4.4
Location, value for money, proximity to parking, pressure of water and availability of hot water in bathroom
Manager and staff didn't understand English, water spillage in the bathroom after a shower

beautiful place and roof terrace
the attitude of the staff at reception and unwillingness to accomodate our needs despite the fact that we had 10 people staying
the fact that is literally on top of the big mosque - long prayer at dawn ….

El personal de recepción fueron muy serviciales, a la hora de indicarnos lugares donde visitar y ofrecernos, servicio de taxi para excursiones.
Un lugar para volver

The reception people were excellent, very helpful. Listen to them. Room very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Location a plus for me.

A lovely venue, very clean and well kept, with attention to detail and a lovely look and feel.
Bedrooms were great and nicely proportioned and the bathroom was small but perfectly adequate.
The breakfast was fine with authentic moroccan food as well as more traditional 'continental' style breakfast. Not too much choice, but absolutely fine. All the staff were also lovely and attentive across the whole of our stay.
Not much not to like. It genuinely a very sweet place to stay and we would have no problem recommending it and will definitely be returning. As it is located right next to the mosque, be ready for the morning call to prayer, pre-sunrise and sunrise. Fine if you are happy to immerse yourself in the culture, not so much if you are a poor sleeper and struggle to get back to sleep.

Enjoyed the adhans throughout the day and Adhkar (loud remembrances) - comes part and parcel of its excellent location. The older gentleman was one of the most pleasant people to deal with, very warm and welcoming. Rooms were clean, aircon was working and stay was comfortable to organise the trip. Breakfast was nice with fresh orange juice and croissants. Location was excellent to see the local culture, to try some local food and desserts.
Everything was quite good. There are small things, such as the shower being open so water would go from there to the main bathroom area quite easily. There also was limited water at breakfast. Also please note there is no lift, however the gentleman was kind enough to help us with our luggages up to our rooms (though we had to take them down ourselves).

Easy to find, clean, and modern. Lots of German tv channels. The staff was very helpful. They set us up with a tour to the Hercules cave for a good price I believe 400DH but we gave a 100 tip as the driver was very talkative and provided us a great time.

The riad is centrally located in the medina. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and spacious enough. The breakfast was ok and the terrace was just great to have breakfast or watch the sunset. The riad is next to a mosque and it might be a bit noisy during the call for prayer, but we had no issue with that.
There is a bit of a funky smell coming from the bathroom and the AC cannot be controlled from the room so it was a bit chilly for us.

location!, nice and clear room, breakfast
Some rooms are practically "no window" rooms...

Absolutely perfect location, within walking distance to everything. We initially struggled to find it as we were travelling by car, but we asked one of the locals and he hopped in the car and took us there, everyone is SO friendly. The breakfast was lovely, the staff are so helpful and kind. The room was lovely. We visited for my birthday, and the staff decorated the room for me. It was so special, we’d go back for sure. A bargain for what you get!
It’s quite hard to find, as it’s down a small alley. Ask the locals for directions.

The location was good, right in the old town medina, with the Mediterranean a few hundred meters near by. The bed was comfortable with a good blanket and beautiful cotton sheets and pillows. There are many restaurants, shops, markets, cafes near by. the breakfast [included] was good with a excellent view of the water and Spain, excellent coffee and croissant and jam etc. but no hot food items.
There is a mosque near by and the “call to prayer” woke me up promptly at 6 AM., everyday. The room was cold and there was no heater, just a/c, there is no climate control in the rooms, temperature is dictated by the front desk. The room was very small, there was no closet or dresser or shelves to put clothes, I had to leave clothes in my suitcase, no table and chair to sit, just the basics. Breakfast was on the top floor, up 5 flights of stairs, no lift. There is no key to the front door of hotel, you must ring a buzzer, the front desk is supposedly 24 hours, but several times I had to wait 5 minutes or so, for someone to open the door. The room [#3] has thin walls and I could hear conversations and noise from the room above me and beside me.
I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

A very nice Moroccon style house right next to the shopping streets in the old town. The rooms are nice and clean, not very big, a good bathroom with a shower, and a very friendly staff. Tasty local style breakfast with different types of bread, soft cheese, olives, tomato, cucumber, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, jam, yoghurt, boiled eggs, coffee or tea. I really can recommend this hotel.
There is no elevator and the small breakfast room is on the 5th floor with a roof top terrace.

A beautiful property. The attention to detail is exceptional, the decor, furnishings and cleanliness throughout is superb. This is the first raid we have stayed in during our trip (stayed in several so far) where our room has not been cold (it’s January and the nights get quite chilly). The bedding and linens are also lovely.
Good central location.
The breakfast on the terrace is very good.
The mosque is very close and can be loud during prayer. But this will be the case in many central properties.

Nice room, with comfortable bed and a really good bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the staff has been very kind with me.

everything was good. the room is totally the same as on photos. it’s clean, warm, with blankets and hot water. everything we need in winter :)

Nice staff, clean room. Really good location to main city centre for old city Tangier. Safe location and right next to port.
The bathroom bidet was leaking, so was the shower. However it was nice that room service cleaned every day and took care of the wet floor

All staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We we’re holidaying with our son who unfortunately at the last minute was required to work most days from the riad. Hannah could not have been more accommodating and helpful. She was able to accommodate our son in an appropriate room, bring in a desk for him to work from and provide occasional pots of tea. A great all round success.

great great great hospitality, service and willingness to make their guests feel welcome. I recommend it highly!

Central location of the hotel, friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, great breakfasts on the rooftop terrace
The rooms are very small and it gets very cold and damp in the winter as there are no a/c units or heaters. I believe the place is great and cool during the hot summers

very friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel. Breakfast is great with local food. Location is very convenient. I would stay there again. I saw some comments about the sound of prayers coming from the mosque. It is Morocco so many mosques around and it is normal. just bring earplugs :)
