Great location beautiful breakfast great choice every morning, we stayed 3 nights over a weekend to celebrate a family wedding, friendly helpful staff, evening meals very expensive, especially deserts priced at €10.00 also a vodka and sparkling water over €10.00 also. We had a fridge in our room which was a good bonus. Fresh milk provided by hotel every day for tea facilities in room which was a nice touch.
Very expensive for a weekend stay, family of 3, food and drinks very expensive, deserts priced at €10 is way too much especially and a sparkling water and a vodka over €10 also.

We had an amazing stay at the Armada. The staff, from the maintenance staff to restaurant staff and those at reception are truly an asset to this hotel. They are friendly, courteous and treated us like we were family! We loved Johnny’s pub next door to the hotel and again the bar staff were exemplary. It’s difficult to explain how they made our stay so positive-you have to go to experience it for yourself. The level of mutual respect between management & staff was very clear. The food, from the brown bread to the dinner & breakfast was divine made all the better by the breathtaking views which surround the Armada. Our room was spacious and clean. I have waited a long time to stay at this hotel and it did not disappoint. Thank you to all the staff.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable due to the soft mattress.

Excellent food. Comfortable room. Fantastic staff at reception. Nice touches like chocolates and baileys in the room, dessert for my husband as he was celebrating his birthday. One of the best dinners we've yet and fab waiter.
Water flow in shower not consistent but that's so minor.

I have stayed at a number of amazing hotels but both me and my partner were amazed with our stay here, granted we did go for the Seascape Suite, it was not "cheap" but you got a lot for your money, the facilities were amazing, the pictures of the room do not do it justice, as well as the tub in the room, there is a huge walk in shower another tub and double sinks in the bathroom. The view was stunning (we were lucky to have beautiful clear sky for a lovely sunset). The bar and dining facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive (not overly so). Would highly recommend it for a treat, a beautiful setting in a unique part of the World!
Nothing tbh, would be very difficult to find fault with this hotel and it's staff.

The Seascape room had an exceptional view. The location was perfect for exploring Kilkee and Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Evening strolls on the beach to watch the sunset across the Atlantic made it even more special. The staff at the front desk were exceptional and worked hard to ensure we were happy with our stay.
If you book a Seascape room, make sure you ask for one that does not overlook the parking lot. Not all Seascape rooms have the view that is listed in the photos on this website.

View, Breakfast,
Extremely noisy bedroom 121 ( superior room) directly above door of ballroom where wedding was taking place. Noise seemed to come up in a channel from the floor underneath. Wedding ended and then what felt like a rave started 15 minutes later. Reported problem to Joe night staff who discovered it was staff clearing the wedding area. We were given foam earplugs and an assurance that there was no wedding the following night. Spoke to lady at breakfast next day who agreed to report to General Manager. Same problem again that day as they were filming a commercial until 4pm ( loud band music non stop).Again spoke to staff at reception who said they would report to General manager. Charged full price when we left so effectively nothing done to compensate us.
Dinner - Aileen’s
Main course fish special was lukewarm
Extremely short staffed probably because of wedding. Waiter agreed not to charge for my dessert
Bathroom-
No extractor fan just a heated mirror. Window was inside bath so you had to climb in to open it. Shower gels /shampoo/conditioner were wall hung at the end of the bath which meant one had to step out of the shower spray to access them

Sea view was breathtaking. Breakfast was sublime. Lovely cosy bar for drinks with excellent music.
Toilet hadn't been fully cleaned on arrival but staff did sort it while we were gone for dinner.

We booked an Ocean View suite and could not have been happier with our choice.
Beautiful room with breath taking views and really comfortable bed. Massive bathroom with bath included.
On check in we popped down to Johnny Burkes bar for a drink and bowl of soup (make sure you try the soup).
Later we ate down stairs in the Ocean Bar, fantastic food and staff extremely helpful.

The food at breakfast, and the food in the restaurant was really good, the views outside the hotel were lovely and the hotel room was very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
We had an internally facing view, which was quite disappointing considering the location of the hotel is overlooking the sea

Beautiful, spacious ocean view room. Very clean with good facilities; the record player was a lovely touch. It felt very luxurious to have a Christmas tree in the room. Excellent breakfast and good choice of food available. Would definitely return.
Perhaps a little more attention from staff-though many would be grateful for their unobtrusive approach. Help with luggage and being shown to the room would have been nice.
