Proximity to the beach. Secure facilities.
They were hosting pool parties each day to help with revenue. Accessing the pool was difficult.

Great location and 24 hours security, Enrique is the best host ever. Hotel has nice outlay with pool, bar and des decorated area around. The breakfast was included and it was big and delicious and different every day. For your convenience there is room service for breakfasts or if you order something from restaurant. The restaurant menu has nice variety dishes with affordable prices. Right on the corner there is guagua stop so you can get to everywhere in La Romana for 40 DP or get the uber if you have luggage
all good nothing to mention

All this hotel is alive!
The hotel was under construction and they were all the time making noises!
I ran away after 1 night and never have been refunded!
All the pictures are phony fake misleading! probably made by the computer aditting!

amazing staff, clean rooms, quiet area

The hotel's location seems to be somewhat on the city's outskirts. Since we did not drive, we commuted by walking. The hotel staff was friendly but non-English speaking. It was clean, towels did not stink and bed linen was clean. The bed was comfy. It is ok for a one or two-day stay. The pool looked nice and clean. Breakfast was reasonable and the staff polite. The hotel security seemed to be decent too - the main gate was getting locked during the night. The staff speaks Spanish and some of them - French. Staff allowed us to stay in the hotel (only room had to be vacated) on our last day.
I wish it was closer to the city centre, however, it is no fault of the hotel. Still, a manageable distance to walk or if you fancy you can take gua-gua. Somehow, in the photos prior to the booking, it looked more value for the money than when we arrived, however, it was good.

Everything seemed very clean and well kept! Beds were good. Staff were great! Spoke English, French, and Spanish. Breakfast was good - bread, butter, jelly, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.
The music at the pool during the day was so loud. we didn’t stay as long as we would have liked at the pool to get away from the noise. they allow people to use the pool publicly for a price throughout the day (which is totally ok) but the music to entertain outsiders made the environment less family friendly unless you’re not there during the day.

This little, lovely hotel is located some 150 m from the Cozy Caleta beach - on the outskirts of La Romana city. Gua-gua (minibus) will take you there for just 40 pesos, in the walking distance you will find bakery, grocery and other little shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast very tasty.
Be prepared for noisy music around the pool when local people are coming to bath, but it doesn't take a long time :)

For this price - I am not what else I could expect.
I would definitely do not recommend this place for a long stay. The area around is covered with trash, the closest beach is ok, but nothing else. We stayed there for 1 night because we were travelling from Samana and had an early flight the next morning and did not find a covid test lab in the samana area.

-Room is nice with AC, mini fridge, tv and clean bathroom, bed comfortable
-Breakfast is simple but good enough to start the day
-Area is safe, there is some construction around and it a 5min walk to the beach but I never felt unsafe even on my way back from dinner
-Localisation is not very great, close to the beach but it’s very small and not the best to chill or swim
-Far from center and transportation
-I traveled for 3 weeks in DR and went to different hotels and Airbnb. This one was the only one asking for money to get water.
-Got trouble when I left. Hotel ordered a cab for me. Had to order an Uber myself cause the guy showed 20min late and I almost missed my ferry cause of him. And the host was a bit pushy and didn’t understand he put me in a bad situation cause of his not reliable friend.
-You have to ask them to open the gate every time you want to go out or come back…

I like the Greek style of the room and of the whole property, you feel like on a Greek island :)
Breakfast service could be served earlier like 8:00am instead of 8:30am

Enrique was a great host and very amicable.
The hotel is located near a beach (several minute walk) which also has some great restaurants with a variety of cuisines.
The pool and rooms are quite nice.
There is a Netflix subscription which is great!
The bed was squeaking from every small movement which personally made it difficult to sleep.
The breakfast could've included more options to choose from.

The stuff was very nice. Breakfast was amazing!! Room was clean, aircon worked well, spacious bathroom and secured parking - all we needed! Inside was a swimming pool - we didn't try it. Beach is close, like 5 min. walk. Good contact with owner. Inside parking.
In fact nothing special: the area is a bit "local", but the whole hotel is sourounded by fence. The local beach is not so clean.
3.8
Aircon, hot running water, pool area looks really nice, fridge, two free bottles of water, pool bar
Everytime you shower, the water runs around the bathtub and wettens the whole floor due to a misconstruction (room 3), overall cleanliness was good but I spotted some strains of hair, bed is too short for everyone 1,9m or taller (6'3''), Fan was inoperable due to being mounted too far from the outlet, pool had lots of chlorine and covers of the pool underwater lamps were loose, looked dangerous

Our flight was delayed for a day so we just needed a simple non expensive room somewhere nearby to spend time. It was good for it plus the beach was really in 5 mins. We just love the people very helpful!!! So pity we have left before the breakfast so I cant say anything about it. Really fast wi fi! The cleaning was very good with disinfectants I really appreciated.
Hmmm as it is already said maybe a bathroom if you live more then several hours)) not for shy persons. There no door between the toilet and the room just a curtain))
3.8
It’s small but beautiful. I feel the owner and staff are part of my family already. This has been my 4th time staying there and will continue going.
I can’t say I dislike anything.
3.8
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The pictures are way better than reality. The hotel is not in good shape and the rooms need renovation. The toilets have no doors, only curtains. Actually, the toilet is simply inside the room, with no roof to cover it. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms. There is a pool, however it is used by guests from outside the hotel during the day and it remains dirty in the evening. They also play extremely loud music until 6 pm so it's simply not possible to rest in the afternoon.
3.8
Heat Shower is good.
Itchy Bedsheets!!!
3.8
Property is located within walking distance to the beach. Also in a quite neighborhood.

Safety and comfort
There is nothing to don't like there
