The pool are its nice and also the hotel is close to the beach
Value vs quality. This is a simple hostal. We paid for a suite room hoping differences with other rooms but the bathroom was a mess, the bed absolutely uncomfortable, the WiFi was a disaster.

I like the facilities and the staff
At night there was a lot of noise nearby

Right on the beach, great rooms, nice on site restaurant plus close to other nearby restaurants. Friendly staff
It’s noisy on the weekend (if you’re not keen to boogie)

The Pool and that it was close to the beach. Food was good as well.
The receptionist hadn’t a good customer service. They didn’t clean our room, bathroom was dirty, with cockroaches. They also didn’t clean the room or change the towels, even-thought we asked for this services.
Bed was uncomfortable either the pillows were.
I would not return to this place.

Close to the beach.
The hostel have a serious problem of lack of maintenance. I stayed in a private room with my friends and we noticed the sheets were kind of dirty. We all came back home with serious mites bites that costs us many bucks in clinics and treatments! The bathroom was also dirty, the soap dispensers didn't work and the toilet was leaking all night. So stay away, look a better value for the money place around and save itchy weeks.

The location was completely perfect, nothing to complain about. The people were absolutely amazing, caring, kind, and very chill. Made friends instantly and had no problem at all. Very safe, very nice, incredible overall.
Maybe the fact that at night you can barely sleep if there is a party going on, but besides that nothing else.

I couldn’t stay at the property because the room I had booked via booking.com (standard room private bath) was not the one selina had ready for me due to a transfer information issue between both systems.

Being on the beach, the bracelet keys, the organized activities. The Shokogi instructor we had was amazing. The Panamanian employees were the best!
The ceilings in the loft were too low for my boyfriend. I was beginning to feel unorganized in my suitcase because of our lack of space. This room would have been fine for 1 person.

Selina Playa! Where the music never stops! (and get louder between 10pm and 4am). Sadly that was a negative feeling as I booked there as a digital nomad. Otherwise, the staff is super friendly, the location is superb. I don't think I'll go back... or maybe with ear plugs ;)
the noise. Really the problem is that it's too noisy. Music blasts until 4am.

The staff was definitely the best part of our stay; Abraham, Wendy, and Douglas were specifically incredible when it came to guest service. The facilities are also great. We enjoyed the overall decor, look and feel of the place. the beds were comfortable and there were some nice beach lounges to chill by the pool or in front of the ocean.
The food and beverage was very expensive given the quality. Also, would’ve appreciated having beach towels by the pool.

Nice location
Shared bathroom wasn't really clean. The toilets in the common room were also not cleaned up regularly. Lot's of toiletpaper next to the bin. (You can't flush toiletpaper in that area)

love the small little huts and the location on the beach, the yoga in the morning and surf.
the rave music will go on all night, a lot of things were broke like locks of the bathroom, toilets. it’s not very clean either.

Nice location at the beach, view on the beach from the restaurant, great overall look of the place. Cozy atmosphere. Surf boards available at reasonable price. The guys in the surf shop are nice. Most waiters also.
The noise is something that we don't appreciate. Loud music day and night everywhere. Pool, restaurant, nighttime. If you are looking for soft vibes and want to listen to the ocean, this is not for you.
Annoying the restaurant does not belong to the hotel, even though it is in the hotel. Every drink you buy, you have to pay right away. The prices from the restaurant are elevated and too expensive.
The kitchen is not very inviting, it looks rather like an old camping kitchen - it also smells.
The main receptionist seems like being bothered about questions. Also she does not pay attention to the clients. I wanted to talk in Spanish to her, since I am travelling in Panama and she answers in English all the time. My Spanish is very good and she is Latina.
The double rooms with shared bathrooms have a weird smell. Humidity?

it was nice enough— but overpriced!
the toilet in the room ran, and the shower only had hot water for a few minutes.
the restaurant did not have items on the menu. very limited offerings. also we booked a surfing lesson but the instructor was late claiming he had no idea there was a lesson booked.

Compared to other places in Panama, we think it is overpriced.

Location, beautiful spot and right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff, great vibe. Amenities are fantastic with a great community feel, surf lessons, yoga classes, dj nights from local talent.
The shared bathroom, so so so so gross. Will never be staying in a place with a shared bathroom again. A cockroach ran up my wall soon after I walked into my room. Sheets felt like rough sandpaper and there were stains on pillows that could be seen through the sheets.
