Great Place and only about a mile drive to San Gimignano.

Nice Room and the Property has stunning views of the valley. The location provided a great spot to be a hub for visiting San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca.

We stayed for 9 days. A little more variation in the breakfast would have been nice as it's the same everyday. So we got breakfast on our own for those days we left early to make one of our scheduled tours.

Roberto was very hospitable

not really an issue of the location that’s away from the old historical town because a had a rented car but just to note. But you are compensated of the stunning view of the property to the hills around.

Travelled to Tuscany many times, this is the best place where I’ve been, fantastic host, view , breakfast, location , room, so comfortable and just minutes away from San Gimignano , btw the little dog she’s so cute and friendly Best place ever in Toscana grazie per tutto we will def come back

The landscape and environment are perfect to relax and enjoy the Tuscan hills.

The warm welcome and lovely breakfast prepared every morning. Roberto was super thoughtful and helpful.

Really great stay, great location and would love to return one day and stay here :)

The hotel was beautiful, the views were incredible, the breakfast was really great especially getting to eat on our patio. the pool area was really great.

The booking website wasn't clear for me, I had the impression that I had booked a room with a double bed and a single, but that's not what was available.

The best stay in Tuscany

Such a beautiful house in the middle of Tuscany. Very spacious and comfortable, the wifi was a gem, something quite rare in the area. Roberto takes a great care of the property, it is very friendly and wanted to make sure we were having a great experience. The breakfast is delicious in the outdoor area enjoying the nature.

You need to drive to the city center as it is quite far to walk.

Lovely and Quaint

Roberto was an absolute gem and so willing to please and help. Breakfast was delightfully served in a picnic basket on your own private table overlooking the Tuscan Hills. Serene and idyllic with ample food to serve another 2 people. The town of San Gimignano was 5 minutes away by car. Other towns like Volterra and Lajatico are easily and quickly reached as well.

BathTowels were extremely rough and air conditioning was more of an air vent that did nothing to help temperatures in the high 30’s!

Beautiful location - very nice landlord - great pool - clean rooms and pool

The house is in a beautifull and quiet location and has a beautiful, sufifficently large pool. The very friendly landlord Roberto welcome the arriving guests with deliciious wine and snacks. During our entire stay, the landlord and his team take care of the wellbeeing of his guests, the cleanliness of the rooms, the garden and the pool. Saying goodbey was very difficult for us. We would come again.

Excellent stay.

The stay was wonderful. The host, Roberto was very kind and helpful. The villa is located 5 minutes drive from San Gimignano, in the country side, overlooking the picturesque Tuscan scenery. The breakfast was served outdoors, in a basket, picnic style, with fresh ingredients and hot drinks in thermoses. Excellent stay.

There was no phone reception. Wifi was available and we could communicate only via WhatsApp. The mattress in our room were slightly bigger than the frame of the bed therefore, comfort was not the best.

amazing,stunning,friendly,welcoming also a gorgeous dog 🥰

set in the most beautiful place unreal scenery ,we had a suite which was so clean and modern the bed was comfortable the bathroom was beautiful,breakfast was served in a basket with everything you could possibly want they have thought of everything! the pool was spotless clean with huge sunloungers , and the host was the nicest man nothing was a problem I will definitely be going back

After a week of travel in Italy, this was exactly what we needed, home away from home!

We absolutely loved staying at Villa del Sole! Roberto was a kind and gracious host and made our short stay perfect. The location is stunning, you’re secluded enough to be able to enjoy nature around you but close enough to walk to San Gimignano in 30 minutes. On a hot summer day, the pool was phenomenal. Breakfast overlooking the vineyards rounded out our perfect stay. Great place to unwind and relax, wish we had stayed more days but we will definitely be back!

How breakfast was served was simply a dream. There was everything that we could wish for and more. Having breakfast with such an amazing view is blessing. The hospitality of Roberto is out of this world. Just an amazing place to stay.

We had a great size room with separate bad room with a tub. Very friendly host with great tips for sightseeing and restaurants. Nearby very nice family restaurants, our favorite was Bosco Tondo, A 15 min drive to the next village. The pool was great too. Our son really enjoyed the company of the friendly house dog "Layla" Would love to come again
