Everything was great ! The employees are lovely and try to respond of your need. Our room for 6 was nice. The hôtel is near the black beach of Perissa. The swimming pool was great!

Best holiday in a long time, reasonable price, good location - would recommend and hope to stay again!

Sea Wave was in great location in Perissa which feels less touristy than some of the other places on the island. sea Wave is a five minute walk from the beach and many restaurants and shops so nice to be able to just walk in for dinner if you don’t want to travel in the evenings. We loved our room which was spacious and cool. The bed was comfortable and I think a superking. Our room also came with a private hot tub which is as a real highlight of the holiday and meant we got the hot tub experience without the high price tag you’d pay in Oia and Fira. The hotel pool was also very nice and generally very quiet.

The only draw backs were a couple of things about our room that overall was lovely but needed a couple of things to really feel finished. Our room didn’t have any drawers, just a wardrobe with three coat hangers which for a week stay meant we could only hang three items and everything else had to just stay in the suitcases. There was also no iron so everything that wasn’t hung was creased from being in the suitcase and couldn’t be ironed. The curtains in the main room were black out which was great but the bathroom window had no curtains and with the glass panel between the bathroom and bedroom meant the all the light from that window came straight into the bedroom at 5/6am. We did discover that the bed runner was made out of the same blackout material as the curtains though so just used that to trap in the window each night. Just would have been nice not to have to do that! One last niggle was that it seems like during power cuts and automatic emergency light comes on and can’t be switched off, again not ideal in the middle of the night but we covered in with a shirt. None of these are big things, just little things you’d notice if you stayed there and would be great improvements.

Everything In One Sanctuary- Sea Wave Hotel

I love the Sea Wave Hotel!! Impeccable location just a minute walk from the beach with many wonderful restaurants for every taste, and many sunbeds to savor the day. In spite of the closeness to the beach I found myself spending most of my time at the hotel!! For its peacefulness and simplicity and the beauty of the surrounding mountains. I feel a deep sense of calm here. I was fortunate to be given a room right in front of the pool so I feel like an absolute princess opening my doors to the glowing blue waters. Everything is clean, the staff is very friendly - it feels like home and family. And the rate is absolutely unbeatable in general and being this close to the sea and popular travel destination of Perissa, Santorini. Highly recommend!

Fabulous proper Greek accommodation

If you want authentic Greek accommodation then this is the place to stay and in a quiet area.. The owner and staff were exceptional nothing was a bother.. The pool was accessible and very inviting.. Can't recommended this place enough.. And it was nice to have someone there on hand if you needed anything and he is called Mo.. Thank you.

It was really dirty and old. Very expensive for what it is. Far from the caldera which is fine but very uncomfortable. The pictures aren't accurate at all. I left early.

Not worth the price!

Pool was nice and the location is one block from the beach.

Photos are deceiving, it does not look that nice. Really rundown, the heavy blanket was dirty and had hair on it so I didn’t use it. A/C is noisy, but you get a big bottle of filtered water because you can’t drink the tap water. 3 old local guys where sitting in the lobby and not one offered to help drag my suitcase up the steep stairs, including the owner/manager. Walls are paper thin and I heard a guy spitting up and upstairs moving furniture.. You have to ask for everything. Toilet paper, pool towels, water etc. The towels are old, crunchy and stained! Ugh. there’s no wifi at the pool. The room door was difficult to lock and I had to call the owner. Room feels like summer camp, minimal and very run down. The owner/manager is miserable and rarely cracked a smile. The room was over $120 cdn/night which is way too much for the conditions. Do not recommend.

Did not meet expectations

Allows late check-in. Good WiFi and flat screen tv.

Beds were really uncomfortable. Room were tired. TV but no signal. Socket for aircon hanging off wall on arrival. Scruffy neighbourhood. Although we were given a five person room (we booked twin) the room was really claustophobic as what had been a room with a high ceiling had been adapted to generate a mezine level for a twin bed.

A hidden gem

Great location and staff. Mo kindly arranged our taxi transfers he is a font of local knowledge and so helpful. lovely atmosphere. by the pool with travellers from all over the world. Good value. Super close to shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and the beach Thank you, we loved our stay.

Great location, amazing pool and great host.

Location was great! Walking distance to the beach and an abundance of restaurants. The pool was amazing! We spent so much time in the pool, it was always blue and beach towels were provided. The Air-conditioning in the room was good, although we had a split level apartment so it was really hot at the top and really cold at the bottom. The host was really great, very helpful and always present.

The apartment could do with some maintenance - things like the shower doors falling off, curtain rails falling off, weird smells from drains etc. The kitchenette could do with a toaster, it was very minimalist and had just enough to make it work.

THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND EXACTLY WHAT WAS NEEDED. THE LOCATION WAS GOOD BUT WE HAD A CAR BUT FOUND OUT THAT THE BUS STOP WAS NOT TOO FAR AWAY

We had a great holiday in Perissa Sun Wave - value for our money

Good location, perfect beach, nice pool and excellent Mo! The apartment was partly renewed, looking nice. We had a balcony and a terrace so we could always choose for the shadow or sun.

Some of the beds could enjoy a better mattress.

Pleasant stay

Sea Wave is in a good position in relation to Beach, Shops, Restaurants and Buses. The manager Mo was very helpful, gave us towels for pool and beach. Room was cleaned every day. We hired a car and visted Oia to view beautiful sunset. Also excursion to Volcano and Thirasia Island which was lovely. Weather was brilliant throughout our stay. Free aircon and WiFi a bonus . Mo also arranged transport to Airport and our hire car .

Although our stay was lovely, the single beds were a bit uncomfortable and the cooking utilities could do with updating. Also shame the pool snack bar was not open during our stay .

Wonderful, excellent, relaxing, 5 star stay!!

The stay was absolutely wonderful. The property was clean and to a very high standard. The staff was amazing and me and my wife are already planning on coming back! The pool was great and our privat pool made it even mor cozier! Me and my wife recommend this hotel to everyone!

very good location only 5 minutes from the beach, market close by and bakery as well. Mo the manager was very kind and helpful and gave us every information needed.

The hot tub was not so hot so in the evening it was too cold to go inside.

Fantastic place if you want to have a nice, relaxing holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and works really hard so that you have a great holiday. The hotel is located at the perfect spot. It's only five mins away from the beach and 5 mins away from the main road with bus stop, bakery and supermarket and still the area is very quiet.
