About this house rental
This lovely, family friendly home is the perfect home base for all your coastal adventures.
Located adjacent to a forest area, the Allee Beach House is about six blocks from the wonderful Westport beaches. It's also just blocks from the historic Gray's Harbor Lighthouse, a must see as it's the tallest in Washington and third tallest on the West Coast!
From the house, it's only a short drive to the Westport Marina area where you can walk the piers, reserve your spot on a charter fishing boat, or even drop a crab pot right there. Kids love catching those sea critters.
ALLEE BEACH HOUSE
This is a single story home with a large deck, where you can enjoy the sun as you grill up that Salmon or Halibut you caught while charter fishing.
The living area has comfy furniture and lots of natural light where you can sit and chat for hours. However, you might also want to spend time on the covered and screened in sun porch as you play a great game of cards.
The home has three bedrooms including two queen beds, a full bed and a sleeper sofa so up to eight people have a place to lay their heads. There are two full bathrooms.
The backyard is fenced in so you can allow kids and the family dog to play while you watch them from the deck.

MORE ABOUT ALLEE BEACH HOUSE
If you're wanting to do some sea food exploration of your own, then Allee Beach House might be the right fit for you! We've recently added our very own clam cleaning station as well as a few clam guns for your use. Aside from clamming, we've also added a crab pot to take out to the marina. All you need to bring is the bait and you're set for a seaside exploration!
You'll feel right at home in this newly renovated kitchen. It has tableware, pots, pans and most everything you'll need to whip up those freshly caught crab legs.
Although the ocean is not Hawaii warm, Westport is the spot for Washington State surfers on the popular Half Moon Bay. If you're not ready for the chilly sport, you'll love just watching more adventurous folks braving the waves.
Dogs are welcome with a standard per dog, per night fee.

Great house to spend a few days at the coast. A little hard to find the first time but otherwise great location near the beach, marina, restaurants and grocery store. Clean and comfortable! Hope to stay again next time

The guys decided to take the boat out for salmon fishing on short notice. Wasn’t many places to spend a couple nights.Luckily this house was available and fit the 4 of us comfortably.

The property was hard to find and not actually correct on the picture map. I thought it was odd that i had to call upon arrival and deparure. The home furnishings were fine but we enjoyed the smaller sunroom porch for visiting. It said we could walk to the beach. But it would have been a very long walk. Seemed more like a commercial managed property with lots of rules. It was adequate if you have a large family.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house. It’s a great house, perfect size for the 4 of us and our 2 goldens. I love that it has a fenced yard for the dogs. I would love to stay here again

The house was very clean and nice and was located so that Grayland and the Westport Harbor were both easily reached. We were there primarily for razor clams and found the cleaning table a great asset. My wife especially enjoyed the fireplace and the sun room. Plan to stay there again when visiting the coast.

Very nice property with all the amenities you would ever need!

This was a five man tuna fishing trip. One man brought his camper so he slept in it. The house had 3 beds and a couch so it worked well. It was very clean and had what we needed for our two night stay. Awesome quiet neighborhood, tucked back in the trees off the street and within walking distance of a local brewery which we took advantage of. Everything seemed to function well and we were all pleased.

Perfect spot to get the family together to celebrate a big birthday. Great layout for the house and nice big kitchen that we were able to prepare some meals in. Walking distance to go check out the lighthouse.

Had a family wedding for the weekend. We didn’t spend much time at the house but had no complaints. Property is as advertised.

Overall Ok. Missing lightbulb. Sofa sleeper unusable and worn out

This house is a surprise—when you first pull in, you think “Ummm…what have I done?!?” But once inside, it is BEAUTIFUL! The pictures don’t even do it justice. It’s clean and nice. The kitchen is nicely equipped, the furniture is decent, although the couch could use a bit more padding, and the beds were all soo comfy! The only real complaint I had was there are no dressers in the rooms and when I stay a week, I want to unpack. There weren’t enough hangers to hang everything, either. As that is my only real complaint, I feel quite comfortable giving 5 stars.
There are crab pots in the shed, also and a fish station, which is very handy. Over all, very nice!

Nice back yard, and deck. Beds comfortable, furniture nice , clean but not so comfortable. Overhead lights in dining room, do not work....but candles fix that!

The house was as advertised. It was clean, well-kept, and had plenty of space.
There's also a fish/clam/whatever cleaning station outside, which is pretty spiffy for those of us who head on down to Westport for that type of marine activity.

Just as described, very comfortable and cozy home!

My fiancee proposed during this trip and this was a beautiful spot to come back and drink wine with our family to celebrate!

Our only complaint was we were not allowed to have my brother and his wife over for dinner and we only had five adults staying at the home when the maximum that can stay is 8 so we were clearly under that and they were only going to be visiting for a couple hours.

This house is a great place to stay just a short walk to the beach. The directions on our phone took us to the wrong place so make sure you follow the directions on the information sheet the property manager sends. Some of the furniture in the house is dated but everything is really clean and is probably one of the best values in the area. Overall, I would stay here again.

We had a great time with family. The home location is a great launching point. The home was clean and had plenty of amenities. I loved that the location is private, yet close to activities. I would definitely stay here and recommend to friends!

Booked the property for our family and realized we were going to have one baby too many. Emailed the host and they said no they could not accommodate the extra baby. Thanked them and cancelled and received confirmation email from VBRO - Credit Card bill comes and they had not removed the charges. Called and spoke VBRO agent and was informed that I should of followed up with Host. It had to be cancelled with them. Didn’t see anything about that must of been in the fine print. That it was my responsibility not theirs to contact the host. Transferred to the company managing the home and spoke with Agent stated that they could try to re-rent the property and refund a portion of the cost. If not re - rented then we would have two houses for the weekend. This was the first week of August just after the “3rd”. Monitored the home online and verified it was made available again and no one rented. Called the day before our trip and spoke with Agent for the Host verified YES they did not re-rent and we had two houses. It is what it is and we invited some friends to join us. Agent emailed confirmation and check In instructions with house code. Working at my desk that very afternoon and the phone rings and it is Agent for the Host - She says we actually re rented the property. You can’t stay there - I asked when did that happen? She says August 12. Why wasn’t I notified that the property had been re-rented. Asked when I would be refunded response was not until after the people had actually stayed in the home. To say that I had a horrible experience with VBRO is to put it mildly. I still have no clue how much of a refund will get when it will go back on my account if it will go back on my account. I do have to say that The Host for another company who handled the home we rented was a godsend because now we had extra people coming and had one house however they were very accommodating and helped us figure out what to do. What is my next step I guess I watch my credit card for an adjustment. My expectation is that this is going to be a horrible learning experience for me. To never do business with VBRO.

When we pulled up, we were pretty shocked at the condition of the outside (at least the front of the house) but when we went inside it was beautiful, clean roomy and we had a wonderful stay!

Razor clamming holiday
This was a great stay. Only 10 minutes from the clamming beach, with a layout that worked great for gathering over a Thanksgiving meal and relaxing.

Do not use GPS to find this place!
Approach the home from Forest and Sherman intersection. We ended up getting stuck trying to find this place on a dark rainy night. The local owner came and pulled us out and helped us find the place. Thanks for the much needed assist. Once we found it, the home was perfect for our stay and we rely appreciated the fenced yard for our pups! Only reason for not a 5 star rating is the difficulty in finding the place.

Awesome
Hard to find property but well worth it once there. Inside clean, comfortable and everything you need to cook while there. Loved the beach decorations. Highly recommend this property and would be at the top of my list in the future!

Not clean enough
It was a nice stay, beautiful home in a great location. It was just dirty. The bedding, pillows, floors, fridge, cabinet dishes and all. The fist night we stayed, I spent cleaning. And everything I took out the cabinets I had to wash before using or eating off it. I called to speak to manager twice and got no response . So I just cleaned and we made the best out of our 2 days. Had fun though.
