Lovely location
Comfortable room
The engine from the outdoor pool was rather noisy, preventing us from sleeping with open windows.

We had access to the Spa in our reservation, we arrived at the hotel at 3:30, we went down to the Spa and they told us that it was full.
It is a shame that they sell a service and when customers want to use it, it is completely full.
They should not sell Spa access if they are not sure that they have enough capacity, otherwise they should send an email to customers prior to arrival to do the reservations.

big room , center location, balcony, view of river, free parking.
bad smell in the room . I think from furniture or decoration on the wall inside the sleeping room.

really nice hotel

The location is excellent for access to Caminha central area. Being slightly south of the center area provides a quiet, comfortable base for visiting Caminha. The hotel has a small fitness room with great cardio machines, great dumbbells, adjustable bench and a multi-station machine.
I found the fitness adequate for a basic workout.
The room was without question very nice with a view of the pool area and the hills behind.
The breakfast met my needs with multiple coffee/espresso options, assorted pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and other traditional breakfast items.
Again, the views of the waterfront were quite nice.
Great place to stay. I would like to have an option of checking in prior to 3pm. I also would like to see additional hours added for light lunch during the afternoon since it is about a 1 mile walk into Caminha.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this facility and the services they do provide.
Jeni's Diner in Caminha was a great find. Food was great and the staff was nice to deal with. Please consider checking out Jeni's Diner. You will be glad that you did.

location was too far out from town

We had been hiking and did not arrive until 8pm, so we didn't have an opportunity to take advantage of any of the amenities; however, the staff was wonderful & made a reservation for us at the restaurant across the street. We showered, ate, slept, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast & were off again. We normall wouldn't have paid as much for such a short time, but it was all we could find available. To really get the full value, it would make sense to actually be staying for a longer period of time!

swimming pool beer prices breakfast good free parkinf
no tea and coffee facs, out of town,
3.5
Rooms comfort size and bathroom, the whole pool area, facilities on offer as well as the ambience of the hotel as a whole. Breakfast was well provided and had a fairly good selection of continental breakfast.
I requested that 2 of the 3 rooms I booked to be twin rooms over double rooms, via dedicated dropdown menus on booking.com, unfortunately, this information didn't reach the hotel and I had no other options for the 3 double rooms, which was slightly inappropriate for a few of the guests.
The concierge seemed to be sympathetic, but when assigning rooms and seeing if we would like to book for breakfast and dinner, she developed an unwarranted attitude of impatience with us. She failed to explain a few things about the facilities such as the spa access. Which lead to one of the guests being turned away at their spa booking for inappropriate headwear.
Additionally, bottle beer prices at the hotel bar were virtually double the price of other establishments in the surrounding areas.

Facilities are great and clean.
Good breakfast.
We spent the night of our wedding and there was no kind of special attention to this, even though the staff was aware. We were not expecting any kind of special treatment but for a hotel like this, with all its great facilities (and for what we payed for it), it is expected that there is some kind of attention in these special occasions. Not even late check-out was possible.
