Nice hotel, nice pool. Need better management!

Having a pool, also the room was nice.

The management. No customer service. Felt like everyone was an inconvenience. He put gates up and padlocks so no visitors could get to the pool. No friendly communication. Always watching guests. The 2 female members of staff were lovely though.

Could be such a lovely hotel but the welcome needs to be far far warmer

Beautiful building and our room was really lovely

The staff were not as hospitable as I’ve found almost everywhere else I stayed. When we asked for anything it felt almost like we were scared as we knew the answer would be no. Very inflexible. We would have spent far more money and time at the hotel. The notice on the door saying they’d close the pool was very unpleasant. We are not school kids but adults who’ve paid a lot of money to ensure we had the facilities we wanted. When asking for drinks it felt we were asking a favour, and then told we had to sit is certain places to consume them. They missed out on a lot of good feeling and therefore money by making us feel we were a massive inconvenience

A quiet place to rest, good parking, lovely garden.

Central location: easy access to many historical sites; great parking. The building itself is lovely. We were disappointed that one of the beautiful antique iron lamps that previously adorned the outside staircase was removed.

Bathroom needs updating, especially the shower, as it’s in a higher bathtub which can be challenging for many to access; hairdryer is inefficient and required a good cleaning. The poor quality of the toilet paper that the hotel continues to use after so many years is not indicative of a 4-star hotel. Interesting sculptures adorn various public areas of this hotel, but at least two may be offensive to some patrons as they suggest certain private activities.

Okay for a one night only

If you're looking for a place to crush for a night, this hotel is perfectly fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The building from the outside does look like a Villa. And the parking spot was spacious.

Our room was on the 1st floor (which was actually ground floor, below the reception level). The building from the outside looks nice and tall, but our suite was on a level with low ceilings, so in general it felt a bit too tight. It was pretty warm in the room and with the air conditioner on all night it was bearable. The pool is not really deep even for a small adult. Plus the place is near multiple highways, so it's always noisy. In general, I think the hotel needs an upgrade and renovation, as everything felt worn out and old. So, for a longer stay the place may appear gloomy.

Very picturesque, charming villa. Breakfast was good.

We asked for a standard bedroom but we ended up in a classic bedroom. Furniture was old and squeaky. Not very well isolated as we could hear the guests from the room above ours.

Firstly, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was very clean, and the room was no exception. The bed was super comfortable and provided a great night of sleep. Lastly, the breakfast had a lot of variety of delicious food. Hoping to come back!
