Location.
The hotel was mostly fine (small room, of course there is no roof and no light on the balcony), but the fact that you have to book an expensive meal every day in a restaurant, which has the same menu every day, is extremely poor.

Room was great with sea and lighthouse views, restaurant menu was diverse and food was well prepared. I love this part of France...it reminds me of Cornwall in the UK only less traffic!
Underground parking was very useful for us.
It was a shame that the gastro restaurant was not open during our visit.

restaurant excellent

Excellent location, great views, lovely staff, high quality restaurant
Not well maintained…smell in the corridors, mould on the ceiling and in the grout of the shower. Housekeeping not very efficient…failed to replace towels taken for laundering and soap in soap dish etc

Lovely setting. Interesting landmarks. Bistro satisfying. Good location for exploring.
Gourmet restaurant, more style than substance. Room fixtures and furnishings could be upgraded Teardrop chairs on the floor.

Great location with a great view from the coast, coastal road easily accessible and great hiking way. Good food in the restaurant
Unfortunately the pool as well as main sauna were out of order. We booked this place as it had sauna. Just a small one was open which was ok but placed a bit weirdly as people from the meeting rooms went on the terrace where the little sauna was placed.

The location is lovely and the food at the gastronomic restaurant was excellent. The staff were helpful throughout our stay - especially Patrick in the bar!
The swimming pool was closed for maintenance (a broken filter) for most of our stay and only re-opened the morning we left.

It's a nice hotel and has a genuinely outstanding Michelin starred restaurant.
You must either be a very keen walker to stay here or have and be prepared to use a car. It truly is at "the end of the world". The monastery ruins, the lighthouse and the marine memorial are of interest but once done, there is nothing to do other than walk. Not necessarily a negative but be aware of it.
The bedroom was a good size with a separate area that had a huge bath in it (with no hand shower attached) but the bathroom was ridiculously small and the shower thus very hard to squeeze into and out of. And when I say small, I mean, tiny - one person could just about stand up in it in front of the basin and mirror.

Very nicely located next the the lighthouse and the sea, small road in front of the hotel but during the night very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff at the check-in.
Breakfast is too complicated (for me :-)), some things you find at the buffet, some are brought to the table, fridge that not only me struggled to open....restaurant area that was open is quiet small (but with very expensive menues), so I'm happy, that I decided to eat somewhere else. Breakfast tables not cleaned, when you enter the nice room, you don't know, which tables are still in use or prepared with bred for the next customer.

Helpful staff. We loved our room with a balcony and sea view. The rest of our party asked for the lighthouse view but that’s also overlooking the road (not busy). There are cliff top walks and breathtaking views. Great for painters like me.
The chef was trying to provide ‘fine dining’ but would have preferred a less fancy menu.
Breakfast was perfect.

Location fantastic. Nice bar. Good rooms and friendly staff.
Mostly all good. The bistro menu could offer more variety.
4.3
The view and the location are stunning
The pool limited to 30mn. The old sommelier was trying to sell you his wine no matter your liking

Location at the far end of pointe Saint Mathieu
Restaurant is fantastic
Large rooms
Maintenance could be reinforced
Due to Covid , breakfast in rooms not at the level corresponding to 4 stars

A high priced luxury hotel in a prime location directly opposite the main attraction of the area. Our room was stunning, the bathroom divine. We hoped for a view of the lighthouse but didn't get it, but we could see its beam sweeping by every few seconds through our great windows. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner.
Not much, but better lighting in the room over the desk would be a good start. The ECO approach to turning heating off during the day, and late at night reduced our comfort. Guests should be able to relax in their room with full comfort at any hour of the day or night.
