There was plenty of room for our family of five

It is such a cute property. It is very clean, is so nicely decorated, and very close to everything.

The check in instructions could be a little more clear, but we quickly got in touch with someone who was able to tell us exactly where it was and how to get in.

Lovely stay in a nicely renovated home

Great location in the town , with a nice view . Bright and clean property

Nespresso machine did not have any pods We had an ant infestation on the sun room sliding doors , we dealt with it using ant spray & the vacuum

Would stay again, host very welcoming and accommodating

Everything we needed, plenty of towels, comfortable beds. All the things you need with children, washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker etc etc. location was brilliant, literally 2 minutes down stoney steps and you in the centre by the harbour…..and pubs…….lots of pubs 😀

Really lovely place to stay.

Loved comfort of house in a great location.

There were only two things that were small issues. The bunk bed for children needs to be changed for safety reasons. The other small issue was parking was tight but we know that is outside your control. Thanks

Steps from everything - great stay

Online pictures matched properly exactly. One bedroom had private bath so that was great View from back patio was of they city Very quiet

Stressful

Location was excellent.

I booked for 2 nights for 5 people. booking.com had a glitch in the system that they admitted to this and emailed me confirming. The property owner thought it was for 2 people. But it took over 6 hours on the phone to booking.com and 3/4 phone calls to the property owner to sort this. The property owner then requested a €2,000.00 deposit or they would refuse to take us. We booked this back in September of 2022 and this all came to light the day beforehand. one of the most stressful experiences and unsatisfactory customer service I have had in my life. spoiled what was supposed to be a good weekend.

Great stay in the heart of Kinsale

Apartment was clean and modern with all the amenities. Also in a great location, just a walk up the steps froml the town

Check in could have been a bit better organized and check out felt quite rushed - 10am, not 11am as stated on the booking

Beautiful light and views in walkable Kinsale.

Loved the ease in reaching the hosts. The apartment has been updated with light and comfort in mind, including the beautiful sun room and outdoor space. Appreciated the tea/coffee options, and the laundry! The location is excellent for visiting Kinsale (be aware of the many steps: 2 bedrooms (1 master en suite, and 1 bunk room+twin), and 2 bathrooms are UPstairs. And the view from the bathroom at the top of the stairs is amazing!). To get down to the village is a stair climb, and parking is tight (if you are not used to driving on the left, the streets and parking may be difficult/stressful, but also still possible.). You’ll need to double check store open hours, as many are seasonal or change hours on the day. We enjoyed Oscar Madison’s for watching soccer with a smaller crowd, The Supper Club, and Jo’s cafe for breakfast. If you need a gift to enjoy there or bring back: KoKo of Kinsale sells books of chocolate. We enjoyed the walk through town to The Spaniard (and view point). We enjoyed 2 nights in Kinsale, and had a lovely day trip to Cork and Blarney Castle/Gardens.

As novice drivers and first-time visitors: would appreciate a map that shows how to drive and park there, so there’s less confusion. The second night we parked down in the village, and brought the car up just to load and go.

Wonderful house for a quick getaway in charming Kinsale

The property is very well appointed and equipped with modern fittings and tasteful decorations. The location is excellent with the ability to quickly walk to shops and pubs.

The address/location are confusing. Old Stoney Steps is actually on Higher O’Connell street, and navigation would have been easier if this was made clear.

Exceptional

Provision of tea/coffee, cooking oil,salt,pepper etc. Also shampoo, shower gel etc Ruth the caretaker was very helpful and easily contactable.

The weather but obviously out of your control. Would have been useful to have operating instructions for coffee maker.

Homey and pleasant stay!

The house is amazing! Everything was tidy and clean. There's a smart TV in the living room, albeit small, but it was good enough for us. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are small electric heaters provided if you're feeling cold.

The location was a bit hard to find but the host was really lovely and rang us several times to give us directions and waited at the junction for us.
