All the hotel team is amazing, they understand your needs relative to the goal of your stay. I was there for a sport competition (spartan race) and they was able to adapt the breakfast schedule. Also the team prepared special menu for the athlete.
Nothing to declare

This is such a gem of a hotel. The staff are lovely, the location is really great for skiing (the Super-Morzine bubble is a short walk and from there there is a bus or a little train to the Pleney lift from there!). The food is outstanding - such good quality for a little hotel the pool and hot tub after skiing is just perfect. The set menu is awesome - my daughter had scallops pretty much everyday - and the carbonara is outstanding! There are specials for entree, main course and fish course every day!! The menu included duck, veal and venison! The salads were fresh and generous. The 3 courses include a choice of fabulous desserts or a massive cheese board! The wine list is lengthy and the lovely waitresses keep your table topped with water the whole way through the meal.
The rooms are clean and the storage is really good, certainly enough for 3 people plus kit - our room also had a large balcony with a lovely view of the run down to the Pleney lift. The bathroom was small and the water pressure was fine (sometimes a problem in Alpine resorts)
I had booked a different hotel originally and then changed to this based on location and I am so happy that we did. The owners are always around, and were super helpful with my questions over email when I was planning the trip. We hired our skis from Skiset Carabou2 which is at very close and also near the SuperMorzine gondola where there is a boot room which we used rather than the boot room in the hotel so I can't comment on that. If we return to Morzine then we will definitely try to get back to Alpen Roc.
The ski area was in poor nick due to the lack of snow but because its so huge we always found somewhere to ski, even if we gave up earlier than we would ordinarily do - it was great to come back to such a homely hotel for a dip and a snooze before dinner.
I noticed that there were lots of Tesla charging stations - not sure whether they are for guests or not, but they might be worth asking if you have one?
This is tough - but the family room was a tight squeeze with all our gear and the hotel was so warm we had to leave our balcony door open whenever we were in the room. Not a terrible problem to have obviously, and pretty standard for ski hotels. The bar area is small compared to other places I have stayed and not open til later on, so we tended to go our to Morzine after skiing for a post-ski vin chaud. All of these small issues do not detract from the massive positives of the hotel. For travellers with children with a limited palate, the kid's menu is quite limited with chicken nuggets or burgers - personally I liked this as after the first day my daughter was forced to broaden her horizons which she really enjoyed.

Thank you to the team for the friendly welcome! We appreciated the quietness, swimming pool and easiness of getting a coffee first thing after a long night out ;)

Rooms were very spacious for a ski hotel in France and the beds reasonably comfortable. The kids loved the pool and hot tub.
The food was very good but, while not a problem for us, did not include any vegetarian options.
The service was also very good, they even catered for us the first night when we arrived (due to flight delays) late.
The kids menu could have been a little more expansive - it had either steak hache, fries and salad or chicken fingers, fries and salad. While these were very fresh, homemade and lovely, I feel they could have had a couple more options, or at least a pasta option.
Similarly on the "local specialities" night - currently Monday night, offering the kids menu would have been great. My kids (who I admit are pretty fussy) ate nothing but french bread.
