All! The place is amazing and good vibes.
The hot shower wasn’t working since days before and they didn’t tell us at the check in… we choose that one a little bit more expensive because of that so it was bad this situation.

Double room with ensuite. Had a nice shower and bathroom. Generally pretty quite even with the on-site bar downstairs

The backpackers staying here were amazing and very respectful in the room recognizing someone was sleeping when the lights were off. There was as much or as little socializing as you needed that day. The fan and air conditioner in the room worked well.
The bathrooms were very dirty and had broken showers and sinks. The walls were clearly dirty and had soap and shampoo bottles others left lying there for my whole stay. The shower heads were leaky and some didn’t stay in place. The walls of the showers and the bathroom stalls had dirt or worse on them and the floors were always wet and grimy. The rooms were decent, but had a bunch of random stuff leftover that never got cleaned out from past people that stayed there. The fan was visibly very dusty. I didn’t use the kitchen or laundry so no comments there.

You have to consider backpacker hostels in context of the very high turnover & some people using shared facilities are unhygienic slobs. I had private room which was spartan but huge loads of storage & bed was fine bathroom not the cleanest. Overall it was very tired looking & needs some refurbishment.
Bathroom was bit ramshackle & on the scungy side. The room smelt like either it had been subject to recent pest spraying or someone had been solely using the air con & never opened the windows - this went a bit after leaving the windows open when I entered out. I didn't stay in a dorm but the staining on the doors to these from handmarks was pretty awful the one communal toilet I saw was a hold your breath & don't let your cheeks touch the seat job

Great position & friendly
Bed bugs were a concern unfortunately. Loud noise until wee hours also. But a good intro to youth Hostelling.

The location was perfect! So close to the centre of town or the beach. I love the pool, it's in a great location where you get the sun. The building itself is very unique.
It is one of the dirtiest hostels I've been to. There's only one cleaner and she seems overwhelmed by the amount of ground she has to cover on her own. The bedrooms are so small that it's impossible for her to clean around everyones things. The bedrooms only get cleaned once a week.
The kitchens are tiny and always in a state. I've seen flies flying around my food and the rubbish bins. People dump their used dishes in the sink.
The washing machines are pay by coins only.
There are limited security cameras and I've had a few things stolen from me, there wasn't anything that the staff members could do about it.
The hostel doesn't host any special events or inclusive activities like other hostels have.

My wife and I booked a private room which was excellent. Very spacious room with strong air conditioning, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We enjoyed the pool and used the shared kitchen to cook dinner.
We wanted to order more drinks for happy hour but there was no one at the bar so we gave up.

in the village, just a good place to be.

Great place to stay. I stayed there for two months, and I'm coming back for prob two more months. Two kitchens, plenty of space. You meet a lot of people. The location is great. You're near the beach and shops. The pool is also nice. There's a living room with a tv and some books, also a gym.
Sometimes the wifi doesn't work that well.

There was a lack of plug sockets in the room, none beside the beds on the top bunks

Liked the location and spacious private room.
Loud music left on in common area past 10pm, had to call staff to ask for it to be turned off/down early hours.

Superb location, rooms cool enough for ten people.
Lockers need replaced, showers not in a convenient location for those on the ground floor. $10 towel deposit is a bit steep. generally a bit untidy.

- Room was spacious.
- Hostel had ample washing machines & dryers.
- Large, open lounge & airy TV area.
- Respectful & quiet enough guests.
- Specific area for smokers that guests respected.
- Big pool.
- Hostel located in a very central location but tucked away nice enough for quiet & privacy.
- The ceiling was really mouldy.
- Toilet was very noisy when flushed.
- The entire hostel probably needs a good spruce up.
