location, quiet, space, restaurant.
Could be cleaner.
Our room was for 2 adults and child. the sofa bed was ok but bed sheet too basic, quickly setup.
We were there in early November (low season) which is not an excuse to lower the service.

The waitress at Breakfast was nice. We speak English so the language barrier was a little difficult at first but she was able to understand and even offer breakfast items she thought my children would like
The owner was so rude, I called in advance to make sure the room I had booked would be okay for me and my two small children. She said "yes for you and your children". She was the same person who greeted us and checked us into our room. Once we got settled in we headed down to the restaurant for dinner, that's when she decided to approach me and tell me she needed to charge me extra for the additional child. I told her she said it was okay over the phone! She shrugged her shoulders and said she is going to charge me 30€.
I was so upset we decided not to give them anymore of our money and eat elsewhere.

Nice rural location; very efficient staff - despite being very busy on the Sunday night in the restaurant, as hotel guests, we were prioritised & our food arrived very quickly - breakfast also very good
room slightly dated

Breakfast buffet was extremely extensive and delicious! Staff was friendly, spoke English when asked, and willingly accommodated our 4 in one room and 2 in the other.

Amazing place, great location right at the start of the trail to Eltz - Host picked us up from the train station which was great. Food was delicious, everyone was friendly, nice big property in the woods - Highly recommended!
Had trouble with the Wifi but wasn't there long enough to say if this is a consistent issue

The staff were very friendly. Had a nice restaurant on site. Along a creek.
Nothing.

A perfect place when you want to explore the Burg Eltz and the nearby area.
Close to nature and walking. Everything you need at one and the same hotel. Good food and drinks in the restaurant. A silent cosy room with a large bathroom. And best of all - the breakfast with so much to eat and excellent details.
Extra plus for shuttleservice from and to the trainstation in Moselkern. We just hade to phone and tell when we arrived with our train so did they send a car for us. Without extra costs.
Nothing to complain about.

perfect location to see hills

Location is cool, 15 min to Burg Eltz
Breakfast was good but we always had to remind to refill buffets
During our stay there was no wife in the room
Furniture and carpet are quite old

Large room with comfy beds. The owner of the hotel was very friendly. The hotel has two buildings, a main building with reception and restaurant and another building with only rooms. We stayed in the second building which was very quiet. There is a beautiful 40 minute walking trail to Burg Eltz which starts right next to the hotel.
The smell in the room was a bit stale. The room had everything we needed but is a bit outdated, could use an upgrade.
7.0
Restaurant, breakfast. Quiet location.
No reliable internet, no mobile phone signal due to hotel location in deep valley.

The property is set in an incredibly beautiful location at the foothills of hills and forest. You are surrounded by calm sounds of the stream near by, pristine fresh air to rejuvenate your lungs and views of a scenary unmarched. The property sort of had a monopoly of the location too
- The room was nice, the bathroom was small but very sufficient
- The checkin was later than expected, after 3pm, but we went for a walk close by
- The staff was helpful to lend us an umbrella and give us some plastic bag to pack our dirty hiking shoes
- Breakfast was outstanding, very good bread and coffee.
Because of the Monopoly, sometimes the property can take the guests for granted.
- Internet on Day 1 worked only at the restaurant and Lobby of the guest house. Day 2 it was fine
- The tagline of the property was about Love and Laughter, the staff can embrace that a little better. Perhaps they were stressed because of the workload. Especially the younger lady at the reception was always more serious
- The wine was excellent on Day 1, but on Day 2 we got a lot of dregs, which is not acceptable and although we showed it to the waitress, nothing was done, except to give us a look like - What can I do.
- With small improvements in hospitality they will can make an outstanding experience if they want

After complaining about little dirt on the bed linen, the staff was very accommodating and offered several compensation gifts.
The bed linen was a little dirty.

The hotel included breakfast which was delicious. The dinner was amazing as well. I was thrilled to stay in our own little cottage because there were three of us, I think. It was a perfect location for seeing the Burg Eltz which is why I booked it. I couldn't have been happier:)
