Better than expected.

Comfortable bed. Handy to a great bistro.

Exit stairs at back not real suitable for elderly people.

clean and comfortable

no light in the bathroom or bulb in bedside light. security lock chain missing and someone attempted to enter our room with their key several times at 2 am.

door to ensuite hard to open and close. Aircon kept us awake all night no hair dryer, said there was. No shampoo conditioner etc

we would definitely stay again.

location is great, aircon was fantastic, room was clean and linen was fresh and clean. The gentleman who signed us in was friendly, helpful and it was a pain free quick sign in.

the room was muggy when we first walked in and smelt like it had been locked up for years I understand you can’t open every window in the hotel to air rooms out though so maybe a little air freshener or something 😊

Central in town and very comfy. very quiet,even with a pub downstairs which was handy

early start for me on my motorcyle and only 3* outside. Wished it was warmer

not a good nights rest

very good location. could park right out the front of the hotel.

our upstairs room (10) was adjacent to an internal access door. guests came and went through this very noisy door late into the evening. they also stood chatting and having their last smokes on the landing outside our window. at 5:00am next morning they returned to the landing to continue their smoking and chatting, in full voice. they may as well have been in the room with us. at this point I opened the window and asked them to move on, which they did. you should at least the very least avoid this room.

Great central location, easy access between the pub and the room. Simple check in and check out.

Good reviews for food and friendly staff are spot on

The rooms are awful, dirty, sliding door to bathroom broken, paint peeling everywhere, towels tiny so bring your own if you want to dry yourself after a shower. Will not be staying here ever again

Very grubby room. I didn’t feel at ease, everywhere I looked I could see dirt. The staff are lovely!

The staff are so kind, funny and brilliant. It’s on the main road of town, in the centre of everything.

The room was grubby and dirty. There were dirty fingerprints and marks all over the wall and ceiling. There were spatters or liquid on the walls and the fridge was dirty with mould. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mould.
