Wouldn't stay here again

Nice location Close to a lot of shops

Stairs to access front door were dangerous and falling apart. Was very scared to actually use them. Kitchen was not clean at all Sink was full of last guest's food Oven wasn't clean - filthy Bed was so uncomfortable, woke up in agony on first night and had to sleep on sofa for remainder of stay.

Perfect for our short stay in Inverness

The studio apartment was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Loads of hot water available and a bath as well as a shower. Smart tv. It's in a good location and the host was very easy to contact and helpful. Good value.

The liquid soaps in the kitchen and bathrooms were almost empty - although there was enough for our stay, it would look better if they were filled.

Disappointing

The host's sister was amazing. She couldn't do enough for us.

Cleanliness was an issue, and the outside area needs lots of TLC. The stairs to the property are also quite steep and wearing in places.

Nice place but needs some work done to upgrade the place, and needs more attention to detail.

the stairs up to the property did not feel safe, they were wooden and very unstable, they need fixing up ! No shower gel nor shampoo in shower. the shower leaked and water was running into the main room , we had to put towels in the corner of the bathroom floor to stop the leakage flowing into the other room.

Wonderful little weekend home for our getaway

Absolutely lovely little home for myself and my partner for a couple nights. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Honestly no issues with it. Was exactly what we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay in treehouse as it was comfortable and cozy, would highly recommend it

Very kind and polite host, cozy and comfortable place, easy to check in

Bed sheets a bit old, if they get chenged that would be great, also stairs a bit difficult to move my luggage

Exceptional

I was there for a residential week at Inverness University, and the location was ideal. As I was there by myself, it was nice to have a self-contained apartment where amenities like cooking facilities gave me flexibility and meant I didn't have to dine out every night. The unit has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and easy stay, with a good check-in and out system. Would definitely recommend this place to both couples and single travellers.

Superb

Comfy bed, good facilities.

Bit of a walk to city center as not as direct as thought it would be and no local busses due to driver shortages or so we were told at bus station. Taxi each way is approx £10

Friendly suburban enclave.

The host was very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home. She responded immediately to a few issues that popped up when we got there with the TV and had some helpful suggestions re stores and getting around. Tbe location was great, a bit more suburburban than we usually do but easily walkable to where we wanted to go. Even the neighbours were friendly, helping with suggestions regarding where to jog, etc. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked for utensils, pots, plates and appliances. The neighbourhood felt very safe and family oriented.

The bed mattress was a bit too soft for our liking and it felt like we would fall off the side if we rolled too close as the side was very soft and giving. Bathroom towels were quite well used, though serviceable and there were no basic bathroom products such as soap for the shower. Minor things that did not take away from our enjoying our stay.

Superb

Comfortable, clean. Everything we needed in a compact and well designed space. Pleasant and quiet setting. Nice decor. Very comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful owner.

Although we still love the idea of a small compact room at the top of a wooden staircase, for older people, the steps seemed a little narrow for carrying cases/bags and the hand rail didn't feel solid enough. Not so much a dislike as an observation.

Stairs are a bit of a challenge! Could do with an icebox in the fridge and a smarter TV, but had a really good stay.

The Treehouse, Inverness

The hosts provided all the information we needed and were very helpful - we didn't need to contact them while there. The property is small but was fine for the two of us for a weekend. It is well kitted out and had everything we needed. It is close enough to town to get a taxi in. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

There are some small cosmetic signs of wear and tear, and the property wasn't quite spotless - but these are very minor points and we were very happy with our stay.
