It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind away from the city

Large room and beautiful bathroom area very wall appointed. View from the balcony stunning mountain views and the lake. The spa area at this hotel was great. Breakfast there was a great choice, with eggs cooked to order. Staff and hotel manager very welcoming and informative of the best places to visit during our short trip. Would return to this hotel
Can not think if anything

wonderful hotel with excellent spa and rooms
the service at the breakfast was not good. had to constantly ask for what I ordered only for them to forget.

Very new and excellent facilities, loved the SPA and indoor pool and the room was large and cozy. Great to have daily activities planned for you (in addition to skiing). The yoga teacher was great.
Breakfast was also great, had plenty of choice, both on the buffet and a la carte.
Easy to reach with a short walk from the train station.
Despite all personnel was trying their very best and, individually, they are all very nice people, it felt there is an overall lack of organisation. Rooms were made very late in the day (we would find the cleaning lady in the room at 3pm when coming back from skiing). On the first day we found the saunas off and needed to wait an hour to use them (they simply forgot). We could give a lot of other small example.. all to say that with a bit more attention to details in the service, the stay would have been rated higher

Such a relaxing place after a long day in the mountains around Arosa. Amazing new hotel with super professional staff and modern facilities. A great spa to exercise and relax, wonderful cozy rooms that are quiet and comfortable with contemporary design. Super central and close to all there is to do in Arosa. We loved how welcoming they are with dogs, and our puppy was certainly happy to stay at the Valsana! We were also surprised by the many interesting activities that the hotel proposed daily. We will gladly be back.
Breakfast was a little disorganised or missing items at times but staff was always positive and available to fix the issue. For the hotel restaurant Twist, we would have loved also a more varied menu for repeat guests like us, as the choices were limited or veering towards expensive. A note on the cost of tap water, which we found too expensive (6 CHF) compared to a bottle of Coke or a cocktail.

Lovely, recently updated large rooms, very kind and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast offerings and very nice restaurant. Loved location with bike rentals in the building and abundance of trails minutes away

From start to end, our time at Valsana Arosa was an exceptional experience. As we were checking in, the hotel director, Claudio introduced himself to us and made us feel welcome. All of the staff are amazing, and they couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was as relaxing as possible.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and everything is pretty much brand new. The spa is abolutely stunning, with three sauna/ steam rooms available, as well as a beautiful pool area and relaxation spaces.
My partner celebrated her 40th birthday there, which the staff were well aware of, and they helped add a lot of little touches that made our time there extra special. From simple things like a small birthday gift of wildflower seeds, to making a birthday cake and delivering it to our room. We enjoyed a fondue on our balcony, delivered to us by Yuri, who was very friendly and extremely helpful in explaining how to fondue.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfasts, lunch and dinner on one evening, all of which was excellent. The bar is also well stocked with locally sourced beers and wine, amongst other things.
All in all, a great experience which we shan't ever forget. We can't wait to get to relive the experience again soon!
We can't fault a thing.

Breakfast was simply terrific

Unique, sustainable alpine hotel in carefully maintained surroundings near Arosa railway station and Obersee (lake). Warm welcome by the Director and staff. Large glass windows (in rooms, restaurant, SPA) and spacious balconies / terraces provide unique views of the mountain landscape and the lake. Excellent food and attentive service. Wonderful SPA with a variety of relaxing rooms. Sustainably designed, charging stations for e-cars, arosa card. Unfortunately, our stay was only short - we will be happy to come back for a longer time.

Amazing staff, amazing food, excellent room and overall fantastic experience. Cannot say enough how lovely this hotel is, one of our favorites in Switzerland! We really enjoyed the in-room fondue experience, and especially appreciated the warm welcome for our little dog.

the room with very bathroom, the view schoss the lake, the spa and the gym on the 1st floor
breakfast choice was a little limited

I like the style of the hotel, even if it's a pretty expensive hotel, it's not about gold everywhere :)
I liked how things were organized, like I could use my room key everywhere (parking, ski room). It's just due to covid it was a bit weird to ask to access the spa area.
We enjoyed the spa area a lot, when we were there we were almost alone (but note that it were working days and not too late).
The view from the room was great.
We ordered room service couple of times, it was quick and handy.
Reception helped me a lot with the daycare for the kid.
Hotel also nicely provided us with sledges and some sandwiches for the way home.
I also did one yoga class, that was beautiful, thanks Tanya!
I know that's a bit stupid, but I was sorry to not find this beautiful cover on the bed you can see on the pictures on Booking.com.
The breakfast options were pretty limited, from hot dishes you can have only eggs and porridge. No "healthy" smoothies or avocado tosts you would expect in the place like this.
Options in restaurant were also pretty limited and exotic. You can have that for a couple of days, but not longer.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful design, amazing view from our huge ( apartment) too floor terasse. Beautiful spa area and facilities.

Good central location for guests without a car - close to the train station, buses and free cable cars, yet still quiet at night. Lovely, spacious room; bathroom had a generously-sized tub for soaking after hikes. We chose the panoramic lake-view double and loved sitting in the sun on our balcony overlooking the Obersee. Pleasant, if small, relaxation pool. The hotel was well run and COVID-safe. Very friendly staff. Overall, a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Will come again.
Arosa is somewhat developed, which will not suit everyone, but for us the pluses - choice of activities and restaurants, good hiking - far outweighed the minuses - the construction site about 250 metres from the hotel did not bother us, as our lake-view room faced away from it and noise was minimal. The selection of cooked items at breakfast was rather small - no sausages, for example - but the omelettes, cooked to order, were a great start to the day.

Great hotel in an idyllic place! Beautiful design of the room with everything one needs for comfort (record player is a highlight), great views, special smoothies at breakfast, very friendly and welcoming. Check out their moving mountains program for unique experiences, not to be missed! Perfect place to relax and explore breathtaking landscapes around Arosa
