Staff very welcoming. Accommodation needs good clean and upgrade.

Great view from room. Good food at restaurant. Friendly staff. No issues with being swapped to another room after finding unsatisfactory bathroom facilities and unclean fridge in initial room allocated on arrival.

Bathroom unit in initial room allocated; ( Rm 4 ); was in disrepair, with shower unit itself absolutely filthy. Unable to see through the glass of the shower unit due to the caked on soap scum which also extended over the tiled area of the shower. There were strands of hair in the fridge, one in the freezer drip tray which also had rusty coloured water in it. The view of the mountains; as advertised; was partially obstructed by the restaurant balcony. We were upgraded to a much larger room- (Rm 25) without any problems; which we appreciated. Bonus of the room change was an unimpeded view of the mountains. Although the bathroom was in a much better condition, the shower unit in the upgraded room was also caked in soap scum. There were no fresh supplies of tea, coffee or sugar either. This was despite the room having just reportedly been cleaned. We ended up scrubbing the shower unit ourselves rather than complain a second time. We received no room service to replace towels, toilet paper or tea and coffee supplies over the 5 night period we stayed. Very disappointing.

The name of the establishment, Tranquil Park, sums it up. I love staying there.

What could be better than to wake up to 180* views of the Glasshouse mountains with cows grazing in a meadow in the foreground? It is a slice of heaven. As usual, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and go out of their way to be thoughtful and kind.

Large room good value

Spacious, comfortable beds, good water pressure and amazing views from balcony

There was no curtain on the sliding door making it very bright in the afternoon The spa bath had broken nozzles and shower glass needs a proper scrub or possible replacing Balcony needs barriers between rooms for privacy

Great place to stay for the view and quiet but definitely not palatial. Good for a short stay. y

The view was amazing and it was very peaceful and relaxing The rooms were large and had a great verandah.

It was a bit rundown and the furniture and building was old. It was clean and had new appliances though.

Amazing. We'll be back.

We loved everything! The view, the comfy bed, the warm shower and tea/coffee making facilities. Everything we needed to get a good night's sleep and tackle the zoo the next day. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and we were so close to a litle village with the most amazing pies and coffee for breakfast in the park with a train pulling in at the station across the road. Loved it all!

Couldn't fit our Landcruiser under the awning outside our room and had to park up above... my 80 year old Mum had trouble with all the steps. But this is really picking hairs... its our fault we have so many arials and things... There was really nothing I didn't like!

this place is a health hazard, dangerous walking around outside of a night due to lack of lighting

The bed was comfortable, quiet location.

lack of lighting to see way from room to restaurant, due to rain everywhere was wet and slippery very dangerous, the veranda boards were rotting the mould on everything was terrible, luck no one has fallen through and injured themselves, this place is a health risk, needs some major Maintenance, the room costs are very expensive so they should be able to put some back into repairs, I won’t be back.
