Disappointing

The upsides were the location and the noise cancelation windows, but the hotel and especially the staff were pretty disappointing. Otherwise, we got a small room with TV, AC and hair dryer.

The room had a foul smell of stinky feet and we discovered that the winter blanket emitted that smell. Not the greatest place to sleep. The staff was not very understandable. After the reservation we were told by phone that we have to cancel the reservation in order to use holiday vouchers (vouchere de vacanta). We found this weird, because we were unsure if the room will still be reserved for us. At check out (10am) we asked if we can leave the car in carpark for an hour or two but we were denied because the next guests might arrive, even if the checkin was at 2pm and this happened on a sunday. We will not come back to this location anytime soon.

Superb

Casa Alex is very nice, nothing fancy or luxurious just simple and clean, a good value for the price we paid. In the morning we would be expected every day with coffee, orange juice and sweets. This was unexpected and really nice. The room as I said was very clean when we arrived and someone would come and clean every day and take the garbage. The place is very close to the beach, literally 5 minutes walk until your feet touch the sand. Also I would like to mention that the location is baby friendly. We had a baby cot prepared for us the moment we arrived and it was free.

This location would get a 10 from me. There is nothing that I did not like about this place. I strongly suggest that they move to any other place maybe even the mountains because Eforie Nord is a terrible place to be. The only acces to the beach all over Eforie Nord was through some stair that are old and broken, everything was under construction in every corner, everybody tried to rip you off, and make money on your innocence. But again this is not the owner's fault they tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Peaceful place. The host was very polite. Private parking.

The floor wasn't clean at all. The shower cabin had some issues that we discovered when we had to make a shower. Needs improvement.
