundry bags.

Location. Historical building
Although hotel stuff tried his best the stay was dissappointing. Short number of team. Lack of service. Rooms not clean. Such a beautifull building in an increadible location and yet 2 stars quality.

Very spacious rooms, hotel is centrally situated and is very well presented for its age.
The bar fridge is very small and hardly keeps anything cold

A wonderful way to finish off our 4-week holiday in Europe with a spurge at the beautiful Grand Plaza. The staff were wonderful, addressing us by name throughout our stay, making us feel known and welcomed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel was stunning inside; beautifully designed throughout, in keeping with the history of the hotel. Being on the main street of Rome, the hotel is within walking distance from major attractions and in the heart of the shopping area.
Special thanks to staff Matteo, Miguel and Ali who made our stay memorable and enjoyable.
It was all wonderful! No complaints at all.

Amazing hotel and staff..the best hotel in Rome

great central location and a beautiful hotel. Downsides… mix up on checking in and therefore wasn’t given best room. No wifi in room first two days so had to change room. TV didn’t work (not even a Smart TV!) Tried to call reception several times with no answer and they don’t call you back. Really cold at night (hot in the day but no heating put on until November). Was charged €20 for them to take breakfast up onto their own terrace! this was apparently the room service fee but it was not sent to our room! Breakfast buffet was closed and so was terrace restaurant. It was not clear on breakfast menu which was the one included in the rate… I was assured all breakfasts were included… ended up paying €66 for two coffees, two little cakes and for it to be sent up to the breakfast terrace. We booked two separate rooms but we were only given one breakfast between the two of us and each time charged for the coffee which showed on the menu that it was free. Not impressed with some of the staff attitudes. Really felt I was being ripped off. Yes it’s a beautiful hotel but would not recommend I’m afraid.
all the above

the location is perfect, walking distance to all of the sightseeing attractions and nice restaurants. Taxi rank just across the road, lovely rooftop bar/restaurant, friendly and helpful staff.
to say it is 5 star is a stretch. felt more like a 3 or 4 given how dated the place is. spoke to a local who said it needs closing down and full decorated before it allows guests. We had a bath with no shower head, told reception it was a lot of money for a room with no shower but apparently we need to specify that we want to shower.
